Fall 37th, AV 512, 16th Bell 18th Chime

Fall 37th, AV 512, 16th Bell 18th Chime

The Fall season, the transitional time from hot to cold. From the scorching heat of summer to the freezing depths of winter. One thing remains at these times is how the tavern's always seem to have customers at all hours of the day, the only difference is the increase of outsiders as they travel from one place to another thanks to moderately cool weather.

Kreig was feeling guilty once more, the previous summer had been unkind to the poor brawler who really needs a nice little bath, surprisingly his clothes aren't as bad. He spent some days training with the dragoons and others times he spend searching for trouble, anything to help him forget his sin.

He cradled a mug of ale, looking at its contents like its supposed to him the secrets for everything, as if it were a window that saw through the the future and said future would tell him everything would be okay..... If it were only so easy.

The Tavern itself was somewhat crowded today, some were relaxing from the their jobs which offered long hours and little pay, even compared to other cities with similar occupations. Others were worried, afraid of the recent string murders that has been plaguing the cities. Although this city of scum and disease has quite a deaths, this one was different as its being done by one person who leaves a mark of his presence near the scene of his misdeeds.

But Kreig did not concern himself with that, his eyes simply darted around the room then looked back into his mug ale, which he then promptly gulped down as if it were her last drink... But in truth it wasn't and his guilt would still be nagging at his mind, weighing on his heart till it falls and leaves a void in its place. At the moment, he needs a distraction, something to keep his mind off his worries. Of course, waiting around for something to happen is surprisingly common place....wonder why?

Distractions Wanted (Imass)

Postby Imass on October 25th, 2012, 6:12 pm

Ser Imass was walking towards the tavern doors in a powerful stride. All he could think about was fighting. His envisioned barreling a gauntleted fist into the face of a shit stained drunkard. He was a frustrated warrior and the easiest solution for frustration was aggression. He honestly knew it wouldn't solve any of his problems, but it would sure make him feel better.

Behind the grim Akalak strode two knightly friends who wanted to see the Sunberth night-life too; a tall human with a thick beard and a wild looking drykas with a clean shaven face. All three of them where garbed in padded surcoats, gauntlets, and swords. They did not wear the Syliran colors now, for that would be incredibly foolish in Sunberth.

Ser Imass was the first one to the door. Pushing it open with one overbearing slap, the three hundred pound Akalak stood a head above most people in the bar. His golden eyes scanned the tavern in empty hatred. Everyone could see that he was ready for a fight. Taking a big breathe, he smelling the pungent air. The tavern was nothing like the ones back in Syliras or even Zeltiva. This one was horrid. It smelled like feces, urine, vomit, blood, sex, and alcohol. It was a den of despair, but none-the-less it would be the perfect place to find someone willing for a bout.

Ser Imass walked towards the bartender. Amazingly most of the people barely paid him any heed. He did get several curious eyes, but not much attention. Nobody cared about Knights here and no one even thought twice he was a Knight. They probably saw clean surcoats and nicely trimmed hair and thought rich slavers.

Removing his sword belt he placed his weapon on the counter of the bar loudly, hoping to get people's attention. Only a few people turned, but for a moment. Imass fumed. Didn't anyone care who he was? Three men just walked into the tavern armed to the teeth. The Knight looked around the bar for a moment and studied the character... that is when he noticed everyone was armed here.

He laughed out loud as the other two Knights ordered a drink. Everyone fancies themselves a warrior here, huh?

Ser Imass banged his fist on the counter even louder now and announced to the tavern in a loud, harsh Tukant accent, "My friends and I are Syliran Knights! We have come to drink at your filthy tavern! If you have a problem with this -- if you want drama -- then pop it off now!!" Imass raised gauntleted fists and waited for the first person to swing on him. The two other Knights began to remove their long sword belts for the brawl.

Suddenly an empty bottle flew through the air...

Distractions Wanted (Imass)

Postby Kreig Messer on October 25th, 2012, 9:25 pm

Kreig had been quiet so far, content at burning a hole in his now empty mug. Of course, then came some blue Neanderthal i, acting all high and mighty "He is annoying" Kreig said quietly to himself as he looked at the the other two besides the blue one, they looked just as annoying..... They were a much needed distraction.

'He insults my favourite little watering hole' Under the influence of the drink he could feel his anger quickening 'Ain't as nice as the blue gent I met before either, even if they are wearing the same kind of armor' The blue one in particular looked like he was searching for a battle, causing up trouble just for that, raising their fists and removing their weapons

'Bunch of idiots they are' They would attempt to cause a fight with such amateurish words, none moved to battle as these idiots simply stood there waiting for one. Kreig looked around to see if anyone would do so and noted an empty bottle dropped on the floor, he calmly picked and gave it a wild throw. The bottle simply flew in the air as it missed the three buffoons and slammed the wall next to them.

" I spy with my little eye something that begins with an I" Said Kreig as he lazily stood up, suddenly feeling the need to release his aggression, sliding his own gauntlets on his fists " Gents, care to tell me what it is?" He asked the other patrons, who were all too happy to oblige with a plethora of insulting words that began with the letter 'I'

"I swear gents with minds as small as yours would lose their lovely posessions by now, their corpse hanging from the gallows, long disfigured with the only thing remaining to identify you was your bloody height" He was now face to face with the blue buffoon, his eyes flashing with a bit of anger. He cracked his knuckles and flexed his shoulders "I keep forgetting how tall you Akalaks are.....yet surprisingly, you're quite short for one. What? Your mother didn't have enough milk in her bosom to nurse you with?" To be fair buffoon was average in height for his people. And finallt to add a little more insult he threw one of the few little insults he knew in tukant....which was just calling him an idiot... then proceeded to attempt to kick him in the groin.

Distractions Wanted (Imass)

Postby Imass on October 29th, 2012, 1:22 am

The empty bottle flew over their heads and smashed against a wall. Imass didn't look to see where the bottle hit, but rather his eyes went directly to a drunkard who was sitting further along in the bar. He slipped on his gauntlets and began a string of insults, which did not amuse Ser Imass.

The Knight was of few words this moment and all he wanted to do was fight. Unfortunately he could not throw the first blow. He did not know Sunberths social norms and after his blunders in Zeltiva, he did not want to cause any ripples. If he was to fight anyone, it would be his opponent to throw the first strike. Reluctantly, he listened as the drunkard lazily walked over.

Suddenly, the man called him an idiot in Tukant. The Knight grimaced at the insult, but almost immediately the drunk was on him. In fact, he almost caught the Akalak by surprise when he swung a foot at Imass' groin.

The Akalak accepted the kick and as instinct dictated, he made a grab at the man's leg with both arms. He felt his stomach drop from the kick in the balls, but the padded surcoat had protected most of the impact. Regardless, the pain wouldn't stop his counter attack.

Stepping forward into his opponent's frame, he held onto his leg while trusting his hips into the man's groin. Pushing forward with his feet, he bore all three hundred pounds on Kreig's smaller frame and tackled him into the floor with a loud bang.

He felt a barrel of attacks hit him, so he buried his face into Krieg's chest and started the ground game. Imass would man handle the drunk on the floor. He would mount him like a true Akalak and show him what it meant to be dominated.

The struggle began between Imass and Kreig. The other two Knight's stood over the scene and boxed anyone who dared approach.

The tavern erupted!

Distractions Wanted (Imass)

'Oh How Lovely' Thought the brawler as the heavy weight Akalak grabbed his leg, proceeded to get closer to Kreig and then brought his full weight on the brawler 'BY DIRA!' He thought mentally as he fell on his back with a three hundred pound blue ignoramus on him. Needless to say 'IT HURT!' Ahhhh but the anger within him and his slight drunkenness numbed the pain somewhat.

His hands were still free thankfully, he should've truly dealt with the hands first because then Kreig wouldn't be able to do this. With his left he grabbed the Akalak's hair and slipped his right under his face and began to squeeze, wanting to get this blue fool of off him. If he had succeeded in getting his foe partially off his body, he would slip out from underneath and give the fool a powerful left hook to the face, wouldn't be himself if he didn't at least punch something in the face.

But he wouldn't stop there, once he got that he would ty and make every use of it by headbutting the Akalak then kneeing him in the chest. He wanted to show the Akalak the gull extent of Sunberth's 'Hospitality'.

Distractions Wanted (Imass)

Postby Imass on October 30th, 2012, 4:34 pm

The drunkard was no novice to fighting. He reacted immediately by grabbing a tuft of the Knight's hair and pulling with all his might. The Knight should have kept his face burried in his opponent's chest, but his natural reaction was to lift his chin. Suddenly a gauntleted hand buried itself into Imass' face and began to squeezed. It hurt like hell to be stuck between the strong hands of an experienced brawler; luckily he wasn't poking out one of his eyes yet.

The Knight reacted with pure instinct at first. He released with his right hand, still holding the man's leg with his left. His shot his sword hand up and grabbed the hand that was over his face.

"ARGHHH!" he grunt was he pushed with all his might to free himself of the Brawler's grasp. The sounds of pounding fist could be heard now.

Ser Imass needed to wrench his face free then move to a different position on his body. After another second of agony, he was able to get the gauntleted hand off his face by flinging himself back up. Trusting his hips forward and scrambling ontop of Krieg, Imass fully mounted him.

The Knight immediately started to swing at his opponent, expected the same treatment back. He gave one -- two -- three jabs inside the man's arms, but aimed at his face. After the Knight gave his three jabs then a hook to the right ear.

Ser Imass did not care if Krieg blocked or punched him back, because in the mount position his attack's where more powerful. This succession of mounted attacks would not last long though...

Distractions Wanted (Imass)

Postby Kreig Messer on October 30th, 2012, 5:23 pm

The Akalak was no slouch, as expected from the natural warrior race. The Akalak strength was not exagerated and the Ignoramus' guantleted fists gave Kreig a dose of his own medicine..... it was, as Kreig's slightly drunk mind would put it 'Euphoric'. He was grinning madly, he did not bother to strike back yet with his fists as he used his arms to block the heavy, if somewhat unrefined, punches.

It had been a missed feeling, the joy of combat. He and his foes fighting with no rhyme or reason and simply duke it out to see who is superrior. Even if Kreig had been throwing himself into many a battle the past few months, they never brought him to solace he desire...to solace he needed, the reminder of a simpler time that was lost not too long ago.

After feeling that the his opponents punches had slowed somewhat, he lunged his fists forward with an open palm and grabbed the shoulder of the Akalak's shirt, and pulled roughly to close him in for a strike with a headbutt. If it connected proper the Akalak would be in a dazed state, giving Kreig a chance to get up and give the Akalak a kick to his side and if that the didn't work, there was always the ever popular 'PUNCH HIS FACE IN'

Distractions Wanted (Imass)

Postby Imass on October 31st, 2012, 11:15 pm

Smack, wack, pop!

Ser Imass gave three bone crushing punches to Kreig. Tucking in the tips of his fingers as tightly as possible in the heavy gauntlets, Imass' fists were like rocks of power. The Akalak was a warrior at heart and he did this as second nature. He learned long ago that weak fists meant weak attacks and ultimately a broken hand. Nay, he would hit the man using all his mounted ferocity. The first two jabs hit Kreig dead in the forearms, likely leaving bruises where the plate gauntlets hit.

Not waiting for Kreig to react, Imass pulled his barreled fist back and launched a hook at Kreig's ear. His opponent raised an arm to block, but his punch still partially contacted the human's ear. By the feel of the punch, the Akalak was certain that he got some damage off on the man's head. He at least bloodied the guy's ear or cracked his skull or something!

Suddenly, Kreig's gauntleted hands shot up a grabbed Imass' surcoat at the shoulders. In one quick movement he gave the Akalak a whooping head butt. A flash of white blanked his vision for one moment, then the next he was seeing stars. Everything was happening too fast for the pain to settle in just yet. Dazed and seeing stars, this was the last thing he expected in this situation. He figured that a combatant's number one priority while being full mounted was to get free from the mount, but the drunkard seemed to be alright with just exchanging blows from the position.

Regardless, Imass needed to counter the mightily drunkard as he regained himself. Working on instinct and martial training, he moved his face as far away from Kreig's gauntleted fists as possible. Trusting his hips forward into the man's abdomen, he slid his body up Kreig's torso some more. Digging his heels into the man's sides, Imass plunged forward and shoved his chest into the drunkard's face where his face was free from the man's fists.

The Akalak grabbed the man's head and got ready to attempt a move once his bearings were set straight.

Distractions Wanted (Imass)

Postby Kreig Messer on November 1st, 2012, 2:10 pm

The Blue fool was better than he thought, he had moved further up his chest and well…. It felt quite awkward that he couldn’t reach the idiots face now and had placed his hand on his head. His arms felt sore though and he nipped his ear as he could feel his earing falter a bit. Still he had another target he could exploit if he did not have the head, and that was the arms themselves ‘Snap, crackle, pop…fun sounds’ He thought as he threw his fists wildly at the Akalak’s elbows. He wanted this dolt off of him, striking at his elbows seemed like a good idea to weaken his hold and win a fight.

While his arm were flailing about he moved his legs, trying to get his knees to strike the Akalaks back although it may as well have been a futile idea, still if there was anything he could use he would definitely us it to his advantage. His final weapon, his mouth, simply fired off insults in tukant, at least the few he knew even if it sounded garbled and lost in translation, he would get him off even if it meant breaking his back!

Distractions Wanted (Imass)

Postby Imass on November 5th, 2012, 8:01 pm

Still in the daze the brawler had given him, Imass hesitated as he received blow after blow from the brawler towards his elbows. Instinctively, he tucked his elbows into his sides, while smothering his forearms into the opponents head.

Suddenly, through the fog of his clearing daze Ser Imass remembered his true intent and purpose. He had to get Kreig in a choke hold. He was in the optimum position to do so, but he was seeing three.

Imass would risk the move anyways. It was better than conceding defeat. He was an Akalak, he would always attack. Never retreating. Never surrendering. Aggressively he stabbed his right hand under Kreig's neck. He was trying to loop his arm around the man's neck. He was already so close with Kreig it would be impossible to miss, the key however was maintaining the strength to continue.

OOC-

Sorry for short post. I think we need to play out the next part second by second. As this is grappling every movement counts, so lets play this out one step at a time. Imass shoots his arm under you, so what's initial kreigs reaction as Imass struggles to gain this position on his neck? Let's hammer this out, we are almost done! :D
