Physical Description

The first thing anyone notices about Arkale is his eyes, the brillant and clear orbs of Amber that regard the world with infinite curiosity and wonder; the eyes of the innocent. His smile is infectious and even dangerous, or so his long ago sweetheart from the University would say. Following his eyes, one would notice the very light tan that warmed his once pale skin. Its obvious in his years he has not seen a lot of sun, but its to be expected of one with such a scholarly background as Arkale. Atop his head rests a dusty brown crop of hair, that
compliments his eyes well.

Character Concept

Arkale was forced all his life to study and learn so that he could secure a position at the University; however, that wasn't anything close to the life he wanted. So, after his first year of studies, Arkale dropped out and left
Zeltiva.

His goal is to prove that he can make something of himself without dedicating his life to the University.

Character History

Arkale was born and raised in Zeltiva, and very very rarely let the port city. The ambient sound of water and wind was the soundtrack to his life, and every time a salty breeze caresses his face, he is reminded of the life he left behind.

To say it was a bad life would be a lie, for he was never in want or need of anything. Not that his family was rich, but because they were smart. They knew how to prepare and save for hard times, as well as know better than to not splurge in the good times. This was something that Arkale's father, Carver Banaeford, provided to the Benaeford bloodline, for Arkale's Grandfather, Flynton Benaeford, was nothing like his son Carver.

Arkale's only time out of Zeltiva when he was a child was alongside his Grandfather. They had gone on a sort of pilgammage to Syliras and back to Zeltiva, quite against Carver's wishes. For the better part of Summer 501 AV, Arkale travelled with his grandfather, who told him all about "the old days" when all he was allowed to do was work on his father's, Arkale's Great Grandfather that is, farm. It was no secret that Arkale loved his grandfather more than anyone else in his family, but sadly the trip came to an end.

In the Winter of 503 AV, Flynton Benaeford died.

Arkale was devestated, and was left with only his memories, and a small vial of dirt that his grandfather had given him. It was dirt from the first farm the Benaefords every owned, and to Arkale, it was the spirit of his Grandfather's memory.

From then on Arkale devoted himself, quiet begrudginly, to his studies. In the hopes of impressing his parent and hopefully gaining from them the same affection he recieved from his late grandfather.
