[OOC] Welcome To The 2012 Mizahar NaNoWriMo Forum!

Welcome Mizaharians!

As November 2012 comes to pass the whole of Mizahar is gearing up to participate in our second annual Mizahar NaNoWriMo. What is this? Please see the Announcement that Tarot wrote in the News Around The Campfire Forum. NaNoWriMo 2012, Mizahar Style. Last year we had thirteen winners. Our highest word count was 135890! I would love to see the number of 50,000 word finishers double this year and someone dethrone our current reigning winner - Eridanus. So start thinking about your thread goals now, get hooked up with people that will write with you, and stock lots of caffeine and snacks to get you through the grueling hours of finger pounding and heart stopping adventure.

In anticipation of a fresh start this year, I've cleaned out and archived this forum so we can all post fresh. Feel free to use it as you see fit. Lots of people in the past have posted tips, hints, and even a fun picture thread of 'before' and 'after' NaNo pics. You can look at these threads for ideas in the Archive subforum.

As always, feel free to use this thread as you need too. Chat, comment, encourage, boo and hiss those that are writing more than you! Together we can all come across the finish line together! So come on in, sound off, and lets get psyched up for NaNo!

I am very excited for this honestly. This is a good opportunity for me to finish the threads I am currently in( sorry to all my slow threads @_@) and pound out more development for Imass. I also love how the epic quest coincides with the nanowrimo. Looks like I will be spending most of my nano time on the quest. It is imperative syliras wins with style and little zealot drama!

I will also be working on my riverfall flashbacks with naeya especially. Got to hammer out so much stuff, this will be exciting. I might even be motivated to make a scrapbook! Hahah

I think you are all awesome and positive! Let's keep ourselves motivated baby!

You bet I'll be ready and waiting at my keyboard at 11:59 pm tomorrow to get started. No procrastinating on NaNo for me this year! Also I am very excited to make an Avanthal themed calendar. It's gunna happen.

I am starting off strong for my first annual Mizaro NaNo contest! Just finished a 3k plus word solo and I am working on all my other replies right now!

How's everyone else's first day coming?

not that well :/ did a single post and am working on a second one... no other replies to work on and I'm dreadfully slow with solo's T__T

Good for you Imass! Im working on replies right now~ so far a 600 and about a 700 word reply. Not so strong yet, but we will see when I run out of threads to reply to and have to work on all my solos that I started... I have some from last year O.o

Coren, Im sure people will reply to you

This is NaNo season after all! I hope they keep up with you

When Tarot did the standings I hadn't done much writing, but during the night I ploughed through some threads and think I went over 2 K - so basically, it could be worse at this point XD
