Slowly meandering through Lhavit's peaks is a well-maintained walking trail for the safety of the citizens of Lhavit. Dubbed the Trail of Waterfalls, this scenic byway meanders through each of the Misty Peaks, and then finally winding down near Port Tranquil at its mid-point. From there the trail continues onwards, meandering back up to the same peak it begins on.
The Trail of Waterfalls is famous for its ease of walking, most of its pathway set up on raised wooden planks. Benches are set up next to gazing pools and some of the more popular attractions along the trail. At the mid-way point of the Trail, just before it turn around and begins to lead back to Lhavit, there is a picnic spot. One of the nicer areas of the beach, it is not as rocky or cold as the rest of the coast, sheltered somewhat by a rock outcropping. The raised pathway crosses ponds, creeks, and weaves in and out of forest and across rocky embankments. The views of the sky in places are incredible, while the shelter of the forest is comforting in other places. There are many individual locations along the Trail of Waterfalls, most of which are just off the raised path, such as the Rainbow Falls. They all have their own unique qualities be they meadows, gazing ponds, or even the small waterfalls the trail is noted for.
In total The Trail of Waterfalls can take several hours to walk completely depending on one's pace and how often they stop, and it's not uncommon for families, friends, and lovers to make a complete day out of walking the entire trail.
Smaller animals and more friendly creatures are common sights along the trail and near the notable spots of interest, while larger and more dangerous animals are rare sighs, having learned to keep away. However, that does not mean they always keep away, and there are times when the leisurely stroll becomes much more anxiety inducing when a mountain lion or other such predator is spotted near the trail. The trail is particularly beautiful at night; while a slightly more difficult walk due to the darkened sky and new shadows along the path, there is still plenty of illumination due to lanterns set up along the wooden walkway. Walking by the light of the moon, those who decide to take a nighttime stroll will witness a myriad of gently glowing plants and flowers, and find themselves guided by the multi-hued lights of the prismflies. There are a few spots along the path in particular that provide a breathtaking view of the stars when viewed at night.
