She wasn’t entirely sure what the other was doing but she waited patiently, hearing the groaning and thumping and smirking a bit as her mind went down another road entirely. But just as she was about to make a comment and ask what the other was doing she felt herself being lead up what seemed to be an unsteady staircase. “Do all houses have a staircase to the roof?” Honestly she wasn’t sure, her mama never let would let her climb a roof. She could practically hear her mam shouting at her and asking what she was doing and flinched a bit when she heard someone voice her mama’s imaginary thoughts. Not daring to move until she felt Tock beside her (she had no desire to fall off) she latched onto the others arm and glared in a downwards direction. “And I’m supposed to blind?” she muttered before calling down, “We are examining the roof obviously.” Another idea caught her interest and she could resist walking tentatively but with purpose she positioned herself in front of Tock and leaned in close, feeling the other’s chin near her head. She hadn’t realized Tock was so tall. “Not to mention we are on a date, so go away.” Her arms threaded around the other and she laughed delightedly as she heard the sputtering from below and then proceeded to ignore the voice. Reluctantly releasing the other as too not over step her bounds and tease too much. Although she didn’t step far back, she could practically feel the edge of the roof. “What is it you want to expect on the roof? Are roofs made of wood or stone?” her question was cut off though as the voice interrupted once more. “It doesn’t matter what you're doing! Get off my roof!” Vondra blinked in surprise, she hadn’t realized someone actually owned the building they were on. Well, what was the worst he could do? She doubted he would actually come up or maybe he would. She would highly appreciate it if he didn’t because this was turning out to be a much day than it started. Even if she had thought Tock was a petching jerk when they met. |
