She didn't understand the pride that raced trough her with Ethaefal's simple 'yes'. She was happy that he praised her. In fact, she was happy that her teacher praised her. She never formed a student-teacher relationship, she only learned form friends and her step-dad, and neither could be considered close to this. She wasn't sure if Eridanus felt the same, but her new friend obviously became something special for the child. His aid probably helped little girl to form her path one day. She wasn't even aware of the problem he spoke about. Her usage of Flux was clumsy and reflexive, no matter how much her dad tried to make her understand the art. She realized she needed some meditation to get it to its place. She wasn't aware of tiny pieces of her astral net, of little pieces she had to control to speed up her performance and maybe lower amount of wasted Djed in process. Eridanus' performance seemed much more confident than her, mostly because of speed. Only now, watching him, she realized that pain she felt in arm was due to possibility of it dislocating. Luckily, it only got her step back a bit when she punched. She thought a bit. "I guess not...", she said, unsure. She knew she was going to regret not remembering the question when she faces some problem, but it's problem for future. She learned a lot that day, finally coordinating her Flux with a simple punch and maintaining balance... she had no more questions for now. |
