While Sylira is by far the most civilized region of Mizahar, countless surprises and encounters await the traveler in its rural wilderness. Called the Wildlands, Syliran's wilderness is comprised of gradual rolling hills in the south that become deep wilderness in the north. Ruins abound throughout the wildlands, and only the well-marked roads are safe.

While the fact that her fist missed his nose enraged her, the satisfying crack of it against his cheek more than made up for it. She was so pleased with herself that she simply didn't notice him grab her fist, follow it through, and then introduce her face to the dirt of their camp again. Nya went down hard, all the breath knocked out of her. She lay there a moment, lifting her shoulders to shake her head which gave Shai time to finish freeing himself from his clothing. She was up on her hands and knees by the time he was completely naked and danging the belt off his left hand. Nya didn't know if it was a threat or a promise as she snarled at him.

She only snarled because she wanted to buy a little time to look at him. Shai was absolutely beautiful naked. Sure, he had scars where numerous encounters with both enemies and loved ones had marked his skin. But the deep copper of his body and the contrasting black hair and piercing green-blue eyes made her pause. She longed to look at him, to pull Djed into her gaze, and compel him to bow before her. But he was a proud creature, a creature whos spirit Nya had no desire to break. And the belt in his hands ....

It made her shiver with desire.

The whole way he stood there defiantly and commandingly before her made her shiver. She loved him fiercely and suddenly was possessed of her own spirit more than the cat. She rose fully from her crouch and approached him. No forest cat ever had given a human the courtesy she gave him. It was only a pause in the game, of course, an acknowledgment of peers. After the interlude, the fight would continue. But the forest cat wearing her human guise approached him and presented him with her neck so he could wrap the belt tightly around it, cinching it and guaranteeing in this lucid moment that she wouldn't loose it and shift in order to kill him.

Whether he did it or not was up to him.

But she'd only pause so long and then the fight would be on again - so he would have to decide quickly. That much she broad casted in her gaze and through the bond. Afterwords, she'd try for his throat again, and if he wanted to take her in the way forests cats did, it would be a gradual thing, full of quick momentary couplings carried out in the heat of their battle whenever she made a mistake or Shai proved stronger. There was nothing human about the encounter - at least not until this instant - and there would be nothing human about it until afterwards. Once both were exhausted, bloody, and completely spent... Shai would have nothing left to give her and if Caiyha had her way, Nya would be carrying a belly full of his offspring from the encounter.

Two breaths, thats all the time she gave him, paused in front of him before she was crouched down and ready to slam into his midsection to take him down once more.

Lest He Forget She's Not Human (Abashai)

Postby Abashai on May 15th, 2010, 12:26 pm

Abashai felt powerful as he stood, glaring at Nya laying on the ground. Gods she was beautiful. As she stood, her mate admired her strong lithe body. Nya's light skin was adorned with numerous scars, markings that, along with her deep gnosis marks, made her flesh unique and, to Abashai, desirable. He longed to trace each one with his fingers, feel the raised ridges with his lips and tongue.

He did not move as she approached, something in her eyes and her casual gait told him the human had surfaced, if only a bit. He grinned as she paused, raising her head and tilting it to expose her lovely neck. Though Abashai had considered several options for the belt in his hand, the bond told him what he should do. Without hesitation he wrapped the leather strap around Nya's neck, not so tight as to restrict her breathing, or the flow of blood to her brain, but snug enough to deter her from shifting to her deadly forest cat form. It was a gesture that confirmed her desire for the game to continue, for it to reach its culmination. He tucked the loose end under the belt, to remove the temptation to use it as an unfair advantage.

Abashai did not have the insticts and genetic instruction of a forest cat. His body and mind were simply responding to Nya, engulfed in her overpowering persona through the bond. But now he could see how the ritual would go, his role in the dance, the challenge she posed to him. Nya had spent almost a year learning to be more human for him. Now, it was his turn to learn to be animal for her.

Only a few breaths had passed. Shai, captivated again by the smoldering green of Nya's passion-glazed eyes, only saw her head duck before he was careening backwards, her shoulder thrust into his mid-section. The male landed with a thud and an oof again against the forest floor, unable to grasp the woman before he fell.

Shai looked up at the gloating Nya, never looking down as he placed his left foot against the outside of her right ankle, the sole of his right foot against the inside of her right knee. Holding her ankle firm, he pushed on her knee with a slight rotation, causing it to fold and her leg to give way, the intent to topple her to the ground as well, where it would be easier to gain a position to mate with her.

Lest He Forget She's Not Human (Abashai)

ImageEvery time she took him down and he retaliated it did something to her deep within. Every time he demonstrated his strength and fitness, she grew more ready for what was inevitable. They'd been together numerous times. Nya indulged Shai's needs as his wife on a frequent basis and did so without complaint for she enjoyed the loving as any creature would. But this was something different, something wilder. It was obvious, locked in his gnosis that he was stronger than she in this form. Even without his gnosis, he was stronger. But with it, he was superior. It was exactly what nature wanted when it paired up forest cats. It wanted strong genes to be blended with stronger genes to make offspring that were superior. And though Abashai had no forest cat guise, for what he was he was incredibly fit. Nya knew it. Which was why she'd let him even the field and resist the temptation for her to wear her fur. She was the size of a warhorse when she shifted, and that shift would never test them one on one.

This was a test... and as she drove her shoulder satisfyingly into him and knocked him down, she felt herself falling as he linked ankles and swept her from her feet. He was fast, strong... perfect. Everything about him glowed with health and what her body demanded in a mate. Everything. It didn't matter that he was her husband. It didn't matter that she loved him. When Nya was in this state, what mattered was what was best for the future generations. She would have mated with anyone who was superior to her. That was the animal in her, and something Abashai had to understand. It was good this first full heat without the influence of the herbs she'd been on had been out in the wilderness all alone with him. In Syliras, it would have been disastrous - and Shai would have been hard pressed to control her.

Here, it didn't matter though. She was an animal in the woods here, just another predator, testing the boundaries of her strengths and weaknesses... and totally locked in the thralls of being perfectly matched.

He brought her down neatly.

She didn't fall hard, but pushed out with her hands and came down on them along with her knees just to the side and a little in front of Shai. She paused a moment, growled, and stayed down like that... panting and waiting. It was an offer to mate, the first of many that would come between the tests of strength. Brindled hair was tossed into the air, she snarled, and gave him a perfect view of what it was he was fighting for. He could feel how she felt... swollen, uncomfortable, burning... he also knew what his actions would result in. The patterns of the dance, the cadence of their combat... this would be a respite, an intermission, the first of many throughout the night, as she tested him and enjoyed him intermittently until the combat had caused her to fulfill her one obligation in life; reproduction.

And he was about to become her mate in truth, forest cat style, not in the way of humans with their misplaced sentiment and tendencies to coddle the weak or infirm.

Lest He Forget She's Not Human (Abashai)

Postby Abashai on May 26th, 2010, 5:50 pm

The libido-driven Abashai sported a feral grin as Nya fell to her hands and knees. He stared hungrily at the forest cat clad in human flesh, savoring the wanton pose she assumed. Nya growled, but her throaty response was not a threat. Instead, Abashai heard an invitation. this time she was not simply teasing him. He quickly scrambled behind her, placing his knees between hers. One hand rested on her back firmly, keeping Nya from raising up, his other hand laid upon her hip to help control her.

Abashai made his way into her, and the first of many matings began. The experience bore little resemblance to the human love-making the couple was used to. No human sensuality, no emotional sentiment. It was purely sexual. Abashai had finally bought in completely to the goal of this ritual, and it became his desire as well...procreation. His motions were quick and forceful, designed to ultimately place his seed in the best position for fertilization.

Not that the human male did not find satisfaction in it. He grunted with pleasure as every nerve tingled with the thrill. He leaned over to run his tongue up Nya's spine, tasting the salt in the thin layer of sweat that covered her light skin. He emitted a throaty, mischievous laugh.

Lest He Forget She's Not Human (Abashai)

Postby Nya Winters on May 26th, 2010, 6:14 pm

ImageThere were first times for everything. First kisses, first bondings, the first time a kelvic took a step in their superior animal form. And while they were human, fully human, on the outside, on the inside they were always something more. People would claim it made them lesser creatures, for often they bound them in iron and fought them in pits where money was changed hands. And too often they were fed chemicals that would bring them unnaturally to the state Nya was in where she would be heavily restrained and then covered by whatever creature her owners would have thought gave them the best chance of having her give birth to more creatures as fierce as she herself was. And in a different time and a different place she'd be forced to fight to win food, to win a quiet place to sleep, to win any value at all.

But Nya was lucky.

She wasn't a creature valued only for her skill. Instead she was a creature valued for who she was in a secondary sense to what she was. As she knelt there in the forest duft, body inviting Shai to mate with a growl, she thought quietly of the first time she'd seen him and his horse across the stream wandering past her camp. She hadn't had any idea at that time that he'd initiate her into so many new things. He taught her how to be human. He gave her ground rules and set boundaries for her. He kept her close but held her just distant enough for her to fully grow up. He'd gave her the first true kiss she'd ever had and filled their bond with love she'd always longed for. And it was these thoughts that filled her head as Shai filled her body. A first true mating.

There was no way to describe the sensations that filled a full kelvic in the course of their full blown heat. And it didn't matter if they were simple rabbits or quiet mice, or soft eyed mares that grazed in the pastures of their bondmates. It didn't matter if they were prisoners of the pits or wandering the grasslands with cloven hooves and little horns. The sensation was astonishingly good - satisfying - and something she would never be able to describe as a human to anyone anywhere.

She reveled in it for a long while, savored it, even as Abashai's actions continued. But his laughter woke her to the truth. His tongue drove the message home. Forest cats didn't mate with love and laughter. Without his violence bringing her body to completion, there was no use letting him waste himself within her. She needed him completely dominant, completely certain, completely feral. He let her move too much. He let his humanity infuse his actions with something other than mating. It enraged her all over again that she gave herself to him and he just wanted to toy with her. She fumed that it was his tongue on his skin and not his teeth on her neck, or in lue of them his hands, holding her still, bringing about the dominance that would cause her primed body to release its precious eggs so he could bathe them in the fluids of creation.

No more. She'd have no more of it. With a growl that turned mean rather than submissively inviting, she lunged upwards, pulling him slickly from her, and twisted partially to her back and partially onto her side to drive her teeth into his shoulder. While her human teeth were blunt and ineffective for tearing off a hunk of his shoulder - as much as she'd like too - it gave him a perfect demonstration of how something could be held. Pain infused him, sharp and well matching her anger that flooded him through the bond. And hold him she did, digging her teeth deep into him and using her head to try and throw him away from her as if casting him away in disgust. As a forest cat she could have done it easily - tossing him like a pile of meat. The motion, however, as a human was something other than... effective. But she wasn't thinking straight at the moment, nor like a human. Instead, she was reacting like a beast. Frustrated, she balled up a fist and punched again, instinctively using the Ryvata they had learned together, attempting to clock him soundly beneath his right cheek. Of course, with her teeth still sunk into his shoulder, it wasn't exactly the easiest thing to aim for with her eyes glancing down over the plain of his back.

Lest He Forget She's Not Human (Abashai)

Postby Abashai on May 28th, 2010, 11:51 am

Abashai's education into the ways of the forest cat was significantly more physically painful than Nya's lessons in learning to be human. The human thought he was doing pretty good, he had more than matched his mate strength for strength, thanks to Yahal's divine gift, and had earned the right to begin mating with her. In his lust-fogged mind, he had won and was enjoying the rewards of his effort.

He was wrong. Nya's sudden violent attack startled him, and as she sunk her teeth painfully into his shoulder, Shai's awareness became quite keen and lucid. The pain was intense, and he was sure her intent was to rend flesh from his bone. Abashiai somehow found the resolve not to hammer her skull with his fist, for in his ennervated state, he could have killed her. But he did let out a howl of pain and a string of Shiber curses he had not uttered since he was a teenager.

She push at him, trying to manipulate him with the fierce grip of her jaws. More feelings and instincts were being fed through the bond. He was doing it wrong. Not by human standards, but that was the point. Nya's internal systems ran like a forest cat, not a woman, her whole heat cycle was one example. As a large predatory feline, Shai could now see, she needed certain stimuli for her body to make ready for reproduction to occur. As a human male he was not physically designed to provide that stimuli like a forest cat.

But his wonderfully feral bondmate had quite poignantly demonstrated what he needed to do. He needed to totally dominate her. Talderian Dire Forest Cat mating was violent. Abashai knew he wanted this, wanted to do it for Nya, and for himself. She had gone through so much to live with him, made sacrifices and denied much of who she was to be with him. He was going to do this for her. And if they were ever going to have children, it had to be done this way.

Again, Shai had adjust his perception. It was a regular reality check he had to make, a reminder that it was not fair to perceive Nya as human when she was not. Abashai was proud of who Nya was, never regretted or was ashamed of his Kelvic wife, but at times he allowed his eyes to deceive him. At her wonderful, amazing heart, Nya was a forest cat.

Abashai knew then what he had to do. In human eyes, it would appear abusive, even perverse. But he swore he would be as much a cat for her as she had been a human for him.

So, when his mate's arm chambered for a strike, Abashai's hand shot up, catching Nya's fist before it landed. His other hand became entangled in her mop of brindled hair and he yanked fiercely, tearing her teeth from his shoulder. He growled again in agony, but maintained his hold on her. Shai's hand released her mane, slipping down to wrap around the back of Nya's neck. With a firm grasp on her wrist with the other hand, he twisted his mate back around and pushed her down, shoving her head and shoulders to the ground and forcing the side of her face against the forest floor.

The leather strap cinched about the Kelvic's neck kept her mate's strong grip from cutting off the supply of blood to her brain, but he held her head and shoulders firmly against the ground. The Benshira's other hand released Nya's fist and he used it to guide himself back inside the forest cat. Abashai began again the mating act. His hold on her remained firm and restraining, the force of his grip and pressure of his teeth increasing with every attempt Nya made to shift or squirm away.

Intent on driving Nya to the peak needed to reproduce, Shai leaned over her back and sank his teeth into the corded muscle between the cat's shoulder and neck. Hesitant at first, the man found the sensation of her firm tissue as it gave slightly to his bite very stimulating, and he increased the pressure until he felt Nya wince.

Though the impetus that drove the human at that moment was a consuming lust that exceeded any he experienced during their human lovemaking, For Abashai, the animalistic coupling had become an act of love. Even more, as he engaged Nya, he realized that the result could be something he had never been sure he would have....a family.

Those sentiments, the feel of his powerful dominating grip on Nya and the pleasure of their union motivated Abashai's movements to drive deeper within her and with even more force. He bit harder, his free hand gripping her hip to allow him greater leverage. He was engrossed in the effort, grunting loudly, finding pleasure in mating with Nya on her terms.

Lest He Forget She's Not Human (Abashai)

Postby Nya Winters on May 28th, 2010, 6:33 pm

ImageThere was an extreme satisfaction in having a mouth full of a suitors blood. It was even more satisfying to have a mouth full of his flesh too. But as she lifted a fist to strike him, having an iron hard grip catch her fist, it gave her pause. It was awkward, teeth digging into his flesh while his hand captured her limb and held it away, forcefully in a grip that was painfully hard. And when a second fist captured her hair, she cried out as he tore her head away from his shoulder - her face looking incredibly inhuman with her bloody lips and crimson teeth visible where only pearl white should have been. She hissed, causing flecks of his own blood to splatter his naked chest as she arched her back in response to the abuse on her hair.

But he gave her no time to react otherwise. For his gnosis gave him added strength, a strength she could not match, and she found herself flipped and forced to the ground by an iron grip around her neck. Thus immobilized, the forest cat howled her rage because the leather band gave her breath to do so even as it protected her fragile neck unwittingly from Abashai accidentally snapping it. He knew it was anger as well... not pain... for the bond fed him information the whole time. Shai knew exactly what he was doing as he maneuvered her body beneath him and forced her into a position of total submission, one nature demanded to prove his bloodlines were strong - stronger than hers - and thus what she needed to make offspring that were as strong as well. It drove her a little mad - he could feel it as he held her - and her arms came out, fingernails digging into claws as they rendered the earth beneath them into tilled soil as if readying it for planting. Her actions almost mimicked what Shai did to her own body...

She screamed again, enraged and frustrated, but he could feel a difference in it this time. It had an edge of excitement to it, of acceptance... and as he shifted his body to once more penetrate her own, Nya arched her hips, tucked her knees beneath and to the side of her body, and made it easier for him. She was silent when he began again, and only screamed a final time when his teeth sank into her flesh - broke through - and tasted her own blood as he held her still beneath him with the force of it - allowing his hands the freedom to hold her however they wished.

There was nothing human about the pair as they joined. A uniquely violent and powerful demonstrations of fitness caused Nya's body to infuse itself with pleasure. Chemicals she'd never felt before flooded her system and as the two of them united their bodies she could physically feel the sharp ovulation that halted her heat cycle. It was rare that one mating was enough to cause a forest cats body to release its eggs in anticipation of a fruitful union. But Shai's sheer force, his drive to be what his bondmate needed in that instant, caused the completion of a cycle and the advent of a new one with each of his body's violent thrusts.

He knew he was hurting Nya - such actions could result in nothing less. She knew it too, but she didn't care. The kelvic was going on pure instinct, thoughtless, and taking in information from tactile sources. Scents - the smell of them together mingled with their blood and sweat - was the only smell that filled her senses. Even the soil beneath her nose humbled and faded into nothing in the face of what Shai did to her body. He left no room for error, no uncertainty, and the result brought Nya into a new place in life - into motherhood.

And so it was she screamed in pleasure long before he was ready to conclude - because he was stronger, more fit, wholly suitable - and lay sprawled beneath him, her knees long since having collapsed as he concluded what she'd started. He would have his own pleasure to deal with, to wade through, before he'd once more notice the forest cat in human guise still beneath him - their bodies locked together.

Nya panted with her eyes open. Long brindled hair was twisted and flung widly about. The cheek that was nearest him, facing him, was abraded by some sort of scrap where he'd forced her head to the ground. Her entire body with its pale skin was darkening here and there with bruising, some even in the shape of his fingers. Her breath was harsh and she shook periodically, as if little earthquakes of over stimulation still flooded her nervous system, firing off her muscles involuntarily. Nya looked like she was in shock, though Shai could feel through the bond she was not. She was fine. In fact, she was better than fine.

And with his own release, he knew one truth only moments later...

The heat was easing off, falling away as abruptly as it had set in, and through the link he could feel the deliciousness of the damage he had wrought and how much she had needed it. A lesser mating, a weaker one, would have caused it to linger and he'd be at this for days. But he'd knew what she needed, what was called for, and provided it. That could mean only one thing. It was fast, furious, but there was no doubt in either of their minds. They hadn't planned it. Shai had insisted they'd find more herbs at a cottage crofters place to quell the forest cats nature... but they hadn't had time.

As she blinked, started to speak, but then seemed to give up the effort and then simply tilted her head to look at him... he knew she would be pregnant. It happened just that fast. In humans it would take days, and then it was hit or miss. Weeks later one could be sure, perhaps when a menstruation was missed or a perfectly good breakfast was thrown up. But still locked inside his mate, he knew the truth of it. Kelvics were different. They weren't human. By fulfilling her needs he'd solidified their bonds even more fully. And he would have his family... and have even more cycles with more children to look forward too.

Beneath him Nya closed her soft moss green eyes with a sigh of contentment. There was no anger left in her, only pleasure and satisfaction. He could feel the sensations within her just as he knew she was feeling his own. In a way, moreso than on the day of their marriage, Nya was now an adult, even at the tender age of... how old were they both anyhow? Two and thirty? Their birthdays were near. Very near, Nya realized suddenly which caused her to smile in her semi-dazed state. Three was a good age to become a mother. And, in a deeper sense, she was fulfilling something for her mate that she'd longed to do for the whole time they'd known each other. She would be giving him children - a family - filling a hole in Shai that her simple presence in his life had started to patch but could not completely erase.

The forest cat remained still, content to feel her mate's weight over her, patient for him to soften and slip free of her before she would turn and wrap herself around him.

Lest He Forget She's Not Human (Abashai)

Postby Abashai on May 29th, 2010, 6:51 pm

As Abashai continued his assault on Nya's body, her response confirmed he was fulfilling his role. Her yowls and snarls were angry but trailed by moans that indicated satisfaction, and though he knew his grip on her was painful, his mate shifted and arched even more for her mate to allow him deeper penetration and greater opportunity for success.

Shai took advantage of Nya's offering and, increasing the pressure of his bite to discourage her from trying to escape, both of his hands gripped her hips to pull her violently, rhythmically against him.

Muscles aching and purpose focused, Shai did not miss a beat as Nya's legs finally collapsed beneath her. Convinced she no longer had the strength or will to flee, the Benshira released the hold his jaws had on her and held himself over her by his arms until she screamed one last time. The bond and her pleasure-laced cry told him Nya's body had completed its preparation. With a final, furious series of thrusts, Abashai, with a euphoric throaty groan, feverishly released his seed within his wife.

Collapsing half on Nya, half next to her and still inside her, The Benshira panted audibly. In the sudden quiet, only the sound of their labored breath and occasional soft moans could be heard, the primal mania Nya's hormones had conjured in Abashai receded, along with his gnosis djed. He could tell every injury, the sting of the bite wounds in his leg and shoulder, the throbbing of his cheekbone where Nya's fist had glanced off of it, the numerous scratches and scrapes. His muscles were instantly sore, and that which was still inside her ached. He slowly raised his arm to wipe her blood, sweat and his own crimson-tainted saliva from his mouth. Nya and Shai were a tangle of arms and legs and matted hair. They were smeared with blood and sweat, painted with bruises and welts, grit and dry leaves stuck to their skin.

Abashai knew what had burned in Nya's feline physique been appeased. In the following chimes, the bond confirmed the couple's violent efforts were not in vain, Nya was pregnant. His complete sense of contentment became a profound sense of joy. This amazing creature had become his bondmate, his wife and now, the mother of his first child. Words would not come, so he simply lay next to his remarkable mate, a smile spreading across his face, causing him to wince in pain. He would encourage more matings, carefully controlled with herbs and planned for places away from Talderia and civilization. Abashai vowed he and only he would be the only male of any species to impregnate his Nya. In a strange, primal way, he looked forward to it.

Shai slipped from Nya, and she turned to curl up against him. He removed the leather belt from around her neck, then embraced her, ignoring the scent of blood and sweat and sex. He gazed at her, found the crimson-stained, filthy, wild-haired woman....kelvic, to be the most beautiful female he had ever known. "Thank you Nya, for giving me a family. I love you." the anger, frustration and fever had left Nya, and again she was the Nya he was familiar with. He pressed his lips against hers, leaving them linger until he fell into a sound, content sleep.

As such, as of the end of June I will not be accepting any new quests/modded threads until I finish some of the ones I've already started/agreed to. My apologies for this, but I don't want to be unfair to those who have been waiting for replies!
