Eden Sherbrooke ■ Race: Human ■ Birthday & Age: 19 ■ Gender: Female Physical Description: Eden has long, faded oak colored hair that cascades down past her shoulder blades. Vibrant dark green eyes hide behind long brown eyelashes and thick straight bangs. A slight rosy tint flushes her cheeks and slender nose. She stands at 5’5 with a lean build. Eden is slightly pigeon toed when she walks which can give her an ungraceful look, as she trips over her own feet quite often. It was a childhood problem that she never grew out of. A cotton olive toned dress fits her nicely without constricting her movement. The cold weather forces her to wear a grey jacket and dark brown leather boots. Her grey wool socks have little holes in them but keep her feet fairly warm. Cream colored stockings are not unusual to see her in. Character Concept: Eden enjoys many social settings and is generally a friendly, approachable person. She likes to go to taverns though rarely drinks, and even when she does, it’s very light. Her sense of humor is very broad. People who have been around her for an extended period of time notice that she laughs at even the most trivial jokes and remarks. Sarcasm and tomfoolery flirting is regarded as highly amusing. Eden has a very curious nature and actively seeks those who have knowledge in various subjects she has interest in. Her thirst for knowledge has never been quenched. All books are treasures in her eyes. She enjoys exploring her surroundings and is known to wander off abruptly with a sort of ignorance to the natural dangers around her. Character History: Eden was born in Sylira to a horse fanatic father and a simple minded mother. While her father spent most of his time trying to plan the perfect breed of horse, admittedly unsuccessfully, she was left to her mother’s care. Her mother loved her very much and sheltered her from the outside world, trying to provide an innocent and ignorant life for her treasured daughter. However there were times when Eden’s curious nature and her mother’s ill health allowed the young girl to escape outside their home and explore. She was foiled every time within a matter of minutes and returned promptly. As her mother withered away in bed, she began to fallow her father around his work and at home. When she was old enough he taught her how to care for the horses and eventually how to ride them. Her mother died one summer evening when she was eleven. Her father threw himself into his work even more in his grief and eventually decided that a change of place was needed to finish his studies. He packed up the little belongings and his child and paid an escort to lead them to Avanthal, where he was certain that he could breed the perfect horse; one that could sustain weeks in the harsh environment in the wastelands, be resilient, and to protect its owner fiercely, with the loyalty of a dog. When they arrived they took up lodging in the Savintar Warrens, which eventually became a permanent residence. It was the winter of 510 AV that her father became very sick, very quickly, and died; his work incomplete and his daughter now alone. She was 17 at the time, and continued to live at the Warrens with the money her father left her. She spent a great deal of time alone in her lodge, for the next couple of years, gathering courage to brave the outside world without the shelter of her parents who had been her only friends.
