1. The Past – There is ebbing stability in your financial life, perhaps in the form of budget cuts. Your partnership could potentially have been damaged by financial pressures. Anxiety is generated by a lack of guarantee or regularity.
2. The Present – Decisions have to be made; there is the need to see life without bias or prejudice! You’re restricted by your emotions. This might prompt the need for a creative or unprecedented solution. It is overall indecision.
3. The Near Future – Instability at home drives you to escape and retreat within your own mind. Your job perhaps is interfering at home. You will be facing a need for spiritual centering and fulfillment. You may lose sight of what’s truly important.
4. The Answer – Your choices are being dictated by financial circumstances. That’s taking a toll on every aspect of your life! You’re experiencing a financial or career “winter.” Think of the quote “this too, will pass.” You will survive it, despite how unpleasant it is going to be.
5. Surrounding Energies – There is pressure from those around you to conform and follow the status quo. Certain people may be ignoring their responsibilities or adopting a childish perspective.
6. Attitude – You feel an acute lack of direction. The lack of an overall goal is draining and you’re forced to re-evaluate. “Is this really worth it?”
7. Outcome – Plans are underway. This card signifies the beginning of a journey and the healing of wounds. Any damage done begins to knit itself. This may also suggest a job involving travel… Maybe (gasp) your current job? This card as the outcome suggests fulfillment and success of a plan!
Summary You’ve contended with financial issues in the past but now they’re hitting you head on. Decisions need to be made regarding your position on the reoccurrence of these things and how they affect your life. You question if it’s really worth continuing, especially given your overall lack of direction. Those around you (coughMatt) have abandoned their support role and may be acting infantile or self-involved. This will drive you to escape to the sanctuary of your own thoughts and other such escapist pursuits. The good news is that you will survive with perseverance, despite the seeming hopelessness! Putting some alternate plans in motion or finding some outside coping mechanisms will ultimately have you come out on top. Anything you pursue will come to fruition and whatever damage done in your relationships will heal. Great success!

Did you swipe yours from the starter druid card deck too?
Thank you, anyway. It's the Celtic Tarot. I'm very Scottish so it's close to home. The box I keep it in has my spirit totem emblazoned on it and I always smudge with white sage. I try to keep all the influences surrounding it meaningful and pure.
Yep, I think it was from my Druid Animal deck! That's great, the cards look very appealing in that picture. I find it hard to break away from the classics, my Rider Waite and Thoth are just like old friends that never leave your side haha.
I was just walking casually by your scrapbook, as one is wont to do when browsing in an electronic medium, and I glanced around at all the lovely Tarot related talk, glanced at my own unused deck, and thought, "Well, I have nothing to contribute to that, so here are some HORSES!"
These are our Percheron/Belgian crosses. This picture is from the spring, but their coats look like that now, all fluffy for winter! The nearly black one is Malina, who is 6 and a year older than her sister Laure. They are unfortunately not my babies, since I'm away at school and have to regain their trust with many a treat every time I come home, but I wanted to share them with you since you have your own equine family. As I fed them this morning in order to save my Dad the trouble they snorted and fussed at me, clearly questioning why their father wasn't tending to them.
Their mother, Arwen, was a Belgian and I strongly disliked her. Didn't have an abundance of brains, wasn't friendly, and nearly always had her ears back for no apparent reason, as if she expected at any moment you were going to do something so she was just prepping herself for it.
Their father Midnight our Percheron, was a wonderful sweetheart: Clever, friendly, and patient, he was the very definition of gentle giant with the exception of being around mares since he wasn't gelded.
It's funny because they are this perfect fusion of both of their parents. Both slow to trust (Laure less so), but complete babies once they do, yet always a bit sassy, just like you'd expect from a pair of sisters.
Anyway I thought I'd throw this up here, wish you a very Merry Christmas, and say thanks for being an awesome overseer for me as an AS, thanks Goss!
