Time Stamp: Noon, Day 40, Summer, 512AV
Location: Nature's Nuture

Double checking the map the guard gave her, Iosha looks up at her surroundings and notices the beautiful white homes of the medical pedal. She gives herself a slight smile of satisfaction when she realizes she found her destination. She carefully folds up her map and places it in her pocket. Feeling the anxiety start to build in her stomach, she makes her way to the building label Nature's Nuture in common. Walking to the building, she notices the fancy wood workmanship under feet and even the white houses blend perfectly with the natural surrounding. She adjusts her bow and quiver on her back and makes her way to the door. Before she enters the building, she takes a deep breath and puts on her best smile. Some advice her mother told her while helping her in her flower business. She pulls down her hood, and runs a hand through her hair, and says to herself, “It is now or never, Iosha.” With saying that she opens the door and walks into the clinic.

As Iosha enters the clinic, she notices it is less of a clinic and more of hospital. Looking around the waiting room, she notices there isn't anywhere to sit. While looking around the waiting room, Iosha notices the patients are mostly standing unless they were injured or sick. Then they are either sitting in chairs or sitting on the floor. Iosha frowns to herself wondering what happened to these people that the waiting room of the hospital is completely full. Also she notices the majority of the people standing are female Jamoura. A woman bumps into her and says politely in common, “I am sorry. Please excuse me.” Iosha looks around at the voice and sees a young Jamoura woman. Iosha gives her a polite nod and says to her in a soft voice, “No, it is my fault. I shouldn't be standing in front of the door.”

Iosha decides to move to the receptionist desk, and she sees a male Jamoura behind the desk. He looks up at her and hands her sheet of paper, pen, and says in a dry voice, “Fill out all the questions to your best of your ability. Once you filled out the information find a place to stand. The doctors should be able to see you shortly.” Iosha flashes him a smile. Knowing everything she just saw coming into the building this response from the receptionist was clearly rehearsed. By the looks of the crowd, the wait is probably hours not minutes. Luckily today, Iosha is not a patient. Again, she looks at receptionist and says in a soft voice, “Actually, I am looking for employment in your hospital. I have some skill in the healing arts.” The receptionist nods and looks her over. His eyes stop on her sword and her bow, and he observes with a grin, “You are quite heavily armed for a healer. What is your name?”

Iosha blushes slightly at her stupidity. Once she arrived in the city, she was to captivated by the natural beauty of the city. She totally forgot to change her cloths and put away her things before looking for employment. She swallows nervously and says to him, “My name is Iosha Moonchaser...and I kind of just arrived in your city today.” The Jamoura laughs out loud and says to her, “Iosha, I am not here to judge. I was just observing. I will let Lixue know your here for a interview. By the way, you should wipe the dirt from your forehead. Just a friendly word of advice.” Iosha instantly turns red and starts wiping her forehead. Thinking to herself that she is a complete mess. The receptionist turns to a female assistant and tell her find Lixue. Iosha turns around and asks in quiet voice, “Do you have a rest room?” The Jamoura just points to the room off to the left and says to her, “Relax. You'll do fine, Iosha.” Iosha bites her lip nervously and nods to him than she flees to the restroom door.

[Nature's Nuture] A New Beginning (Lixue, Cinna)

Postby Cinna on August 9th, 2012, 2:19 am

Hethe was in his library once again, busily studying his notes in his notebook over his latest research project. That man....Asher was his name? While helping him with his therapy, was also helping him with his research project, easily able to get the samples that Hethe needed since Hethe could not physically do it himself. He wasn't able to get much studying done with all the influx of patients today, most of them patients who needed checkups to make sure that their effects from the fog were fully gone. Some seemed to have been heavily affected by it, and the expecting mothers needed to be checked as well.

He was soon interrupted from his thoughts by one of the assistants knocking on his door and entering, and he turned to find a young female Jamoura in the doorway. "I'm sorry to disturb you once again Hethe but Lixue was busy with a patient as well as S'Vanka, so I came looking for you. There is a young woman here looking for a job,"she said, moving out of the doorway's entrance as he got up from his chair. He refused to grab his cane, no matter how much his muscles protested. He nodded to the young female and followed her out into the hall, already thinking of the necessary questions that he needed to ask. If the woman did not have the skills for the job then he would apprentice her to Lixue, she seemed to have a way with teaching others.

He slowly made his way down the hallway, so deep into his thoughts that he did not pay attention to where he was going and ended up running smack into a young woman. He grunted at the impact, the woman falling into a heap in front of him as his body protested at the hit. He shook his head and looked down, reaching out and helping the woman to her feet as he shifted his feet in embarrassment. "I am terribly sorry miss, that was rude of me. I seem to have been lost in my own thoughts,"he said quietly, looking the woman up and down. "You aren't hurt are you?" He didn't recognize her and briefly wondered if this was the same woman that wanted a job.....what a great first meeting.

[Nature's Nuture] A New Beginning (Cinna)

Looking at the mirror, Iosha pulls a twig from her hair and she makes a face of disgust at her appearance. Normally she hasn't had the need to fuss of her appearance, but today she needed job and money if she was going to make a new home in the Spires. She cups her hands and dips it into the wash basin filled with water. She brings the water to her face and splashes it over her dirty skin. He wipes her with a rag and gives herself a wary smile and thinks to herself, “A city in the trees, I will have to tell my mother and grandmother when I get back to Mura.” She runs a hand through her pale blond hair and straightens her quiver, short bow, and sword. She steps back from the mirror, looks at herself, and says quietly to herself, “You look like a mercenary Io not a healer. Lets get this over with.” She shrugs at the quick observation of herself, opens the door, and walks out into the hallway.

When Iosha comes out of the bathroom, she starts thinking about her future home and her plans for her house. Looking forward to starting a garden of her own, Iosha starts planning her garden down to the seeds she will plant. Suddenly, she walks straight into a older man with a cane. Unfortunately for her, she is wearing two much equipment for her small body to handle, and she stumbles backwards after her impact with the man and falls backward onto the floor. Her face turning red, she sits their for a moment before looking up at the man. He starts apologizing about his carelessness, and she just shakes her head knowing she was partially at blame for this accident too. She slowly starts to get to her feet and says quietly to the man, “Don't blame yourself sir if I wasn't lost in my own little world. I would have notice you. Don't worry yourself about me, sir. I am not hurt at all.”

She stands up straight and dusts herself of and looks at the old man. She notices him wearing a white lap coat and holding a clipboard. Putting two and two together, she figures this man was a doctor at this clinic. She bites her lip nervously and runs a hand through her hair, “Excuse me I am Iosha Moonchaser. I am looking for employment at your clinic. Would you know who I would talk to about possible job in the clinic?” She figures with the crowd outside in the waiting room. She better ask her question quickly before he sees to a patient. She adjusts her quiver, her long sword, and waits for his reply.

[Nature's Nuture] A New Beginning (Cinna)

Postby Cinna on August 25th, 2012, 12:19 am

It was just as he had thought, this was the same woman who was seeking employment here. Well this was rather embarrassing. Hethe wasn't exactly the most talkative Jamoura, but he did feel that being polite was always important, no matter the situation. "Again I am terribly sorry, running into a Jamoura isn't the best way to start the day I suppose,"he said with a slight smile and an embarrassed shuffle of his feet. "And there is no need for sir, my name is Hethe, nothing more." He then listened to her speak as she dusted herself off, glancing and noticing that there were several patients in the waiting room wishing to be seen.

He then turned back to his guide and leaned closer to her. "There seems to be several people out there waiting Masha, could you go and see that they are taken care of while I speak with this young woman?"he asked her quietly, waiting for her quick nod before turning back to the young woman. "It is a pleasure to meet you Iosha, and I am pleased to know that you wish to find employment here. I am one of the founders here at Nature's Nurture, so perhaps it is a good thing that we ran into each other," he said with a small smile, gesturing for her to follow him back down the hallway to his study.

Once there, he sat down in one of the chairs with a sigh, gesturing for her to do the same before he got down to business. "As you can see, we treat many patients here at the clinic, and sometimes there simply isn't enough help to go around. It is a round the clock job with long hours, but it is rewarding just the same. Now, there are several positions that I can offer you, depending on what your skills are.....so I believe the best question for me to ask you right now is, what can you offer us here at Nature's Nurture?"

[Nature's Nuture] A New Beginning (Cinna)

Postby Iosha on August 25th, 2012, 4:01 am

Iosha relaxes a bit at the kindness and welcoming nature Hethe. Surprisingly, all the Jamoura and the other citizens of the Spires were welcoming of new guests. She enjoyed that trait during he stay in Vantha and now in the Spires. It must be a cold weather trait. She sees the Jamoura gesture her to follow him to his study. She follows him into the study, and she smiles as he gestures to a chair at the front of desk. Listening to everything Hethe had to say about the job, Iosha nods to him in understanding. She starts taking off her quiver, short bow, and unstraps her sword at her side. She gives him a weak smile and says to him, “Sorry, I just came to the city this morning, and I got a little distracted by the beauty of your city to acquire a room for the night.” Normally, she a lot more reserved emotionally, but the prospect of starting a new life in medicine in a city in the trees excites her greatly. Once everything is off her person, she sits in the chair and continues with a smile, “I would of made myself a tad more presentable before looking for a job, but my mind was kind of in La La land when I made the decision to stay in the Spires.” Suddenly, She blushes thinking she said way too much already.

Iosha puts her hands in her lap and sits straight in her chair, and she gives him a small smile and answers his question, “Hethe the best way to describe me is a professional student. Most of my childhood, I was either studying the arcane arts with my grandmother, or I had my nose in the book in the Medical Library in Mura. Honestly, I been studying medicine for fifteen years now, but all my knowledge of medicine is mostly academic. I never got the hand on experience because when I came of age of adulthood, wanderlust kind of took a hold of me for the last two years.” She pulls a stray bang from her face, and she continues, “During my studies in the medical library and my frequent visit to Rak'Keli temple. I think the goddess took pity on me and gave me this gift.” She lifts up her right from her lap and puts her right arm on the desk revealing her gnosis mark of healing. She smiles at the mark and back to him, “I think I am going to have to visit Rak'Keli temple more often, but I can cure minor wounds, headaches, and maybe the cold. I haven't tested it yet, but I have enough faith in my goddess that if she wanted me to cure a cold, she would grant me her power.”

She brings back her hand and sets it in her lap and says to him, “Because my life as a student I am used to working well into the night. Hethe this is a exciting opportunity for me, and I will listen and learn anything your staff tells me about medicine. It might take me practice to learn the procedures, but I will get them eventually.”

[Nature's Nuture] A New Beginning (Cinna)

Postby Cinna on September 18th, 2012, 12:36 am

Hethe silently appraised the woman in front of him, listening to her patiently with little complaint. She seemed genuine enough, and obviously a newcomer who was anxious to make this place her home...at least for a little while. Hethe could not blame her for that. He also could not blame her for looking for work, seeing as they desperately needed more healers in the aftermath of the fog. Also all of the construction that was going on the city, the clinic had seen and up rise in patients coming in with ailments ranging from minor gashes to broken bones. The clinic couldn't keep up with them all.

He also appreciated the fact that she had studied, which made the decision easier for him. She had knowledge, and she was clever, so she was most likely to know what to do in most situations. "Well Iosha,"he began, his eyes widening in surprise at the mark on her arm. Surely if the Goddess graced the woman in front of him, then surely he could provide work for her? "It is not often that I see the mark of the Goddess on people who are looking for work here, that is a good sign to me. There are many books here at your disposal as well, so you will always have your questions answered,"he said, gesturing to the many shelves full of medical knowledge. Perhaps he would give her a book to read every now and then to improve her knowledge.

"You seem up to the task Iosha, and I can certainly find a place for you here. I will have you work closely with myself and S'Vanka as well as the other doctors here to help improve your hands on training, because if one is honest....treating patients rarely goes by the books,"he said with a faint smile, intrigued to see what she would be able to do. "I will start you off as a healer, seeing as you are fully qualified to be that, and as you progress, you can become a full fledged doctor here." He then got up from his chair, reaching out to pull her to her feet and grasp her hand warmly. "So welcome to our city Iosha, and welcome to Nature's Nurture. Come, and I will show you around the facility." He waited for her to grab her things and ushered her out the door, patiently explaining how the clinic worked.
