Twilight. Xi's favourite time of day, the point where the light radiated it's strongest, without being blinding or overpowering. It was just beautiful. Xi smiles lightly as he walked through the thick jungle floor into a small clearing. His objective today was only to practice his morphing. Finding a quiet dry spot was difficult but do able. Xi sat upon a rock holding himself off of the ground, thinking slowly about the things around him. Watching the environment around him. Xi took slow breaths as well as slow thoughts attempting to empty his mind. Letting his djed flow throughout him he tried to harness his mind, to think about that which would allow him to activate his morphing. It was still very slow and clunky. Still this time he'd try to do something...more. Xi slipped off his gauntlets and placed his hands in the middle of his lap. He tried to focus on the sky, the blazing dark orange burning in the night sky, fading to purple. Xi tried to channel the though of the vivid colour into his hands. Holding onto the thoughts he tried to let his mind just runaway with the idea. Opening his eye's he looked down at his hands now a deep orange colour, a strong harvest gold colour. bringing his hands up he looked down at them. It was strange this ability to completely change even the smallest thing about him through sheer mind and will power alone, Even if it was only minor changes. Then even those changes were slow but still a change was a change.
Xi refocused back onto his natural skin colour, forcing his mind to will his hands back. He did not want to walk around with orange hands and blonde hair. Pushing his mind to remember his true skin tone his hands slowly folded back into his normal tone. Rubbing his hands together as they returned to their normal colour. He wondered what he should do next not to control his mind but to let his djed roam free, He didn't have a lot of stuff memorized, nor known. Sighing he tried to search his memory for something else to latch onto and try to change into but nothing came. Nothing filtered through his mind, he didn't have as much of an understanding about things as maybe a doctor would. Xi could feel his anger rising, what was he so stupid. All he knew was how to destroy stuff. Not how to analyse it, nor how to make sure he understood how it worked. Damn it. Xi felt his djed surging through him but this time not flowing to preform morphing but his natural anger driven flux release. He thought he'd started to overcome the sheer pounding emotion that drove him. But apparently not. The force of pure emotion drove through him, he couldn't think straight. Not until he heard a small voice. A childlike voice, but what was a child doing out here this far into the jungle of the spires. |

Xi carrying this little jamoura was easier than he expected the difficulty was keeping control over how much djed he filtered into his legs letting his thighs endure the slow torture of the flux. The slight touch of extra power after about a full minute of running with the flux was starting to take it's toll, but there was a limited amount of time. Darkness was almost certain death especially without a guide in the thick jungle. Finally the winding way was insight but no. No NO NO! Between them and the winding way was something Xi had only seen in the form of a kelvic...A tiger. A BIG tiger. Damn it. How was he going to get around this three hundred pound mountain of flesh, fur, claws, and fangs. Xi crouched low holding the jamoura. And began to sneak around the huge tiger. As Xi got around to the other side of the tiger he noticed something. It was caught. it's leg caught in some form of snare. Xi had no knowledge of snares but still he couldn't leave the poor creature trapped even if it was huge and would probably eat him the second he set it free. Still he had to try. Ushering the jamoura towards the steps it ran off up there as Xi doubled back to deal with this tiger.
Crouching as low as he could and moving as slow as he could Xi headed back over to the tiger. The sun began to set, though as Xi drew close a pair of striking green eyes pierced into his head. Almost angry volatile, but this wasn't a normal tiger...thank heck for that it was a kelvic. but de to the positioning of the sane if the tier had changes back that would have sliced clean through the flesh of it's leg. The kelvic lashed out at him, as he drew close, a paw like a hammer welted into his armour, the claws scratching against the steel. Xi kept calm and stared back into the beasts eyes. Forcing his own will against it, would the tiger strike again? if it did then Xi would leave it to it's fate. Begrudgingly the beast calmed itself and allowed Xi closer. Xi began to fiddle with the snare around the beasts leg. Xi began to look aty the device and attempt to work out how it worked. he began to play about with it much to the distates of the elvic tiger and more to the distaste of the |
