Built high in the massive branches of Taldera's bloodwood forest, The Spires is a city crafted by the peaceful and scholarly Jamoura. Considered a haven for scholars and sages Mizahar-wide, The Spires is a mecca of philosophy and science that draws people from far and wide with its promise of deeper thinking and higher reasoning.

Near the head of the Petal of Adamant Devotion, sits a large, semi petrified Bloodwood. The Jamoura know this was created during the Valterrian, and consider it a unique gem, rather than an abomination. Nearly every citizen and visitor stops to see the wood-turned-stone of the tree, and of course to visit the Shrine. The Shrine, and tree, are accessible by a single, extremely well built bridge, that wraps around the entrance to the tree as an observational deck. There are several arched entryways into the Meditation Chamber of the Shrine of Wysar.

The Shrine was built shortly after the Jamoura were blessed by Caiyha, by a Jamoura named Wrend, who was a singly marked follower of Wysar. Carving through the petrified wood was no easy task, and it took Wrend the better part of a century to complete the bridges, observational deck, and the Meditation Chamber, perfecting each groove, each piece of polished wood and stone completely smooth like the face of a gem. Then Wysar came forward and presented him with a challenge. He was to build within the Shrine itself a series of challenges to test his disciples and worshipers.

Over the next three centuries, Wrend built three more chambers beneath the meditation room, designing in trials meant to challenge the disciples mentally, physically, reveal their flaws, test their strengths. When he completed his construction, Wysar blessed the three trial chambers, and then added in a fourth himself, and presented the challenge to Wrend. The Jamoura succeeded, and was granted both his second, and third, marks of Evantia, and became a Priest of Wysar.

The Meditation Chamber took the better part of a century to complete, adorned with polished, petrified wood and stones from the forest floor. It is lit with Syna's grace flowing through the arch ways during the day, and by small candles during the night. There are benches built into the walls, topped with sitting cushions. There is a circular section in the middle for those who feel they are ready to attempt the Trials of the Shrine. There is almost always a candidate sitting there, meditating, hoping the Trials will accept them. When someone is on the circle, there is to be no speaking or disturbing of any sort, or they would find themselves quickly ejected physically from the Shrine. If the Trials accepts a candidate, the circular section will lower the candidate into the First Trial Chamber, and seal itself off until they are complete, successful or not. Anyone who has been previously allowed into the First Trial Chamber will be allowed in at any later time after a brief period of meditation.

Moderator's Note: The Observation Deck and Meditation Chamber require no Moderation. However, to gain access to the First Trial Chamber requires a Domain Storyteller Moderation.

Very little is known about the Trials Chambers, as those who gain access to them find it would ruin the process if they spoke about it. Access to, and completion of, the Wysar's Chamber requires a Domain Storyteller. To date, only three individuals have completed all of the Trials, and all three are marked with Evantia.

Shortly after Caiyha blessed the Jamoura, Wrend found himself being blessed by Wysar after he successfully defended his people from the attacks of humans encroaching on their forests. He led much of the defenses and counterattacks, but also showed mercy and drove the humans out rather than killing them. After being marked by Wysar, he set out to build the Shrine, and then later received, and completed, the challenge of building the Trial Chambers. Now he lives out his days teaching those within the Shrine, and worshiping Wysar.

Wrend is a fair and balanced Jamoura. He never gets upset or disappointed by his students, for they never fail in his eyes. They just get one step closer to success while under his watchful eyes. He never turns anyone away, and always offers second chances. His patience is endless, his dedication to his students astounding.
