Winter's Justice (Iosha/Oitera)

Postby Oitera on January 18th, 2013, 6:33 pm

The way Iosha and Red was hugging and talking didn't seem quite normal for two friends. Especially if they were an Endal and someone from another cast. Well, she didn't know for sure since she hadn't seen any Endals interact like that to anyone. But she guessed it was that way. But then she thought about what she thought for just a second ago 'didn't seem quite normal for two friends'. Maybe they weren't just friends, either they really was a couple or not. They could still be in love with each other. But they could be just friends after all as well, just quite good friends. Well, it would be a mystery for her since she wouldn't ask any of them. Making an Endal mad was never good, but even worse in the forests and this time of the year. She knew Red was a very nice guy and probably wouldn't do anything, but everyone got a limit and the Inartas limit was never far away. So it was best to just leave it alone.

But when Red told them it was time to go to Daghul all these thoughts of hers was blown away like clouds on the sky a windy day. She skipped over to them, almost smiling from ear to ear and looking really excited. When they entered Daghuls room her gase almost immediately turned to the Wind Eagle. She wanted to run over to pet him like last time but at the same time she didn't want to intrude on any private area of his, so it ended up with her just jumping a little to get something to do with her exitement. But without thinking of it she was slowly moving towards Daghuls head, until Red asked them to place their bags beside his. She turned around to drop her bag beside his, but she wasn't sure if that included her bow and quiver as well or not. So she compromised by holding them in her hand, ready to drop them beside her bag if he told her to.

Winter's Justice (Iosha/Oitera)

Postby Iosha on January 20th, 2013, 7:38 am

When Red told them to follow him, Iosha grabbed her equipment and followed Red into the aerie. She smiled at Daghul and gave him a friendly wave when they entered the room. Iosha set her equipment in the pile with the other equipment. She took some of the rope and started to tie bags and her snowshoes together. She looked at Red and said softly, “I bought a four man tent the other day, so it should be able to fit all three of us. I just wanted to let you know before we set out into the wilderness. Well let get this equipment tied up, so we can set out on our hunt.” She followed the instruction Red gave her about tying the gear together. She made sure her knots were tight and secure before moving to the next bag. She started to wonder about the place Red was going to take them. She was happy. She brought her journal on the trip to document her experience with the Unforgiving in the winter. Honestly, Iosha was nervous about the whole trip because it would be only the three of them in the wilderness. Last time, she spent a long period of time in the wilderness, She was in a hunting band with forty men and women in the camp, so it wasn't as intimating to her at the time. When she looked at Red, she noticed the confidence in his eyes as he told her how to tie her knots. She tighten the last knot on the bag, and she went onto the next bag and began the whole process again.

Iosha looked over at Oitera, and she could tell the young woman was excited about the trip. She watched the girl out of the corner of the eye and said quietly to Red, “So how did you meet Oitera, Red?” She smirked to herself, tighten a knot, and continued, “She told me that you two had a little well...adventure. She seemed embarrassed about it..so what happened during the adventure?” She warned Oitera that she perked her interest in the adventure Red and her shared, so she figured she start probing for details whenever she had the chance. Iosha didn't know much about the other companion in the group. During introductions, the Oitera didn't open up to her as much as Iosha had hoped she would, but she knew it would take time, so while she waited for the girl to open up, she would start asking question about her from Red.

Once the bags were secured in the rope, Iosha knew she should greet Daghul properly. She stood up and walked in front of the giant bird. She smiled at the eagle and said out loud to him, “It is good seeing you again Daghul, and thank you for taking us out into the wilderness. It should be a lot of fun if I don't die from exposure.” She laughed at her own bad joke, but she figured Red would tell her what he said. She smiled at the large bird and said softly, “If it gets too cold for you out there, I have a winter blanket to put over your head. It should keep you warm. Well I will talk to you again my friend. I should get back to Red and see if he needs assistance.” Iosha was starting to get excited about the flying part of the trip. She walked up to Red and Oitera and ask softly, “Is there anything else you need help with Red, or are you fine and ready to go?”

Once they all had their bags in one place Red started to tie them together, and Io came over to offer her help which the Endal went to showing her how to tie different simple knots that he had used. Oitera seemed mesmerized by Daghul who he was sure was loving the attention and even bowed his head down to her level to let her pet him.

Mean while Io decided to ask about how he and Oitera met. It was a adventure meeting that girl letting out a gentle laugh he looked at Iosha in the eyes never really expecting the dark violet eyes to be there "Well that is a fun memory" he finished tieing a knot then looked back "a few months ago she decided to climb a cliff face and lucky for her Daghul and I were out when she fell" he stood up now that he was done with the gear "after that we decided to climb the cliff together and fly back done".

Red gave a smile to Io and then went to listening as she greeted Daghul who sent his greetings back through the Endal. That was it, all was ready to go. "nope we are all set" he said to Io "thanks though" he gave her a friend smile then started over to Daghul "If ya'll are ready we can get going?"

Winter's Justice (Iosha/Oitera)

Since Red didn't seem to want her to place her quiver and bow with her bag she swung her quiver up on her back again. Then she once again looked over at Daghul who now was lowering his head. Since he had done the same last time he had allowed her to pet him, she quickly moved to his head and started petting him. This she still saw as a privilege, to get to pet a Wind Eagle wasn't something you did every day - well, unless you're an Endal - and it wasn't rare that you didn't get to pet one in a whole life time. She still hopped to maybe one day become an Endal herself, but she already had had more luck than most Inarta to get to know a nice Endal and pet his Wind Eagle.

She backed away a little when Iosha came over to talk to Daghul, but she still stayed close enough to be able to pet him. By now Oitera had got a feeling that Iosha must be quite a good friend to Daghul and Red, and maybe something more than a friend to Red. Well, maybe to Daghul as well, she didn't quite know how that mind thing worked between an Endal and the Eagle. But this wasn't a subject she was going to talk about, unless they talked to her about it. But she would probably, whether she really wanted to or not, study them closer than she normally would to see if she could figure it out. Maybe she could get some information out of Iosha as well, mainly cause it would probably look more normal since Iosha had asked her so much.

When Red asked if they were ready to go, Oitera quickly turned around, having an excited expression that she tried to and failed to hide. She didn't really know what to do, she didn't know how to get up and if she should get up on Daghul. And where should she sit in that case? When these questions and a few more popped up her smile slowly vanished until she managed to push them away again. She was quite sure either Red or Daghul was going to help her to get onto Daghul.

Winter's Justice (Iosha/Oitera)

Postby Iosha on January 25th, 2013, 4:45 am

When Red started to walk to Daghul and Oitera, Iosha reached out and grabbed his arm to stop him. When she got his attention, she moved her hair from her eyes and said softy, so Oitera couldn't hear her, “Red, I was watching your friend Oitera with Daghul, and by the look in her eye, I can tell she sees her future in the eyes of the wind eagle...” Iosha continued to talk with a giggle in her voice, “I think I am started to sound like a seer isn't that a scary thought!...Anyways, the point I am taking to long to make is that maybe you should let her fly Daghul to the campsite, or you should let her fly home.” She looked at the teenager, smiles warmly at her, and said to Red with looking at him “I think it would help Oitera realizes her dreams of becoming a Endal isn't too far away...than they seem.” Iosha looked back at Red and said, “It is your call since you are Daghul's Endal. Besides you can easily take over if she gets into trouble..” She reached up and laid a white hand on his well muscled shoulder, “Oh I am ready to go Red.”

Iosha wanted to say something to Oitera. They went on their adventure as Red called it when he first told her about the idea. Iosha walked passed Red and stood next to Oitera and said softly to her, “I learned when talking to Daghul in the fall that he is a elegant conservationist.” She flashed the wind eagle a charming grin and teased Red as he approached them, “Well, if Red could get the interpretation right than he would sound vary elegant. Isn't that right Daghul?” She looked at Oitera and continued softly, “Maybe during your conversations with Daghul he might respond to you, Oitera.” Iosha gave her a wink and said with a grin to Red, “I think my job of spreading konti wisdom is done now. Come Red daylight burning!” Feeling butterflies in her stomach, Iosha lifted her white fur hood over her head, put on her mittens, and waited for Red to help her up onto the Wind Eagle.

Iosha's suggestion was a sweet gesture and if it worked that way Red would be more then glad to offer the idea up to Daghul, but flying a Wind Eagle was more of reacting to what Daghul did. Though Red found himself wanting to try and make Iosha's idea work maybe there was a way to give her a little bit of the control. With flying a Wind Eagle with others one took the lead rider position on the Eagle normally the front of the eagle, and then the others fall in behind. sitting there meant that you had to lead the others in reaction.

'What do you think Daghul' Red sent through his mind as he sent the idea, and the bird sent back his approval, though he did send a feeling of wariness to the idea which Red understood, and said he would do his part to keep things stable.

Walking over to Daghul just as Iosha told him to hurry up he grinned and said "Oitera you up first I think you can take care of the job of watching the skies and being lead rider today, eh?" he offered his hand to help her up onto Daghul who bent down for her. Once she had gotten up onto Daghul Red turned to Iosha and said "your up" he gave her a wink and offered her his hand, then helped her up onto the Eagle as well.

With both of them on top of Daghul the Endal went to explain what they needed to do "As Daghul turns make sure that you lean the other way to keep things balanced" he showed the both by using one hand as the eagle and the other as the rider and then shifted the eagle hand to the left, and the rider to the right. "Remember to also hold on with your knees, and you hands if you need too, and if you ever feel like you might fall just let me know, Daghul will keep it stead as possible today" he grinned and then moved their stuff to where Daghul could gran hold of it.

Lastly Red climbed up Daghul's back and slide in behind Iosha till her was right behind her, and then he gave the Wind Eagle the go ahead and the bird took to the sky grabbing the bags as they shot out of the Endal's home and started to head towards the sky.

A cool breeze flew pass the riders as Daghul gained height into the sky, and then glided through the air high above the reach heading out into the unforgiving. The flight was stead with as little turns as possible to aid the two new riders and make it easier for Daghul to fly. It was going to be a longish flight, and Red kept his eyes open for if he needed to hold anyone on the bird. That's when he came up with the plan to wrap a arm around Iosha waist hoping it would be accepted, and keep her warm, plus make her feel more secured.

Winter's Justice (Iosha/Oitera)

Postby Oitera on February 1st, 2013, 7:10 pm

Oitera looked at Red and Iosha as they was talking, well mumbling, to each other. She couldn't hear what they said, but she wondered if it had anything to do with the feelings she thought they had for each other. Maybe they were planning something. She decided to ignore it and concentrated on Daghul instead, starting to pet him again since Iosha and Red didn't seem like they were going to leave right then. She started to look for the small changes of colours on Daghuls feathers, almost got hyptonized by it and she was rather following the colour changes than petting him. Oitera was to concentrated on Daghul and didn't notice when Red and Iosha was stopping their mumble and Iosha came over to her.

The result of that was Oitera getting what felt like a small heart attack when Iosha started talking to her, though she didn't jump so they probably didn't notice. Cause of that and the fact that she didn't really get what she said, Oitera just understood that Iosha told her to speak with Daghul to get some tips about something. Just after recovering from her "heart attack" Red started talking to her, she didn't get what that meant just then and just nodded and got up on Daghul with Red's help. But as Daghul was heading towards the skies, she started to wonder what this "leader rider" thing was and what she was supposed to do. She started to get very nervous about it and leaned down over Daghul and whispered, totally forgetting Red would probably hear it "What am I supposed to do? What does Red want me to do? What is a lead rider?" Her voice got shriller as she was talking, and as she started to think about the consequences if she would fail and if Daghul wouldn't be able to fly correctly. It wouldn't be surprising if Red and Iosha would notice her nervousness soon, if they hadn't noticed it already.

Winter's Justice (Iosha/Oitera)

Postby Iosha on February 3rd, 2013, 6:59 am

When Daghul took flight, Iosha just laughed at the sensation of falling for just a moment. This was her second flight on Daghul, and she knew enough to hold onto Daghul with her legs. She smiled to herself as the four of them soar through the air. Suddenly, Iosha felt Red's arms around her waist, and she smirks to herself and placed a mitten hand on his hand. Iosha watched Oitera closely to wonder how the girl was enjoying her first time as lead rider. Iosha frowned when the girl leaned over and whispered to Daghul in utter confusion. The teenager was terrified, and Iosha knew Red was probably to busy paying attention to the sky. Iosha squeezed his hand, reached out, and put a hand on the scared teen's shoulder. Iosha leaned forward and said loud enough to Oitera, so she could her it over the wind, “Oitera I know your scared, but you can do this, and you know it deep down in your heart. You just have to believe in yourself.” As Iosha leaned back into position, she knew what she said sound a little cliché, but she heard it from her mother many times when she was younger. Iosha gained her confidence knowing someone had confidence in her. Even if Iosha was a complete stranger to Oitera, she hoped the teenager took her words to heart.

Feeling a cold wind hit her, Iosha decided to lean back and resting her hooded head on Red's chest. She looked up with a smile and said softly, “I got to warn you Red. I am kind of a freeze baby, so if I snuggle up to you, it is just me trying to steal your warmth.” She smirked to herself and noticed a small icicle forming on his beard and said with a giggle, “By the way Red your beard is starting to grow icicles...” Iosha squeezed his hand feeling quite safe and secure with his arm around her, and she started looking around and captivated by the snow caped peaks of the Unforgiving. Iosha looked down at the frozen wilderness and thought to herself that her father and his Wind Eagles bodies were laying beneath the snow. She wasn't trying think these depressing thoughts, but she knew she will have to search for their remains in the spring and summer months. She heard many rumors of the strange creatures that dwell in the forests surrounding Mt. Skyinarta, and she need to ask Red to confirm her fears, “When I arrived in Wind Reach, I heard rumors of monsters residing in the Inarta forest. Are the rumors true?”
