[The Wolf's Cave] Finding Shelter Away From Home (Blizzard)

Walking into The Wolf's Cave, Shyam was surprised by what he found. People of his kind were few in numbers and most of the they did not gather in large groups. However here there were quite a few of Kelvics. On top of that there were also Zith, Symenestra and other kinds of races. Walking in slowly he looked to his left and right, and he spotted a huge boulder.

He walked up to it and saw a beautiful female canine Kelvic. Hello. Welcome to the Wolf's Cave. My name is Micah. How may I help you. She had a playful smile of her lips, and that combined with her beauty made him feel like he was a child. I would like to have a room for 1 please. For a few days. Maybe 20... And.. Nothing. Shyam trailed off into silence. Micah's smile became slightly bigger and her eyes twinkled playfully. She also noticed the falcon that was resting on his shoulder. What about your friend here? Is he/she also a Kelvic? You will have to pay for her as well. No. She is just a friend of mine. A normal falcon. Then that will be 20 SM for 20 days, if you take a simple room. But for the luxury room you will have to pay 60 SM, but it is alot more comfortable and has more space, to store your stuff. Contemplating on whether he should take the luxury room just to make her smile, what his father taught him came to mind and he decided to save his money for when he really needed it. No thank you. A simple room will be enough.

He reached for his pouch under his Katinu and felt around for 20 SM. He took them and gave them to Micah, accidentally touching her soft hand. He felt like letting them linger but he pulled his hand away and put them back under his Katinu. Smiling softly and in a way that made his heart beat all that much faster, Micah gave him his room Key and told him where to go. He turned around and went on his way all the while thinking about the beautiful Micah and her soft hand and her beautiful smile. He was beginning to feel like a child again.

TimestampYou need to Timestamp the thread. Summer 18th, 512AV (Late Evening) since they planned on meeting up again. Blizzard huffed when she sat her pack down on the bed. It wasn't a bad room, but it wasn't the best. But for the price she was paying, it would do just fine. The bed was comfortable and it had been a while before she had had a decent sleep, but right now wasn't the time to sleep. The night was still young and trouble was bound to happen. At this point, she didn't really mind trouble and an argument or two might even make her feel better. Well, since the night's still young, why don't we go have ourselves some fun? Standing up from the bed, she fixed it back nicely then opened the chest, looking inside. She shoved a few gold mizas in her dress pocket, then put the rest back in her pack, sitting it inside the chest securely. She turned the lock knob which locked it. With a sigh, she stood up. As she looked down she saw her silver mizas that had fallen on the floor. Frustrated, she quickly bent down to pick them up. Honestly, Blizt didn't feel like opening the chest back up and sitting them inside her backpack. She stood back up then tossed them onto the desk Nice aim. Two of the mizas fell back onto the floor. Blizzard growled then picked them up, securely placing them back onto the desk while shaking her head. She opened the door, walking outside, then quickly yet quietly shut it in frustration although if anyone saw her they would know she wasn't in a good mood. Blizzard looked to her right to see more doors then looked to her left again to see Shyam smiling like a kid in a candy store.

The room looked comfortable. It was spacey and had all the basic necessities that he would need. He went to the window and opened it so that Aesir could fly out whenever she needed to. She jumped of his shoulder and landed on the windowsill. He went to the chest at the foot of the bed and opened it. He put his toiletries, the spare pouch, the sandals, flint, sharpening stone and the eating knife inside. He also left all but 20 Gold Miza and 20 Silver Mizas inside. I wonder if this place has good security.

He saw a padlock inside the chest and he picked it up along with it's key. Closing the latch and locking it ensured that his stuff would be safe for awhile. He contemplated leaving his Katinu behind but the weather did not seem to encourage this thought so he kept it on. I hope Ionu doesn't like thieves in his/her city. He went to window and spoke to Aesir. Gaurd. She would keep this place safe as well as she could but not enough to risk her life.

Looking forward to meeting Blizzard, he smiled slightly, while leaving his room and locking his door behind him. He looked up to see Blizzard in a bad mood and his smile grew larger as he stood there waiting for her to notice him.

Once she looked up, Shyam was there smiling like he'd been offered a thousand gold mizas. This made her grin with a slightly muffled chuckle that made her anger go away "Well, what's gotten into you? You look really happy!" Blizzard didn't know if it was because she was here or something special had happened to him but it made curious. Curious enough to ask which she ever so rarely did. "You should've told me you were booking here." she didn't want to sound rude so she offered to go somewhere "I decided the night was young so I was going to go out and maybe even grab a bite to eat and stop in The Withering Rose. Care to join me?" She was pretty sure the buildings would change again and it might could take a few hours to find it again, but what did she have to lose. More excitement, more fun. Her sweet almost innocent smile turned into a faint soft grin illuminating her slightly tan skin as she looked into his golden eye patiently waiting for an answer. They were a unique golden color she had only seen when a few Vantha's eyes had changed. OOCSorry it's a bit short. I know you've been waiting for a reply but I'm trying to play the kinect with my little sister.

Me? I just saw a.... pretty lady. Still smiling slightly he, gently took her arm in his and walked with her, down the stairs to the main area. As they were leaving, he saw Micah who gave him a small wink, but he quickly looked away.

The city at night seemed more mysterious, but he was more at peace at this time. His mother always said that night time was the best time of day, because the ugliness of the world that was laid bare during the day, could was hidden in deep dark shadows, giving the illusion of safety. His father said that night time was the most dangerous time of the day, because your enemies would have so many more places to hide behind and stab you when you were not looking. He agreed with both views, but he still enjoyed the dark the most.

Is it safe? The city? It is dark, and it does not look safe with the crazy God....dess. You said you did not like the Withering.... Rose. Bad memories. We do not have to go there. If you do not want to. He smiled gently at her. His headache had faded again to a dull throb, something that seemed to happen when he was around her. He pondered on why this happened while he waited for her to answer.

When he took her arm, Blizzard's cheeks turned a little bit redder. She didn't mind at all, and actually quite enjoyed it. He appeared to make her happy which she found extremely strange. "You saw a...?" Blizzard didn't understand the last part which frustrated her to a minor degree. The Snow Leopard Kelvic looked over as they were exiting the lodge to see Micah wink at him "Oh. I see." Her voice was silenced as she stopped talking for a bit. Shyam asked a few more questions so she decided to answer these with some thought "The city is well..." she couldn't quite put her finger on it "Well, to put it this way, is any city really safe? I don't know about the underground part of Alvadas but up here I'd say it's fairly safe. I mean, I've only encountered one person that I really despise." She wasn't sure if that was the real side of him since he was drunk, but so far, his first impression wasn't very friendly. "To be honest, the Withering Rose's experience was amazing. Amazing food, good price, friendly staff, but the citizen experience was the bad part. And to add to that, he was drunk. Maybe a second try's the charm?" His smile was nice warm smile that seemed as if it could make her feel better no matter what the issue. "That reminds me, how's your headache?"

In an ironic tone he said; It is my... best friend now..... But it is not so bad. It is better now. Thank you for asking. This man. Did he hurt you? He looked at her, his eyelashes covering his eyes. Remembering her first reaction to the place, Shyam wondered why she was hiding it now but it seemed better to let her keep her secrets. God know we all have something we are not proud of. You do not have to answer if you do not want to. They walked in silence, and he waited for answer that might not come.

The city seemed to be alive. A beast that was waiting to attack at any corner. He heard things like nails clicking against stone. Looking ahead he saw a shadow disappear around the corner. Shapes seemed to scramble in alley ways. That along with the continuously shifting buildings made him a very paranoid man. Underneath his Katinu in a small movement that should not be noticed he opened his pouch and left it open so that it was easy to reach for a knife should he need one. Drawing the sword could take too long and by that time he could already be dead.

After doing so he relaxed again and instead concentrated on the beauty next to him. He enjoyed her scent. Something about the soft, nice flowery scent combined with her feline scent, was pleasing to him. The soft body that he felt next to his was highly enjoyable, but he felt muscle underneath that, leaving him to think she was not a woman who let others take care of her.

The concern in his voice made Blizzard think she could trust him. Something she hadn't experienced in a long time. He was waiting patiently for an answer, but she could also tell that he wouldn't push it if she didn't please to give one "Not really. I mean, yes, he tried to kill me and yes he punched me on the cheekbone, but his punishment was more severe. I brought blood to him and he was on the ground. Drunk. I'm sure his hangover was quite nasty as well with all the wine he had." The throwdown was a bit fuzzy. Because of her adrenaline rush at the time, but she could still remember the essential details that didn't warp the truth. "So that's when I decided why let one person ruin it forever?" It could take all night to find The Withering Rose, so might as well pass the time with questions and answers "Well, I like a lot of things. Have you ever had elk from Taldera? Best captures I had ever made. Lets see, poppies, ice, anything that smells sweet, good tasting food, being in animal form. Haha." Blitz figured she could ask a few questions about him in return "So, what do you like?" She let the question linger in the air as she let silence fill her lungs for a while waiting for him to answer the question. The buildings changed once more and flowers began to sprout from the street Only in Alvadas. she shook her head with a grin then turned her full attention to Shyam. He had listened to her and it was only in Blizzard's best to do the same. She let the arm that wasn't interlocking with his, straggle to the side to softly touch one of the beautiful flowers. A flowery aroma soon filled the air which made her take in a good breath. It was somewhat refreshing, just like the cool night air.

No sorry I have never seen any of those things. Most of the time I was learning and reading books. I just started exploring. He enjoyed watching her, as she talked. The changes of her facial expressions, her smiles, the way her lips moved and her eyes twinkled. It was enjoyable. Her reaction as she played with the flower was purely magical to him and he was for once happy to be in this town.

I like alot of things. But I like money, power, knowing stuff and....beautiful things the most. They are what make my life worth living. I only like... a few?... people. He closed his eyes and let his body move for him. He did not want to worry about useless things, so he decided to ignore what he saw and instead focus on what was next to him.

"Can't say the same." she laughed brightly. His golden eyes reminded her of the sun's rays hitting water. The darker golden flecks, adorned the lighter ones. If one was to look close enough, they would see that it was almost like actual moving gold. It complimented his complexion as well as his black hair. He had a strange beauty, but it was unique. Unique was good. The buildings changed again, and luckily The Withering Rose was there to their right "I was taught that beauty is what's on the inside. Beauty can mask evil things and even trickery," she held up the white flower "This flower for example. Yes it is beautiful, but is it real? No. It may fool your smell, touch, and sight, but it is not exactly what it seems." She steered them both towards the restaraunt "Let's see what happens, shall we?" Maybe this time the experience would be better. A whole lot better she hoped. After all, she did have someone else with her this time so she wasn't as vulnerable. She looked at him once again then looked at the door with a slight twinkle in her eye Smells delicious. The aroma of cooked food and wine soon filled the air as they approached "Smells lovely."
