Physical Description: Hazel is very small for a Kelvic, at only 5'2" and has a naturally petite figure. Her hair is a blaze of bright orange, due to her animal form of a tiger, and although her eyes are hazel, upon closer inspection there is definitely an animal-like quality to them. She has pale skin, and a light dash of freckles over her nose. But her petite features and natural stealthiness make her very attractive to others.
Her tiger form is also quite small and slender, with the traditional orange fur and black markings. She has the same shade of hazel in her eyes when in this form.
Character Concept:
Personality: Although she was brought up alongside humans, Hazel constantly looks for guidance and the approval of others she believe to be above her, like other kelvics. Because of this Hazel is rather quiet and would rather be lead than be the leader. Once you get to know Hazel, you will see she is quite intelligent and has her own, interesting view point on life. She is shy and cautious at first, but after she realises you mean her no harm she will use her natural charm and humour to try and become friends.
Ethics: Although Hazel is a rather gentle person, she will never stand for someone being treated badly by someone stronger than them for no reason. She will often try and step in (verbally) - and often get into trouble for it. But, other than this, Hazel is a rather unjudgemental person and will treat people how they treat her - whether this is good or bad.
Likes: As expected, Hazel is very fond of animals, and will often go out of her way to find scraps of food for random animals she sees. She often leaves the safety of her home to explore the world beyond city gates; the feeling of freedom is something she adores above anything else - whether this is because of her past of slavery, she's unsure. Apart from this, Hazel enjoys the written word. Being a kelvic, she found it hard to master the task of reading, which she only managed to learn after being around books so long whilst her family were slaves, so she enjoys the challenge of interpreting every word until the story is pieced together. Although at times she still finds it difficult, whenever near books she will naturally want to attempt to read it.
Dislikes: Hazel has a strong hatred for violence. She will only ever use violence in the most dire of situations, and hates seeing anyone getting hurt when they do not desrve it. However, this does not mean she doesn't stand up for herself - if angered or threatened, Hazel will always attack verbally, which is perhaps not always the best idea. Due to her little use of violence, she is not the most skilled fighter, and her natural instinct is to flee rather than fight. However, when in her animal form this is much different - she is a lot more confident with her fighting when in her tiger shape, and will be much more likely to defend herself and stand her ground when forced to.

Her family had served a human who bought them on the sale trade, until eventually he passed away at an old age and Hazel and her parents were left to fend for themselves when she was only a girl. Due to being in a very human household for so long as she grew up, she has very human beliefs and values, which have been imposed upon her family whilst working.
When Hazel was old enough to fend for herself, she was allowed to leave her family and moved into her own home. Although she is still in contact with her family, she rarely sees them, and like most kelvics of her age she is in search of her bondmate. Although, now not being able ro find work, she often resorts to pickpocketing and thievery to earn her keep.
