So even the Gods and Goddesses weren't safe from everything. A perfect reminder in which Septimus more or less needed right now. Of course, he had a perfectly good point and it reminded the Kelvic how fragile life really was. Something she really needed to remember before she went out and got herself killed trying to pull something.
Make you look like you can train a Knight? Then we better get the petch out of here before I manage to somehow come close to falling again! The thought made her fuzzy mind chuckle slightly as they both stood up. Of course, hearing how things were gonna go down were comforting. The Kelvic knew she wouldn't have to worry but, of course, she could still handle herself. However, she hated the thought of having that burden on Xuphim or Xalet. Either way, she hated the feeling. If he said it was alright though, she presumed it was alright.
Septimus chuckled with a slight almost playful but still reserved smirk at his new statement "Wouldn't be watching myself then, would I?" She found it ironic in some ways but in the end, she shrugged everything off her shoulders besides Xuphim's arm which was probably the only thing from keeping her falling in the direction gravity wanted to pull her towards. She only felt it the right thing to do right now, along with another line of support, to put her arm around his waist which was considerably a good foot higher or so than her own. Then was when Septimus realized how tall he actually was, though she probably would trouble remembering it in the morning.
"You know what I don't understand though? How little someone can drink of one little substance and they don't feel right to this extent." Of course, to someone who probably wasn't in the state of mind she was in, half aware of her surroundings and such, it probably would have made sense that ale could be transitioned into an analogy of sorts for the word poison. Once poison entered once such as through a simple drink it would spread throughout the body's bloodstream and get soaked into the body itself. This would cause the body to act in ways it normally wouldn't to try and build a tolerance, even if it meant bending at the mercy of the poison.
