He normally wears this armor when he is traveling or if he knows he will be in a dangerous situation. Because of his calling in life, Syrin is a paranoid man, so he wears his talon sword at all times. Syrin was devastated when he heard of his sisters death from his father and mother. Both told him that she was killed by spirits taking revenge for their families transgressions against them. Syrin is a young man who tries to keep his emotions in check. Learning the discipline was the core of his families teaching. They learned from years of study and experience that spirits can influence people through their emotions, so the House of Heron learned to control strong emotion through years of meditations, but before he could learn these techniques his father and mother were murder by a mob when his farm house was burned to the ground. After his mother and fathers death, Syrin vowed revenge against the spirits involved in his families murder. Today, Syrin is on the run from the enemies of his family. He is a young man who lost everything to spiritual world. Regardless of his fathers teaching, Syrin can't escape the anger seething inside him; however, he tries his best to bury his feeling deep inside him. To everyone else he is a polite and humble young man who loves to engage anyone in conversation. Character History Syrin never considered himself truly alive after his families death. The night his family died. Syrin was out in the field tending to the flock when he saw the torches of the mob coming towards his families farm house. Syrin could only watch in terror as they torched the house while his parents were inside. Syrin started to see the mob spread through the farm burning everything around them. Syrin decided to let the sheep runaway into the hills. Knowing the land around the families farm, Syrin hide in the hills until the night ended. In the morning, Syrin came from his hiding place and walked down to the ruins of his family home. He found the burnt bodies of his parents among the ashes. He decided to bury his parents besides his sister in the family cemetery. When he went back to the house, he salvaged anything of value. Including the families most prized possession a talon sword. Syrin's father taught him how to wield the exotic sword in his youth. Knowing his son will be using it as a spiritualist. Ever since the age of eighteen, Syrin been on the run from his families supernatural enemies. He tries to avoid civilization as much of possible, but when he does come to a city normally during the fall and winter. He tends to stay to himself never getting to close to anyone, but the two years on road or the wilderness made him miss having a place to call home. His only traveling companion is his horse named Sapphire.
