Lots of Announcements

First thing's first, I'm loving all the activity from all the new arrivals to the City. It's great to see you all here, and I hope you can find threads with the rest of the members here.

Second, anyone who isn't in the Character Registry, and is in The Spires for this season (you quest folks included) please Register.

Third, when Cinna returns from her vacation, she will be handling Housing for Citizens. Please make sure you make the appropriate measures.

If you are choosing to stay in the Base Camp Longhouses, rent is free but you must do a 3rd work thread and pay Poor Seasonal Expenses 45 gm/s (.5 gm/day) .

The 2nd option is to stay at Grath's Rest and pay the rent listed therein.

The 3rd option is to help build yourself a home! Depending on how many threads you put in toward your home, depends on it's cost. 0 Home Building threads = 500gm. 1 Homebuilding thread = 350gm for standard, 2 = 150gm for Standard, 3 = Free home. Beyond that will be determined by me and negotiations. This can be both for those visiting or staying permanently. There is a catch though. These homes cannot be sold should you decide to leave. You build it, it is yours forever. All of these housing requests must be made at the Petal of the Timid Cougar, and Cinna will handle them in the order received.

Fourth, Community Development. I love when you all develop anything to make your city so much better, and I've added a few new sections to the Wiki. I added in some quick links to the beginning of this thread until I finally get around to finishing the Players' Guide. A few things that have been added are:

Spirian NPCs - NPC List
Spirian Games - Games List
Spirian Fables - Fables, Stories, and Legends

Also, due to more reservations than development, I'm removing all reservations to develop locations and NPCs and the like, and abolishing it forever. From now on, it is first approved, first served. So if you have inspiration for an NPC, Location, whatever, just post it into the Suggestion Box, and if approved, congratulations! But yeah, no more reservations, it was a flawed system in retrospect, but hey, not all my ideas are winners.

You may develop whatever you'd like, whether it be Locations, NPCs, Creatures, Plants, Stories, Games, Holidays/Festivals, whatever. Free reign, just needs to be approved by me.

Finally, all pictures used in development projects should be free of unnecessary words, marks, and must be uploaded to the Mizahar Galleries.

Houses, Houses, Houses!

Hello my darling Spirians! I have a few things that I need to discuss with all of you. As many of you know, or if you don't I'm telling you now, you can have your own personalized home within the Spires! Now, there are several requirements that go along with this. First of all, all of those wishing to have their own home MUST post to the Petal of the Timid Cougar to let me know that you wish to have one, I will be modding each thread in the order that they come. No two Spirian homes are going to look the same, since all homes are wooden and have curving features.

Also, in that submission I'd like you to tell me what exactly you are looking for. I'd like to see a lot of creativity to make your homes reflect who your characters are as a person, and whether your character has skills in house building or not, we will get a personalized home just for you! Please remember that one home building thread will give you a discount, which means your character will pay 350 gold mizas for the final product. Two threads you pay 150 mizas, and three threads you pay nothing! Yay! Also remember this is just for a standard home and to please let me know how many threads you wish to do.

Now for one last thing. Once we are finished with the threads, I want to see a write up of your home

. This doesn't have to be anything longer than about two paragraphs and to include a picture of what it looks like. Once that is complete, your home will then be put in the link map so everyone can come and visit you! Yay visitors! So be creative and spunky and lets see some new homes in the Spires!

A Few changes, so please read!

Hello Spirians! As many of you have seen, Creeper has retired and so there will be several changes that will only be temporarily until I am able to sort them out. Please be patient with me! As of now, all quests and modded threads will be postponed until further notice. I will be in contact with each of you in the quests to get an idea of what is going on, so do not worry about your character having anything bad happen to them at the moment

Now, I still want everyone to continue to post threads and submit ones for grading, which can be either to my office or the grading/moderation thread. Please keep doing that! Also please keep sending in ideas for the bestiary and the link map, keep developing to make The Spires the beautiful place that it is, I want to see creativity! I will still be taking care of housing as well, so please feel free to apply for one
