Home of the Konti people, this ivory city is built of native konti stone half in and half out of the sea. Its borders touch the Silverwood, and stretch upwards towards Silver Lake, home of the infamous konti vision water. [Lore]
The Taviasa, home to the city manager, her three secretaries and several officials, is located near the harbor, so that every new visitor will immediately spot it while walking into the city. It is a huge, impressing building made of white stone and painted with mythological scenes in pastel colors—like everything else in Mura. It's special trademark, however, is the dome-shaped roof made of milky white glass. A pathway and short stairway framed by delicately carved columns leads to double doors with pale violet glass doorknobs. The garden that surrounds the whole building is popular for growing all kinds of medicinal herbs of which a significant amount is bought for laboratory usage by the Opal Temple.
The first room is decorated with three beautiful paintings of the typical Mural architecture gracing the walls and a white plant spreading it's thin branches and leaves from the back corner over the floor and counter behind which the work desk of the manager's third secretary is situated. After the visitor has stated their request and been given a sheet with a number and a few explaining lines on it, they will be directed through an open door and to one of the stairways—either in right, left or straight forward direction. The whole building possesses high ceilings and beautiful, brightly painted glass windows letting in as much daylight as possible. The huge ballroom right under the half-round roof gets transformed into a meeting and discussion room every now and then – but only in cases of extreme importance or difficulty. Usually it is used for noble guests merging with the local wealthy, and balls are held almost frequently.
In general the Taviasa exists to help citizens with public concerns and problems as well as to assist strangers at finding a home, job or other location. The manager herself, an elderly woman with long, braided hair and an understanding, slightly crinkled face, usually handles problems and concerns of greater value to the whole city. She also welcomes important visitors and invites them to stay at one of various individually decorated VIP suites. Ordinary foreigners trying to find a home or job are usually directed to the second or first secretary.
The known rivaly between these two women causes a lot of gossip spread throughout the whole city by other officials and the staff. Nevertheless each one greets visitors directed to them with a polite smile and the obligatory question of how they can be of help.
Her heart-shaped face and sky blue eyes make her a natural beauty, although she almost never uses any skin creams or other products Miawen and Daizoli favor. Her built is a bit shorter and curvier than most Konti’s which is usually regarded as attractive by other races, especially humans. Her pale ivory hair reaches her shoulder blades when falling loosely, but she often collects it in a ponytail so it doesn’t disturb her at work.
While working at the Taviasa she behaves calm and friendly, but is a bit of a perfectionist. Since her clumsiness prevents her from doing greater things, she is stuck at the position of the least secretary for quite some time – which she finds very depressing– and knows the Taviasa and its staff in and out.
The young third secretary is the younger sister of Silene Sa’nanathy who owns the House of Glass, and constantly worried about her elder sister. Thus she wants to help her by earning enough money to not only educate her daughter, but also share with Silene. However, she subconsciously experiences a part of her sister’s extreme bad luck. Sometimes she falls into a state of depression because her family and work situation both seem very hopeless.

She and Daizoli grew up together, although they weren’t related by blood. Miawen’s personality is hugely different from Daizoli’s: She is extroverted, likes to invent little stories about her neighbors and acquaintances and always needs someone to listen to her. When things don’t work out like she has expected, she gets angry very quickly. Her mood can change from one second to another – from happy to bad, and vice versa. Some say that this is the reason why she is the second in rank, others think that her cheerfulness suits the position of a secretary very well.
Physically she looks rather childish, possessing big pale green eyes and long, curly hair. Others are tempted not to take her seriously, because they have a hard time distinguishing whether her words are actually serious or not. Her body and hands are always in motion, her gestures are very expressive and she smiles and grimaces a lot.
In fact, she wanted to become an actress in her early childhood days but never started working towards that goal. Instead, she took the same path Daizoli chose and now tries to have more success than her.
While she grew up with Miawen, Daizoli isn’t as extroverted and eccentric as her arch rival. She likes to think things over, is always calm and collected and prefers to keep her feelings and thoughts to herself. If provoced, she usually manages not to lose control. Miawen is the only person able to anger her so much that she bursts into an uncontrollable, very destructive rage.
Although she is rather tall for a Konti, her trademarks are the bangs of pale, straight hair which nearly cover her eyes when she is looking down. Her eyes are deep, dark sees of brown with green sparkles in the sunlight.
During childhood, she constantly struggled with her terrible temper, and while trying to find work that suited her, nobody approved of her serving customers. She has an opinion about everyone and everything, but had to control what she was saying and doing. After having a hard time finding an employer, Nai’ra eventually gave her a chance and taught her to control her temper. Since then she can only be annoyed by Miawen who mirrored her in becoming secretary at the Taviasa.

Nai’ra is aged around 200 years, although she appears as youthful and fresh as every Konti. However, a careful observer might recognize slight crinkles around her bright eyes that are colored like the evening sun. Her hair is usually collected in a single, long braid to keep it out of her friendly, moon-shaped face while working. She is respected for her relaxed behavior, able to calm enraged parties down and draw reasonable conclusions. Because of her love for Mura and its inhabitants she strives for a peaceful and harmonic community.
Nai’ra believes that the tragedy a few years ago inspired her to apply for this position. Her mother, grandmother and she Nai’ra herself became ill with an incurable illness, and nobody seemed to be able to help them. In the end Nai’ra survived while her beloved mom and gran passed away. The long weeks of illness and the shock over their deaths made her strong, and now she knows what she wants and how to achieve it – although she fears illness and studies medicine and herbs since then.

"Shard by shard she rearranges the world. It looks the same, she says, but it is not. It looks as they expect, but it is not." Gregory Maguire, "Wicked"
His steps sure and confident, he continued to pace forward, his eyes settling on the beautiful konti at the desk before turning to briefly glance at the mural's that so beautified the wall. Constantly this city had him in awe of it's beauty while subtly reminding him of the heavens above that once his eyes had graced for a time. It was odd to feel such safeness anywhere like the isle seemed to radiate, as if the whole island itself went untouched by the ravages of the world splitting open, or at least opted out of their fair share of danger. The natives here, gorgeous women the likes that he had never seen before seemed to reflect that peace their island so commanded, and it very well influenced their architecture as well. One could spend their whole lives on the isle had they the mind for it he expected, and live a long life for it, albeit a bit boring after a time. He'd come here though to relax and get his mind off of things, perhaps even formally establish himself if he was lucky which is why he made a immediate line for the building as soon as he found the chance.
Faraluun blinked as he looked back at the konti woman, and returned a gentle smile. "I seek work of some sort if you have any"
"Work..Oh yes there is plenty of that. If you want healing there are paid apprenticeships at the Temple. Seek out Lym she could always use a helping hand. The pay is..." The woman then rustled some paperwork about and then just sighed a little unable to find anything.
"Well pay is variable, but she will also teach you as well. Just head to the North East follow the main road and you will hit the temple dead on. Ask for Lym she will assist you there."
Naeya's first day in Mura had consisted solely of getting herself settled into the Pearl Divers Inn. After putting away her few possessions and eating a small meal provided by the inn, she had fallen into a deep, dreamless slumber. It wasn't until she woke up at noon the next day, feeling much more exuberant, that she realized she'd been suffering from an insidious case of traveller's fatigue. The murky cloud that had formerly inhabited her mind was almost completely lifted.
Now, halfway through the afternoon, Naeya found herself at the front desk of the Taviasa. Pulling off the hood of her long, white cloak (the autumn air had been crisp when she'd left the inn), she smiled hesitantly at the desk's clerk.
"My name is Naeya Ti'av," she began, speaking slower than usual in case the clerk didn't understand the language well. Since Naeya herself knew very little Kontinese, her words were spoken in the Common tongue. "I'm hoping to see if you know of any work available in Mura, as I'll be here until..." At this, she paused and took a moment to think. "Until the winter season, at very least."
She fiddled with the jade necklace around her neck, causing the silver bracelets on her wrist to jingle together. "In Riverfall, my home, I was fairly competent at my jewelcrafting trade," she offered in an effort to provide the clerk with some background information on herself. "I also have a little skill in medicine, though not much, if there are no opportunities for a gemcutter." Naeya trailed off, waiting for the clerk to respond to her inquiry.
“A jewelcrafter…” She said with a smile as she pondered through all the possibilities in her mind. There was one person she could send this woman to…
“Fire and Ice Jewelers…you are looking for Kaytil…that is if you can find her. She is likely not there but is out and about on one of her walks. You may have to look for her.”The woman said with a smile as she nodded. “But I believe you will find the two of you have much in common. A good fit if I do say so myself.”
