Weylin Quickshot Race: Human, Drykas Birthday & Age: 17 years old, born 51st day of Autumn 495 Gender: Female Physical Description Height: 5’8” Weight: 126lbs Wild, uncontrollable, but noble, just like the might creature she was named after; the "Son" of the Wolf. Her loud nature fills her with energy, but undirected and chaotic a potential for disaster when not checked upon. She is fair skinned, but scared in places though various adventures with her brothers when she was younger. Round, dark green eyes stare out from her face with a look of boldness and determination behind them, the eyes of hunter. Her hair is mousy and wild, matted and uncertain in which direction to spring next, much like the pelt of an animal. Unlike most Drykas women, she does not braid her hair. Instead (like her older brothers) she simply pulls it back with leather cording, giving her more of a warrior look and taming it in the process. From a young age the other clansmen describe her as being ‘tiny’ in comparison to the rest of her family, though in comparison to most of the other women she was taller. She has an ornate arrow head tattoo on each hand, with a collection of tattooed knot work going up the right forearm. It is one of the few pieces of pride she has, it is the arm that has hunted much game and won bouts of brawling when in both danger and for fun. Generally dresses in more simplistic and practical clothing, the less restrictive the better, generally of green and white colouring, with the family broach pinning her cloak together. Character Personality Bold with words and opinions, with a strong willingness to prove herself if not believed and to gracefully accept defeat when wrong. She is however rambunctious in nature, undisciplined in the ways to deal with others; she lacks a sense of direction and so is chaotic and restless without the firm hand to push her on the correct path. Not that she is unintelligent, the ideas of learning appeal to her, it is simply difficult to hold her attention in terms of more theoretical and non-practical classes. She would fidget and look for something else to do, or annoy her instructor before that occurs, commonly in the form of wit and sarcasm. There is an element of maturity around her, one that can be held onto when in the midst of the hunt or within a brawl, but still can have her moments of immaturity most commonly when becoming restless. She is close to her mount, which she sees as part of her family, with others she likes to keep a form of distance after the Fall Hunt incident. Because of past events, she finds it hard to forgive herself when making serious mistakes. She will set her own pace in life, and will not let herself be governed too much by tradition. She is a great believer of the common human(oid) and his own strength believing; in union is strength, to never rely upon a boaster and he who slights his friends when they are not needed must not expect them to serve him when he needs them. She is a strong believer of doing the job right and let who she deems a fool take control. If they insist however, she will let them and let them fail if need be. In terms of religion, she respects those that believe in their gods, but will stand her ground in her beliefs and in her own gods, but at the end of the day in the wild: "There is no Gods, there is no Kings. There is only men. When in the wild there is simply yourself, your flesh and your blood." History This child comes from the Emerald Clan in Endrykas, the clan of that boasts the best hunters. The reasoning for her slightly more masculine name is for her father thinking he was having another son. She is the youngest out of the seven children in her family and the only daughter, and so because of these factors that Weylin appears to have a more boyish nature about her; the lust of the hunt and the want of battle runs strong in her veins. Over a decade ago her lessons in the hunt and defending herself began, most often being taught by her elder brothers due to the absence of her father. Her upbringing was rough, filled with ideas of combat and the hunt, and following in the shoes of her elder brothers, the pursuits of weaving and cooking were hard for her to focus upon. Her siblings were her biggest influence, her mother second due to her trying to turn her into some form of a lady- not that it ever worked. When ten years of age Weylin was “chosen” by her Strider Averti, a colt at the time and so began her training in the saddle and small amounts in looking after the creature. Averti was important to her, becoming a family member to her within an instant. As she grew older, Weylin was seen as a proficient hunter of the emerald clan until an unfortunate event occurred at the first Fall Hunt she participated in. When before her seventeenth year she and a few other hunters went out to seek the hides of ferocious beasts and drastically failed; she was the only one to return barely alive. Although not shunned by her fellow clansmen after the Fall Hunt she feels she has lost a sense of pride and honour, therefore she left the side of the Drykas in an attempt to restore and better herself. Averti
Averti is a bonded Cyphrus Strider. He stands at 15 hands high with a tan colored coat with black points on his lower legs, mane and tail. To breeders he would be described as being confident and 'charismatic', he expressive and strong minded, and occasionally a bit of a show off. He had the tendency to want to race about, to burn off most of his energy in one fell swoop, and so without that has the tendency to be energetic and playful. Beware, he likes to head butt people for attention. When deciding if he likes someone he will often circle them as much as possible before standing behind one of Weylin's shoulder. If he stands behind her left shoulder- the shield shoulder- he approves, if behind the right- the sword shoulder- he is either not to sure or does not like the person. Relationships Key
