Physical Description

Wolf Form:
The wolf's body is lean and approximately 5'6'' from the tip of the tail to the nose. From a young age he learnt that muscle while useful does not win fights, but a combination of strength, stamina and ingenuity. His wolf form reflects these thoughts.

The body is streamlined, giving that much more resistance to being slowed down when he needs to run. His body is neither thin or thick, but rather a combination of the two, which gives him the strength needed to fight without being too slow to dodge out of the way when needed. However because of this he does not have any muscle or fat to protect him when he is hit or cut, making his physical form a double-edged sword.

His primal instincts help him when he is fighting an enemy. They give him hints about where to attack and when to dodge, and he uses this with his knowledge, to give him an edge in a battle against novice and slightly experienced enemies.

The wolf has extremely dark fur, which when hit with light gives off a faint blue sheen. However, at night the fur blends into the dark extremely well and seems to be a part of the shadows. This assists in night-time hunting, and is only a hindrance when hit with direct moonlight, which brings out the blue tones in the fur.

Human Form:
Shyam has a tall lean 6 foot tall body. Like his wolf form he favours speed and endurance above pure strength. Because of this he has trained his body to fit these requirements.

His upper body is more muscled then it would appear when clothed. He has trained all the muscle sin his torso that give him flexibility, giving him something that resembles a swimmers build but slightly more muscled. His arms are covered with muscles that give him either short bursts of power when needed or endurance for long use. His legs are built like a marathon runners and sprinters, but are lean complimenting his body. They give him staying power, but also speed when escape or fast travel for a short distance is needed.

He has a few scars to speak off, but they were caused in various small accidents when he was trying something new or messing around. He has a face that is exotic like most people of his race.

His cheekbones are high and pronounced. His mouth is full with the lower lip being a smidgen fuller then the upper. It is a few millimetres small for his face but nothing that is too obvious. His nose is thin and slightly up-turned giving him a snobbish appearance at times. His ears are medium-sized and are slightly peaked. A kind or remnant of his canine form.

His eyes are combination of ovular and angular, and are heavily-lidded giving him either a tired or bored expression. His eyelashes are long and curl slightly, covering his eyes. He mostly uses them to protect his eyes from the sun when it is too bright, and he has slightly thin eyebrows that are more likely to give you an idea of what he is thinking then his other facial features.

His hair is a deep, dark black that gives off blue tones in sunlight. It reaches a few inches below his back and it has a few slight curls. It is full and light, and sometimes floats around abit when is blown by the wind. When he needs to work or when he is concentrating he ties it in a ponytail or a braid. A few strands of hair are always around his face and he keeps braid that falls to the side of his face.

He wears the Inartan Bryda and Sontave most of the time, and the sandals when at home. Whenever travelling or doing anything outside, he wears his Katinu protecting him from any sudden attacks and protecting him from Aesir's talons when she is resting on his shoulder.

The body-length overcoat also gives him privacy and protection to pickpockets, as it does not reveal where his weapon or pouches are. He keeps his Talon sword in a sheath that is tied to his waist and his thigh, leaving his movement comfortable and stopping it from sticking out at the bottom of his Katinu when he is walking.

His knives are either around his waist under the belt, or in one of the pouches around his waist. The pouches are on the right side of his body and are of medium size. One of them carries all the things he needs, while the other carries any food he needs to keep when travelling.

Character Concept

Those who say that they are willing to give up their lives are fools, for they do not understand how much their lives are worth. Every moment that we live, every second that we breath, every chance that we have are only of use to us if we are alive. Death robs us of everything. Those who are unable to move on because we have left something unaccomplished, can do nothing as they suffer for all eternity, only realizing that their time when alive was the only chance they had of achieving something. Always accomplish what you want to when you are alive, for when you die and are unable to become one with the Djed after you die, then you will suffer as a bundle of anger, hate and envy because you didn't try and accomplish what you could, when you had the time and opportunity.

Knowledge Begets Truth, Which In Turn, Begets Power. This is what defines every waking moment of his life. He seeks knowledge because that power that comes with it will help him accomplish what he is aiming for. For this goal he will be willing to give up almost everything except his life, for he knows as soon as he loses that then everything is lost. Because of this advice that his father gave him, Shyam is someone who has put his all into everything he has done. He never pursues something unless he is willing to finish it, no matter the cost. Sacrifice, when in reason, is something that he does not flinch at. When the sacrifice does not justify the result, he seeks out other methods if they are available.

Shyam is quite simple when it comes to his moods. He appreciates many things and beauty is something that he truly enjoys. He is easily amused and takes joy in the smallest things. In a way he reflects his age, if it was to be measured in human terms. He is curious about many things in the world and is very likely to ask new people he meets alot of questions. He tries to be kind and charming, will often try and help someone with their problems. He does not regret what he says or does because in his opinion, if you are going to do something, then make sure you do not regret it after words. Regret is a waste of energy that could be used doing other things.

His patience depends on how he is feeling and how the world around him at the moment is. He can go from having near infinite patience, to being extremely irritable but he never gets angry. To him anger is a waste of time and energy. Time to him is very important because as a Kelvic he has a very limited amount of time available, so he wishes to make as much use of it as possible. This shows in the fact that he thinks dynamically and quickly, as it allows him to cover as many possibilities as possible, in a short amount of time. He tries to do things as fast as possible but he always makes sure to learn from it, as it would be pointless if he hurried through it without learning.

Drifting Peacefully Through Life.

Shyam's early life was simple and quite. He enjoyed, taking naps, listening to musicians play and meeting people. In short he did not stress himself unnecessarily. Because of his fast growth he never really learned to play with the other kids, but he got along with them and occasionally did a few fun things with them. He helped his father who was an Avora, a glassworker to be exact, in the workshop. Maybe it was because of this, or because of where he was born, Shyam developed a taste for beauty. All kinds of beauty interested him He learnt that people were like glass pieces. The could be flawless and gorgeous, but because of this they could also seem empty. Then there were the people who were flawed, but those same flaws made them even more beautiful then the perfect sculpture. Wanting to learn about as many kind of people as possible he spoke to people often. If they were new to Wind Reach, they interested him more. The minstrels and bards were among his favourites, because they brought stories of where they had travelled and knew of things that he had never experienced. He enjoyed listening to their tales and to the beautiful songs of countries he had never seen before.

His other obsession was flying. The Endal were people he looked up to in awe. His father was friends with a few and when he went to meet them Shyam always made sure to go. That was only so that he could meet the great wind eagles. Those beautiful creatures that inspired fear and amazement, in him. Seeing one of them up close was amazing and he always dreamed and imagined of the day when he too could ride one of those legendary beasts. The riders were also people he respected. He heard the tales of how they would seek a new born Wind Eagle and they would always visit it never giving up, day in and day out always bringing gifts to the creatures on the hope that it would acknowledge them, and give them the honour of riding them. He imagined sitting on the Eagle, flying through the sky, touching the clouds and moving through that beautiful blue sky that he loved. It was something that he vowed to do once before he died no matter what. His father seeing the determination in him gave him an egg. He told him that if he could take care of the creature that was born from this egg, the his dream of flying on an eagle would be much more then just a dream.

Shyam took this message to heart. He made sure to learn how to take care of birds. He took advice from professional hunters who used birds-of-prey to hunt, about how to hatch an egg. He worked hard keeping it warm and comfortable and after awhile when he was feeling heart-broken because he thought that his friend had died, it hatched. What he felt at that moment was a happiness so profound that he cried, tears of joy. After that he worked even harder keeping the little falcon safe. He asked a few carpenters who gladly helped him, for a large wooden cage that was as stable as possible and that was fixed in place. He then got made a small next for his falcon to stay in and he covered it with, heat-insulating cloth so that the little chick would not freeze. He got fish from the harbour every second day as food for his friend. Time flew and the chick grew up. He moved it from the small cage to a larger cage so that it had space to start flying. During this time he went to an Avora who was a leather-worker and got equipment for his hawk. He worked with her to get measurements for Aesir's hood and jesses. He considered getting a tag to identify her but he knew that he would always be able to identify her. After getting all that the next two major steps came. Flying and hunting.

Flying was something that came naturally to Aesir. It was something that she was born to do. Hunting was hard though. He waited for her to get accustomed to it and for her to strengthen her wings. After awhile he started taking her out of her cage. She would fly for a while before returning to him. He got her accustomed to the hood and the jesses making sure they fit her properly, so that training would be easier. Then he taught her how to fly to and from a certain destination. After awhile he was able to make her do small tasks like following someone and showing him where they went or retrieving items for him. Shyam left for the first real hunting trip with Aesir after 2 months of training her. They were able to get a few rabbit and he was really happy and proud. He decided to hurry home to show his parents but little did he know that his peaceful days were over.

A Cruel Awakening.

Ecstatic that he was able to catch some prey with Aesir he ran home, feeling like he was soaring on the back of a Wind Eagle through the heavenly sky. He felt ecstatic, and elated and so full of pride that it was almost like he was gonna burst. With the in a pack that he had slung over his back and Aesir flying in the sky with him he ran home. Jumping over obstacles slipping and sliding but never falling down or slowing down in the slightest. Finally he got to Wind Reach. If he had slowed he would have noticed something was off. He finally reached his house to see his mother crying on the front porch. His father's friends were standing around her at the front porch, with her female friends holding her hand and helping her. The look that he saw on his mother's face when she saw him stayed with him for the rest of his life. Her eyes were filled with so many emotions, but the most prevalent were agony sadness fear and anger. None of the men could look him in the eye and instead looking anywhere else but never meeting his eyes. He didn't want to know what happened and his brain was saying that he should run. Turn around and run , instead of facing what it knew was gonna hurt him immeasurably, but he knew that he had to support his mother for her pain was definitely worse then his. He dropped the pack on the ground and walked over to her. Stopping in front of her he crouched down. Without saying anything he hugged her and she started crying heavily on his shoulder. Her wails were full of sadness and agony and they filled him with despair and fear, but he knew that if he also broke-down there would be no one to take care of his mother. After awhile a doctor came. She cast a sleeping spell on his mother that would keep her in a deep, dreamless sleep. While she slept he asked the men what had happened.

Apparently his father had gone on a hunting trip with some friends. It was supposed to be safe and simple, but Fate had other plans. A storm appeared out of nowhere. So fast that it was almost impossible to predict. It tore through where they were hunting. They looked for a place to hide, but they were them ambushed. The ones of ground fought as well as they could, but were unable to get assistance from the Endal because of the storm. All they could do was find a place for the Eagles to be safe and then come on foot. By the time they arrived it was too late. The men were all dead, with all their valuables gone. All their bodies are completely mangled. As if they were attacked by a wild beast. Their bodies were unable to be brought back as they were in too many pieces, and they didn't know if they were gonna be attacked again so they decided to cremate their bodies. They searched for some dry wood and after building a bonfire around and above them, they set it on fire. They made sure that it would burn well enough and long enough and then they headed back home to report what had happened.

Hey there!

I'm Siren, the local and completely harmless Character Sheet Liaison. In order to help you get the most out of your experience on Mizahar, I have taken a look at at your Character Sheet to make sure that everything is up to par!

Unfortunately, there are a few changes that have to be made before we can move forward! Please see the tabs below for details on these issues.

WIP
If you have started posting on the forums, you need to remove WIP from the title of your CS.

Skills
You have your skills in two places. You need to keep them in one place, with SP (starting package) and RB (racial bonus) to indicate the skill points that you started with.

Once the above has been addressed, feel free to send me a private message, let me know you've fixed what I've pointed out and I will remove the intervention!

Write on,
