The Akalak have the Cerulean and there are numerous other groups that can be called 'ninjas' or ninjalike. I'm pretty sure that counts as real ninjas. I loved the emoicon argument. That sounded pretty solid to me.

Very well, but pirates are revered by the Pastafarians, the church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster who celebrate the "Talk like a pirate" day as an important holiday. As far as I am aware, there are no religions supporting ninjas, nor "Talk like a ninja" days.

Foul! I cry foul on the new icon! Sides.. its blue... it doens't even have a sword or rum... and its just got a fruity little wave. Its not even a parade wave. Who's heard of pirates waving?

Dec 5th is Day of the Ninja. You just have talk like a pirate day. We get to act like Ninja's all day Dec 5th.

national ninja day is dec/5 ok, some of you may remember that last year was the first designation of the annual holliday, "National Day of the Ninja" or ninja day for short.
however some of you who have never heard of it before may be at a loss as to what kind of celebratory things one should do on such a day. Here are a few of my suggestions.

~ take some pictures of you and your friends performing some crazy ninja antics, and put them in ninja day cards:stealthily deliver these to friends, family, co workers, etc.

~get your whole ninja crew (in full ninja array) and go on down to the local sushi bar/kyoto express/japanese steakhouse and enjoy a nice meal, the staff will love your enthusiasm (or run for their lives) bring a camera for extra fun

~get together at someone's house and watch some good ol fashioned ninja movies, you can make ninja burgers for munchin'

~make sure you viciously attack everyone you see!

those are just a few suggestions for a great Ninja day- but whatever you do, try and get the word out there, and help us make this a SWEET ASS holliday, now that those pirates have their own holliday we have to fight back.
Also remember to share your totally awesome ninja pics, and stories the next day!

Now, what does the have to do with anything you may ask. People who are inspired kick more ass. It's proven. Even though that song hasn't existed for a while, there are tons that have. A Pirates Life for Me has actually existed for a while. Basically, if you're inspired you kick much more ass than some one who isn't it. Songs inspire people. Put two and two together people.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be enjoying some music and making a total ass of myself.

Why am I the only one defending the coolness of Ninjas? Seriously people. SERIOUSLY?!

I find the ninja song far more appealing. Especially after a bunch of drunk pirates have been singing alllllllll night long. The same song. Over and over and over again.

We prefer the term "Joyous Tavern Folk".

Now, rum, whores and songs. That's what we pirates have. The inspire us pirates. What inspires you ninjas?

Plus, we pirates have phrases we use even today. Such as "ARRRRRRRR!!!" or "Shiver me timbers!"

Is there anything a ninja ever said that we say today? And no, silence is not a freaking phrase! Neither is it a song!
