Gravel The Wandering Pycon Basic Information Race: Pycon Gender: Male Age: 10 years old Birthday: 67th day of spring, 502 AV Phyiscal Description Standing at only 8" and weighing in at a mere 15 lbs, Gravel is by no means large, even by the lower standards of his naturally diminutive race. As with all but the oldest and most experienced pycons, he is still searching for his 'true form', but his most recent figure seems to have stuck for longer than most. At a distance he appears to be a rather stocky man but, closer inspection reveals that his entire form appears to be made entirely of rock. He accredits this to having spent a considerable amount of time around all manner of stone formations during the earlier stages of his life. While intimidating at first, spending any amount of time around him will reveal that he looks and sounds much worse than he actually is. Character Concept In his time spent traveling Mizahar in a seemingly endless quest to sate his intense wanderlust, Gravel has found that there are two things that tend to surprise the people he meets the most. The first is his unexpectedly deep and gravelly voice, and the second is that despite the rugged appearance and the rough voice, he is probably one of the friendliest people you'll meet. Quick to make friends and quicker to laugh, Gravel loves meeting new people, especially those willing to swap a story or two. Optimistic to a fault, it's extremely difficult for Gravel not to see the brighter side of things. This carries over to his thoughts on people as well, leaving him vulnerable to manipulation from time to time. On the flip side, his bright and bubbly manner combined with a deep rooted since of loyalty make him a very good friend and traveling companion. While he acknowledges and praises Harameus as the god who created his race, he more closely worships Priskil and Aquiras. As such, while he may be subject to manipulation, he is exceptionally hard to convince to do anything that might conflict with those beliefs. Character History If you were to ask Gravel when his life began, he'd say the second he left the pyve. As with most young pycons, his inherent wanderlust drove him from his 'home' after barely a year had past. In the years since he has spent the vast majority of his time traveling the many trails and trade routes that connect the various cities, though rarely staying in a city any longer than it would take to catch a ride with one of a wide variety of temporary companions. Along the way he has traveled along side traders and mercenaries, soldiers and priests, and even a rather colorful group of bards. In fact, it was during this trip with the bards that he got his name. As a result he has gathered a rather wide array of basic knowledge in skills, though he lacks any real specialization. Unfortunately it is a rare occurrence to find anyone with the same drive for adventure, so while he made plenty of friends at the time, he would rarely travel with the same group for longer than a few seasons before they grew weary of the roads and return to their respective homes to rest. While he is always sad to see his newly acquired friends go, there will always be another group out there ready to travel the roads again, willing to add the pycon to the mix. Training

Heirloom A small crystal amulet. While the small, simple crystal itself is of very little value, it seems to catch even the smallest amount of light, giving it a faintly glowing appearance. It was given to him by a lightbringer of Priskil he had the fortune of traveling with. Ledger
