"I just...never mind" Markain said. He sighed, he quickly dematerialized and faded back into the forest. His soulmist going with him. He didn't look back once. He just made his way through the forest. He suddenly stopped and looked at the ground. It had been so long since his last interaction with a person.

He looked up and the sky and the trees. He just stayed silent, staying still the entire time.

When the man disappeared, Sam was surprised. His initial blink was followed by several when the mist dissipated and sudden sunlight blinded him further. Unsure if the ghost remained invisible or was well and truly gone, he looked around, but found nothing.

"I'm sorry," he called out, his voice swallowed up by the trees.

Horse seemed more relaxed already.

Markain was deep into the forest. Deep within the trees,shrubs, dirt and whatever else was inside the forest. He kept wandering around. It was a lonely, sad existence as a ghost. Making friends was a task that was near to impossible. No one liked ghosts, it was a fact Markain accepted a very long time ago.

Samael's cry was muffled by the thick wild life. All Markain could hear was a sound, unsure of what it was, he ignored it. He assumed it would be some wild animal.

Horse seemed quite ready to depart, and since Sam knew of no juju to make a ghost reappear on command and the ghost obviously didn't want anything more to do with him, he sighed and turned Horse back toward Syliras. The ghost had seemed friendly enough, if sad. But the shock of meeting a ghost made him want to be back around other people again.

He would light a candle in the Temple of All Gods when he returned, but for now he just murmured a prayer to the gods that the ghost be helped to find his peace that he might sooner find rest and reincarnation as was the way of things.
