Season of Summer, Day 25, 509 AV (Day-Time)
Her stay in Syliras had thus far been short and uneventful. In fact, Ialari was becoming quite annoyed at the prolonged closeness to humans. Although the city itself wasn't all that bad; in fact it was beginning to grow on her, human society was a bit more than she could stand without some sort of break. It was that need for a break that led to her to question around for information on any place quiet and secluded. There were many options from what she could gather; Sukina Geyers, the Sacred Arch Hotspring and a host of other locales most of which were found in the Cobalt Mountains outside of the city. Ialari considered many places but they all brought forth images of more people. She finally settled on Pavi Lake. From the sounds of it, the lake was a little more her style. It was big which meant less chance of crowds and it was said to contain all manner of mysterious things. It also sounded like a great place to gather a few ingredients for future concoctions that Ialari had planned.
She left the White Swan Inn during the early morning hours. She packed everything she may need including her alchemist kits and her basic traveling gear. She wasn't sure how long she would be at the lake thus it was good to be prepared.
The journey would be by foot as Ialari was not all that fond of horses and didn't want to put the mizas forth to pay for passage as she preferred the solitude. She stuck to the main roads and followed directions that she had received from a few different people. She thanked Izurdin that the journey wasn't all that complicated even though traveling during the daylight was her own choice. When she finally came into sight of the lake, she was immediately entranced by its odd beauty. Awe did not last long as thoughts of all the things she may find here took precedence. With a crooked smile on her face, Ialari proceed toward the lake shore. Once she got there, she set down her gear and changed her clothing for greater comfort in the Summer heat. When she was done, Ialari was wearing only a black skirt and her boots along with various straps and belts holding various collection gear. She preferred freedom and comfort while she worked with modesty the last thing on her mind.
