Race: Human Age : 20 years old born on the 19th of fall Gender: Female Appearance & Personality Fade has very big round eyes and ash blond almost white hair. Her nose is straight. Her face is extremely angular with full lips. Her skin is pale and her fingers are long and thin. A any contortionist she is very light and of medium height and thin. Fade is also ambidextrous. She wears a light dress with a red ribbon around her waist and she keeps her contortionist costume in a brown leather bag with her personal items. The costume consists in a white leotard and a delicate white cloth mask which she seldom uses but keeps it. Fade has an extreme character. She is known for having mood jumps: from kindness she can pass to rage in a split second. She can be very cold and detached but her mood shifts easily. This abilty helps her fight off the compulsions when she accidentaly touches somebody, she pushes them aside. Her Ranuri is just under her collarbone. History She was born in a circus and she never knew her mother, her father though was servant of the owner of the circus and thus she became automatically a slave. Her father never talked about her mother, in fact he seldom talked at all. He didnt play an important part in her life aslo because he died when she was 14. She performed as a contortionist: Fade is uncannily bendy. Performing and training where a type of getaway from her usual slaves life so she trained whenever she could. An important part in her earlier years was played by Ash a scullery boy who followed the circus for some time, he became her only friend regardless of their age difference. He was the closest thing she ever got to a brother. Her life was painful: she had to work by day, perform and pleasure by night. Everyday she woke up with new pains streaking up her lean body. When she was 17 her life changed when she got a gnosis mark from Nikali and her life went on changing until one day the circus failed after the owner fell ill, alone she ran away quickly without looking back.She is alone, death claimed all the people she knew, her parents and her owner.

This gnosis gives them a unique appeal or allure that people (of either sex) are drawn to inexplicably. They tend to be trusted more easily than others would be. People find them good listeners, while they have the ability to pick out the actual ‘trouble’ when someone confides a problem to them. Their gift, Ranuri, allows them to have a sense what the other person needs are regardless of what sort of need it is. This can be something as simple as a few hours of helping an elderly woman plant her spring flowers to knowing exactly what a partner’s preference is in a physical relationship. Above that, they can augment the pleasure a person feels in preforming a needed task, be it the same planting or mutual physical contact. Ranuri have a knack for being excellent salesmen because they tend to know immediately upon a handshake what a customer is looking for (whether the customer knows it or not). And they have a knack for making mutually profitable trades and arrangements of all kinds. At this level, Ranuri only works when the mark bearer is in direct contact (as in touching skin to skin) with the person who’s needs they seek to know. Casual contact, such as being brushed accidentally in a crowded market can be agony to a Ranuri because they are hit with wave upon wave of needs they feel compelled to preform. A Ranuri can resist these urges, but it takes a strong mental capacity. A Ranuri who is marked is restricted to providing for the needs of one individual at a time.
