I'm incredibly excited about Divine Connections. I think its going to make things a lot easier in terms of gnosis and faith.

Leave it to the mastermind, :P

Life isn’t about impressing anyone other than yourself. Someday it is my greatest hope that everyone everywhere is all going to wake up and realize this. If you live to impress others, you are only living for them and not yourself. We each have different values and motivations. Every one of us has needs that ultimately may or may not match up to the needs of those around us. Sure there are basic needs that everyone shares, things like food, shelter, and socialization. But the truth is that life goes far beyond that. When you have enough to eat, when you have an income that supports you, and when you get to a place you suddenly feel a bit of comfort, then other things become important. Deeper things like passion.

Passion is an absolutely amazing concept that goes so far beyond a deep rooted emotion. Passion is where possibility is unveiled. By embracing your passion, your potential is released. The strong get stronger, life gets more intense, and beauty becomes breathless. Passion is where the joy becomes more joyous. Everyone should get a chance to be there, fully enjoying life lived with passion. It is a fulfilling and satisfying place to be. When you are passionate about something, you know what you love and you end up doing what you love, not living in the shadows of others needs and wants. Passion makes us work, really work. We get smarter, more intense, and are willing to go an extra mile or ten thousand because we’ve found the place we love to be and the work we love to do. Passion is where the term labor of love comes in.

Mizahar is just one of my passions. But it is a big passion. So I make no excuse for it and instead embrace it wholeheartedly and unashamedly. I hope you have passions in your life that you do the same with.

I usually almost never post in scraps, but this posted stood out to me! I really respect you for saying this and whole heartedly agree Jen! I always say, do what excites you the most in life. It's just another way to say what you just wrote. I have a lot of respect for the person who stands up for their beliefs, even if it's just their pass time or hobby.

I am not afraid to tell anyone I play Mizahar and nor should anyone in this website! Passion for the win!

Sincerely and with mad respect,
Imass

I Love Reading Romance On Mizahar
That is, until I don't love reading romance on Mizahar.

I seriously do love a good story that has romance and intrigue and lots of issues of conflict. I occasionally even get involved with them. But when I saw this poster today on the net, I just had to laugh and laugh and laugh. This is the romance I hate reading. It's the angsty we-cant-be-together kind. It reminded me of something and I had to post it here so I wouldn't forget that even in stories, the right kind of love is the easy kind. And the hard impossible kind of love is the wrong kind.

The sign says it all.

I'd like to respectfully disagree with you there, Goss. I think what you said is accurate 9 times out of 10, and 9 times out of 10 in that remaining 1 the angsty we-cant-be-together stories are spawned of stupid adolescent (mis)ideals of love. However I think that there is room for it in good writing, however slight. Life has a way of making pretty crazy conditions for people, and sometimes love is great but just too complicated to work. Especially when you start getting into non-traditional love.

But then I guess we get into the realm of arguing what kind of love is the wrong kind, which people can have quite passionate opinions on, so I won't step on toes and get too far into that unless you want to :)

Preach.

Thundiirn, my personal view is this. Unconditional love is just that - without condition. Life has it's own plans but ultimately, angsty comes from within. If your love is unconditional, then it's right. Otherwise it isn't. Very simple. Regardless of whatever external influences exist. But like I said, that's me.

I totally get what your saying, and there's always exceptions - you are absolutely right. And your spot on with the whole angsty teen or tweener romances. But I'd like to see some variety other than pain pain pain in terms of Mizaharian Romances. And I have never thought race should be enough to break up love, but it does a whole hell of a lot around here. I don't even think species should get in the way. I think energy connections are energy connections and those are amazing stories.

Sybel, well said also.

I guess I'm just longing for something more. I'm longing for that pure wow factor that makes me want to read every thread that couple writes. I know its out there. I just have to find it.
