Home of the Konti people, this ivory city is built of native konti stone half in and half out of the sea. Its borders touch the Silverwood, and stretch upwards towards Silver Lake, home of the infamous konti vision water. [Lore]

Old Friends, New Days [Blythe]

Keyta was excited as she followed Blythe into the room and then realized her bag was on the other end of the house. Not really feeling like walking all of the way over there, she just walked over to the drawer like Blythe suggested and grabbed the paper and charcoal. She first put the paper on the bed, then the charcoal on the paper, then she began to climb the bed until she could finally get a leg high enough to roll over onto the bed. She grabbed the paper and the charcoal and shifted over next to the konti, and leaned up against her like before. Her warmth was soothing and feeling it was enough to make Keyta happy, although she wasn't completely sure as to why. Keyta then crossed her legs and placed the paper in her lap and began to draw with the charcoal, as it stained her hands and the paper alike. Several lines started this picture, most started as squares, all lined up with one another, then some windows, and lastly doors. Almost six of these were made before a couple of extra boxes were made under them, much smaller than these houses, and little circles representing food. Then, Keyta began to draw a lot of people, all over the place, some on top of their homes, others in their homes, behind carts, in front of them, or just outside. The city of Ravok now on paper, in comparison to this place, it truly was just a horrible place to be. Then, something enticed her to draw more, though she didn't even know what to draw, but she followed her instinct. First it was too circles above the city, then the outline of those circles grew thick, afterwards, she started to shade in a large section of the sky, not actually paying attention to what she was drawing. Suddenly her hand stopped, she slowly lifted it and saw two large eyes hovering over the city, looking right at her, and a small outline of a bat, but it was upside down, like it was falling. The drawing scared her, and she quickly removed it from site, looking at the blank paper, unsure what to do now...

Blythe smiled as the Kelvic leaned up against her, although it was on her writing arm, she didn't much care, seeing as the words weren't flowing as freely as the waters that surrounded the island. Her lavender colored eyes sparkled as she peered over onto the girl's paper as she began to draw, not sure what she was making out at first, before turning away and trying to work on her own poetry. Still the words stalled; as though too fragile to be touched even by the gentle recesses of her mind.

But slowly, the Konti began to force them out:

The softer wing,
carries the harsher word,
although it is concealed
behind its mask
of purity.

It was complete rubbish, she knew. Nonsensical. A waste of scrawled letters and elder page. But, Blythe supposed, it was better than simply staring, seeming as though she weren't allowing herself to enjoy the time she was getting to spend with her bondmate, simply relaxing. Smiling, she turned to her companion. "Any luck?" she asked, expecting her to nod or shake her head in response, "or are you struggling just as much as I am?"

She paused.

"Perhaps we should go to sleep if nothing comes. It's easiest not to force it," Blythe whispered. "And rest will allow us to wait out the storm, before coming back to everything..."

Old Friends, New Days [Blythe]

The kelvic looked at her friend with an uneasy look, still terrified of the picture she drew that hid under her leg furthest from Blythe. With her thoughts still racing in her mind, Keyta found the konti's suggestion to be one that couldn't have come at a better time. With little hesitation, the small child nodded her head, ready to sleep, and perhaps forget about the horrors that the city kept bringing back to her. So with little effort, Keyta jumped from the bed, the paper still in hand up against her leg, and while still facing away, she took the paper, folded it as quickly as she could, and stuffed it under her shirt. Afterwards, the girl turned around, smiled a weak smile to her companion, and waited for her. With everything she had, she tried her best to ignore the burning sensation of fear that Ravok had left with her to haunt her, but with very little success as it just continuously got worse. The city that introduced slavery to her and cold hearted people managed to plague the young one's mind and saw no reason to let her go. The strange presence she once felt there only burned in the back of her head, never allowing her to forget, or to move on, but she was too afraid to face the strange pair of eyes.

Blythe smiled as she closed the book and rose from the bed, soon setting it down on the night stand before looking up at her companion. "Would you like to change?" she asked. "Sayuri may have something you can borrow. You're about the same size," Blythe explained before falling silent a moment. "If not, just make yourself comfortable while I do, and we'll be asleep soon enough."

Another silence fell between them as Blythe stepped over to the old rocker, and plucked the gown she had set aside from the seat. In a heartbeat, her dress had fallen to a flowing puddle around her ankles, and in another, the sleeping gown was clinging to her flesh. She smiled weakly as she pulled her blonde mane from the fabric and returned to bed. Soon tucking herself under the covers before beckoning to her companion, thinking she may want to cuddle for the night, due to the storm.

When she had come or settled elsewhere, Blythe would close her eyes, and let sleep take her.

Old Friends, New Days [Blythe]

With Blythe leaving the room, the kelvic swiftly shed her clothing, tossing them into a corner and then placing the nightgown left for her. The clothing was soft, made her feel special, like this was something specifically picked just for her. The thought of this made her blush as she grabbed the cloth and admired it more, thinking of what that means between herself and Blythe. Excited as always, she patiently awaited for Blythe to return to her bed room so she would be able to cuddle with her in her bed. The storm was still yelling out for her, but it was almost completely dampened out with just the feeling for Blythe the little girl was beginning to realize. Once she was with her konti friend once more, the warmth being shared between the two of them was incredible, made her feel the heart beat the two of them had, as they resonated almost perfectly, and then she fell asleep, listening to the matching beats of their hearts.

Additional Notes :
This was a nice and heartwarming thread between the two of you. I think Keyta's inherent instincts as a bat were well played out, and only had one note on that. Just remember that Kelvic transformations are physically draining on the Kelvic, one is enough to get a real appetite going, two is enough to start seriously wearing you out physically. While the technique Keyta used to get the jump (literally) on Blythe was clever, it is an extremely unrealistic, and inefficient fighting method considering how much energy the Kelvic has to output to make it successful and Keyta should have been exhausted after she did that, just for future reference.

Blythe I adored some of your descriptions in this thread, as well as just the adorable relationship between Konti and Kelvic sleeping in a little cottage in the woods together, it was a pleasure to read.

Keyta I noticed you didn't have any points in Unarmed Combat, but one in Brawling, if you'd rather those points be in Unarmed as opposed to Brawling, just shoot me a PM and I'll edit this post.
