Built high in the massive branches of Taldera's bloodwood forest, The Spires is a city crafted by the peaceful and scholarly Jamoura. Considered a haven for scholars and sages Mizahar-wide, The Spires is a mecca of philosophy and science that draws people from far and wide with its promise of deeper thinking and higher reasoning.

The Shrine of Makutsi has been around for much longer than there has been people to visit and worship it. It is one of the most unique features in all of The Spires, and is the main source for fresh water within the city. At the outer edge of one of the Hahk'Maghtar is massive, untouched branch that houses the Shrine of the Four, as well as the Shrine to Makutsi. Her Shrine is a large wading pond, ten feet at its deepest, fed by several small waterfalls, that tumble from the upper branches of the Hahk'Maghtar. The Jamoura know this is not a natural possibility, and is a gift from Makutsi herself.

The wading pond is always pristine and clean, and the water is always fresh. The pond is used for many purposes, celebration, bathing, entertainment. The Jamoura often throw festivals to the rain Goddess here, and also attribute her as the Goddess of fog too. It is known that She shows up quite often to visit this shrine, and will dance with her followers. The pond and stream have never dried up, nor have they frozen over or flooded. They are constant and unyielding, and don't appear to be eroding at the branch.

Many unique pond flora and fauna live here, the most well known of which is Makutsi's Flight. There is a single school of these flying fish in the pond, and they only exist here, and as such, are highly protected. They have the unique ability of extreme gliding, and the entire school can be seen gliding all around The Spires, before coming back to the pool. To kill one of these is to have yourself Forgotten and banished from the city.

The Shrine has survived both the Valterrian and the Djed Storm of 512 AV, seemingly able to flush itself of any toxins and Wild Djed. The water here is the purest of forms, and will purge the body of all but the most resilient of toxins. This makes it highly sought after by brewers, cooks, philterers, poisoncrafters, and Leechers alike. The water seems to lose its purity if it travels too far from the Shrine, and as such, can be found nowhere else in the world.

Title: Keeper of Makutsi's Shrine

Gnosis: 2 Marks of Raindancing
Koraynya has been in Makutsi's Shrine almost every day since her birth. Her mother went into labor while there, and gave birth to her in the wading pool. Makutsi attended this, marked the child, and began a celebration that lasted several days. Ever since then Koraynya has been dancing in the Shrine, while also maintaining and protecting it. She works with many others to help research the unique plants and animals that live here. She can almost always be found here, dancing, teaching, or just enjoying the crisp waters.

Koraynya is very flippant and lackadaisical. If she weren't the keeper of the Shrine, she would be one of the laziest Jamoura around. She's quite kind, but often apathetic toward anything but the Shrine and her Goddess. She also has a notorious sweet tooth, so many people who wish to learn from her often bring sweets in order to coax her into teaching them.
