1st of Winter, 513 AV, around 10 PM.
Severus walked up to the Main Gates of Slyrias, impressed by the sheer size of the outside walls. Quite different from the cities he had previously been to on his adventures. The guards at the entrance stopped him and asked him to state his business.
"I am a traveler looking to take up residence in this town, for how long it is not quite clear." He answered them. " Would you mind telling me the directions to a inn?" The guards gave him directions, telling him to follow the road until he got to the castle, the inn was directly beside it he couldn't miss it.
He nodded at the guards in recognition of their help and proceeded to walk inside. As the outside of the city itself was awe-inspiring to him, the inside was even more so. " Certainly didn't have anything like this in Wind Reach" he said to himself.
He walked for a while before reaching the castle and noticing the sign for the White Swan Inn. He went inside and looked around for someone he could get a room from. Noticing a woman that appeared to be in charge of things, he assumed was the owner, at the front desk he walked up and inquired their prices.
He handed the woman enough gold mizan for lodging for a month, 276 Gold Mizan to be exact. The woman handed him a iron key he assumed went to his room door and motioned for him to follow her so she could show him where his room was.
They walked in silence to his room, when they reached it the woman opened the door for him, smiled, and told him to enjoy his stay before walking off.
He went inside, closing the door behind him. The room was actually quite nice containing a separate room for dining or just for sitting down to relax after a hard day, the bedroom was separated off from the living area, which is exactly where he was headed.
Walking over to his bed he sat down on it to pull off his boots. He sat them beside the bed and laid his cloak over the edge of it. He lied on the bed for a while thinking about his journey and where it had bring him thus far, eventually drifting into sleep..
