Fall 75, 512AV. Dusk
Finally... was all Yohan could think as the setting sun made its way to the horizon. The twilight sun cast a reddened hue over everything he could see. The stone walls of Syliras glowed beautifully from Yohans perch in a tree, just within the treeline. He watched the road intently, anticipating his opponents arrival.
Yohan waited for what seemed like Bells to go by. All the while, going over battle plans in his mind. He pictured his reactions to virtually any strike. Downward, horizontal, upwards, diagonal, all of it. Then he pictured his enemy. Crypt Insatem.
The man was only slightly shorter than Yohan was. He was certain that this fact would give him some advantage. Yohan was sure he was stronger than Crypt as well. But that is not to say the young Drykas was to be taken easily. He had already proved that he could see Yohans Hypnotism. And he eluded to being a dangerous man back at the tavern.
But Crypt had openly threatened him. Although it was Yohan who offered the official challenge, it was Crypt who had challenged Yohan with his words. This threat had peaked the young Ziths curiosity. Just how much of a threat is this man?
As the last of Synas light faded from the landscape, Yohan looked up at the moon, shining overhead. Welcome back, Leth. He said quietly, touching the bandage that covered his mark.
Yohan had tied his hair back. He did this so that his hair would not get in the way of vision. It would be terrible embarrassing if he lost to a human, just because he couldn't see.
Eventually, Yohan heard something. He stood up on the branch, looking out over the road that lead towards Syliras. His claws dug into the wood of he tree.
There you are...Crypt Insatem
