Name: Atrax Cerbera
Race: Symenestra Male
Age: 27
Birthday: 19th of Spring, 485 AV


Character Concept

Symenstra in heart, spirit, mind and body. Yet he could not stay at his birthplace, he could not rest. Not until he learned all he could about Malediction and return to Kalinor a masterful craftsman of the arcane, in order to aide his race into supremacy. He knows not everyone approves of his ambitions and goals he has stated for himself. But his feelings of being meant for something more grand than simply staying in Kalinor and being pleased with the life he has, are too strong. He has been taught the arts of Malediction, to a limited extent, by his father. Eventhough he taught his son all he knew, it wasn't enough for Atrax, he knew he was still a small cog in the greater wheel of the world's turning.

But in due time, he will become the hinge that his race needed in order to rise and claim control of Kalea. A lot of Symenestra called him delusional, until the very last moment before he left Kalinor, but it did not faze him. His resolve and desire were, and are, flaming much too strong. Nobody and nothing can change that...

Once he left Kalinor, after researching wherever he could for a location with grandmasters that could teach him more and more, he embarked upon a journey to the island known as Sahova. Many tales, each one more terrifying than the one before, were attempted to pierce his heart and spirit with corrupting fear. But he overcame them all, it mattered not whether or not Sahova was a place where he would encounter demons and worse...He would go through the depths of the underworld and beyond if it would give him the power and knowledge he seeked.

He would not fail! Before he left he beseeched Viratas for his blessing, and his punishment, if his ambitions would ever waver.

Atrax' is blinded by his ambitions, without any real knowledge of what he's getting himself into, he dives into the deep end. But it has also to be noted that while he's reckless in that aspect, he would never allow himself to cut himself slack in any way, when he throws himself in the deep end he will struggle and fight with all his might until he learns to swim and survives.

All for the greater good. The end justifies the means!


Character History

Atrax was raised by his father more so than by anyone else. He lead a rather normal life for a Symenestra, but at a young age already he was confronted by a vision. The vision was in third person view and he saw himself in a forest. The forest was thick and filled with huge trees blocking out the sun, amidst those trees, he saw shadows flickering by. None of them were clearly visible and they appeared as fast as they disappeared from his eyes. But he knew....Those shadows were his kin!

He became overtaken by a zealous spirit that asked him, no, commanded him!

" You shall be the one, the one that casts away the shadows that we are and returns us to our glorious past. Where we roam the lands above, where we rule the lands above! Where our armies will crawl from the earth's depths, you shall provide them with the arms they need to conquer all before us! You shall roam the lands above before our swarm, gaining knowledge and power beyond all. Then you shall return and lead your kin to victory! Go forth when the time is ripe, let nothing stand in your way! "

After the voice and spirit left his body, he could see the trees change shape into races he had never even seen before. All standing above him and looking down upon, until he grew and grew to a titan that rised high above them. Until they all looking up to him and his kin that were no longer shadows lurking around the earth, but were all besides him, high and mighty, where they belonged!

That's where the vision ended and the path he had to take, commenced.

Bone Necklace:
The necklace is made of 5 finger bones from a Symenestra that hang from a thin cord. Malediction circles carved in it draw out the power in the bones, giving the one who wears it greater balance and a stronger grip while climbing. If another Symenestra wears it they are filled with the confidence of their race and are less susceptible to intimidation. After removing the necklace the world seems a bit more frightening, and the wearer will feel a lack of balance and have difficulty coordinating their movements for a full bell.

Note: Only works when the NPC or PC has an intimidation level of 30 or below.

Hello there! I'm Torchlight, your friendly local Character Sheet Liaison. I'm here to help you get your CS sorted out and ready to go for roleplaying! There are just a couple of things I'd like to help you with. Don't worry! We'll get your character operational asap.

  • Name - Please re-read the name section in the Symenestra article. Full-blooded Symenestra are usually given three-syllable names. Two-syllable names are usually reserved for Dra. Male names often include the letters D or V, or both.

    Symenestra surnames are culturally important. All Syms are named after flowers, such as Aconite, Rose, Hyacinth, etc. Please choose the name of a flower or plant (NOT the latin scientific name) for your PC.
  • Vision - Only certain types of people receive visions in Mizahar. To make this vision part of your history, please ask Poison, the Kalinor DS, for permission. Alternately, you may ask the Help Desk.
  • Zombie Claus - "( Gift from Zombie Claus )" << Lol, what? Please explain this or remove it. xD
  • Heirloom - The magic item you list as your heirloom sounds like it would be worth more than 50gm limit. Please ask the HD or a DS permission to have this item.
  • Lore of Vision - Again, this item is iffy and either had to be changed or approved by a DS or higher.

Once these items have been addressed, please let me know via PM an I'll remove this note.
