Timestamp: 33rd Day of Winter 512
Location: Canopy Training Arena

While his home was practically a gym in and of itself, full of his training equipment, Typhos began to miss the solace of a large area of practice. He missed the free space that would allow him to jump, run, and roll without destroying his home. Being a fighter, Typhos always wished to practice his combat abilities which made the Canopy Training Arena one of few places he often spent hours on end practicing in. A chilled, light fog hung in the air huddled over the tree tops giving the canopy an an eerie sensation that distant eyes were always watching from the tree tops. Always waiting in the gray horizon of haze.

It was times like this, in the cold, that Typhos felt like the world was alive and waiting for peace. His emerald eyes fell from the fog above to the ground below as the itch of wood beneath him offered a pleasant distraction from the nipping cold whenever the bare-chested Isur stopped moving. Upon entering into the training area meant for unarmed combat, Typhos stood in front of a wooden dummy. Bending his knees to squat down until his elbows were practically touching his thighs just above his knees. Keeping his back straight while squatting to take the starting stance of a wrestler.

HIs crouch caused his legs to tense in preparation to generate the required force required to lunge at the dummy. Pushing off of the ground with his left foot, Typhos took a massive step with his lead right leg which landed between the false wooden lumber that created the dummies legs. As this right shoulder smashed into the hips of the dummy, he dropped his right knee slightly and followed through with the movement. Penetrating the dummies stance as his arms gripped around to hug the back of the dummies thighs.

If it were a true man he fought, the result of the tackle would have ended in a double leg take down. At the moment Typhos ust wished to practice his technique up until to the follow through, and skipping the actual take down. Taking a step back away from the dummy he bend down into another squat readying himself to tackle the wooden man for a second time.

There were only two people currently occupying the Canopy. Typhos himself who was currently practicing alone, and a large Jamoura named Shorp who worked as an overseer of the training grounds. Shorp himself sat near the entrance of the area watching Ty with stoic eyes as he practiced.

Walking into the canopy trainign area Xi took a deep swallowing breath of cold crisp air. the swallowing fill greeting his lungs and awakening him to a full range of motion. Rolling his shoulders he stepped into the training area the air growing frosty with his breath as he exhaled. It was a good day to practice. He needed to keep his skills sharp but before all fo that he needed to keep hos body sharp. Vaulting over the fence of the unarmed training area he caught himself before flipping up into a hand stand. Today he'd left all of his weaponry at his room in the tavern. Today was just him and his own skills. Holding himself upside down in a hand stand he began to walk forwards slowly supporting his own huge weight with both arms and his walking though it was slow and unbalanced, was walking none the less. He waddled his way towards the training dummies and a person with a shorter stature and a green arm. Training with a wooden dummy. Twas to be expected after all except from Xi and the jamoura it was only him here. Si smiles lightly but more of a grin than anything else before walking a single lap around the training are upside down in a hand stand . Before collapsing with a loud thud at the end of it. He'd turned his arms to noodles. But then again he'd just proven how strong he was, to be able to walk around supporting his weight on his arms for that long.

The sounds of a newcomer caused Typhos to glance towards the persons direction. He couldn't help but be impressed by the flipping, and upper body strength of the man. Turning his attention back towards the dumb, he contemplated practicing his leg strength rather than his take downs for a moment. Rather than tackling the dummy, Typhos began some body weight resistance exercises. While still in his squatting wrestling stance, he began to squat down even further, no longer holding his thighs parallel to the floor as he slid his feet to a greater distance than shoulder width. His rear need nearly touching the ground as he exploded into a sudden jump as high as possible, leaping a foot off of the ground. Soon returning to the ground in the standing position. Infused with new purpose, the persistent Isur began to focus on his agility with a sudden spree of Jump squats.

Preforming a controlled landing after one of his jumps, he stood with his feet at approximately his shoulder width apart. Not wanting to fully stop his takedown training, Typhos added an aspect of the takedown drill to his current routine. Deciding rather than do jumping squats, that he would now simply preform jumping lunges.

Quickly stepping forward into a lunging with his left foot. Bend his left leg as he knelt down yet not allowing the knee of his back leg to touch onto the ground. The step he took forward mimicking the process in a wrestling take down just before the followthrough motion before taking the opponent to the ground. With both of his legs bent, the short two hundred eighty five pound Isur jumped into the air again. While in mid-air he quickly switched his right leg forward and moved his left leg backwards. THe act itself appearing as if he were just walking on air, as he landed onto the ground into another lunge position. He repeated twenty more jumping lunges in a row before deciding to give his legs a small break.

Looking around, he glanced at the other man in the training area who had inspired him to work on his legs and acrobatics. The man had been walking around on his hands for some time which reaffirmed the strangers impressive upper body strength. Shaking out his legs, the shirtless isur decided to introduce himself as he walked over to where the man laid on the ground.

"Well met, friend.... Quite an impressive display." Said as he looked down to the man he now slightly loomed over. "I am called Typhos Everstorm." He was unsure if the man wanted to just lay there or stand up, but just incase he wished to stand. Typhos stuck out his normal right arm to offer the stranger a hand in standing.

Well the guy with the green arm seemed to want to train a lot as well, jumping multiple times with different motions in mid air...Giving the illusion of walking in the air, but it wasn't really an illusion from what Xi saw, every time he landed he seemed to edge a little further along the ground. Still at the end of this flourished and exaggerated display he made his way towards Xi who'd been recuperation upon the ground and letting his arms est. After all he needed to continually boost his strength and warm up before having a run at any form of skill training. Though the fairly broad if not short man offered his hand to Xi, the normal looking one. Then the man offered his name, after a some what friendly greeting. Anything Xi did those was dubious towards himself as he never viewed much of any thing he did was "impressive". Helping himself up with typhos' arm Xi grinned lightly and towered over the smaller man by over a foot and a half. Before speaking back. Well typhos i must say the "air walking " was quite impressive in and of it'self and gauging from what you did with that training dummy me thinks your a fighter of sorts. Since we seem to be the only two here at the moment would you care for a spar? after all i keep thinking my own skills are getting a little rusty."

A grin began to spread across his lips as he helped the human up to his feet. "Simple jumps to help strength my legs in case I need to evade an attack. The air-walk exercise is quite effective and I throughly recommend you try them sometime." While patting his outer thighs with the palms of his hands to loosen his leg muscles, Typhos took note that the man didn't give his name in an introduction. While the at was slightly rude, he did not push the matter. "Let us prove our mettle together than my friend. I would be honored to spar with you."

He walked to the exact center of the canopy. Standing tall as he lifted his right arm up above his head, bending his elbow so his entire hand and forearm were extend behind his head and between his shoulder blades. Typhos began to stretch to warm up his right arms triceps. Using his left green granite-like hand to push his right elbow down. Switching arms, he repeated the same stretch before glancing towards Ximal.

Due to his use of wrestling and boxing Typhos took a mostly frontal stance reminiscent of his previous wrestlers stance, the only difference being his body was turned slightly sideways in hopes of making himself a smaller target like a boxer. He stood with hands held up high so that his hands were just below the top of his head. His green arm was used as his lead arm with his right arm closer to his head. His hands were partially open in a relaxed grip with his palms facing forward slightly towards each other. Just to loosen up his arms, he made forward jab with his left hand that an imaginary target before quickly following the blow with a curved right hook punch.

"We can begin whenever you are ready."

Xi rocked himself back and forth on his legs slowly before watching ty walk towards the centre of the unarmed ring. Well this was a surprise. a central fighter, and he was stretching. It was at this point Xi had forgotten that he hand't mentioned his own name. Xi stretched out his legs slowly before glancing at typhos stretching his arms too. Well perhaps this wouldn't be so one sided, still never the less Xi wouldn't fight at full power. Cracking his knuckles lightly Xi swirled his body to the front and brought his hands up infront of him open handed but half closed ready to grip or form a fist at a moments notice as well as strike with a chop of sorts. Still Xi lined himself up with typhos before saying politely. "Sorry typhos i forgot to mention my name. I'm Ximal, Just call me Xi. Everybody else does. " Smiling and taking a small strides towards the center he kept his frame of height, he was tall much taller than the person infront of him but he'd had experience fighting smaller foes. then came the words Xi was used to hearing " come at me when ready." And Xi took s step forwards before locking his eyes on ty's shoulders and hips. he was going to make sure that he kept everything under control. "It's more polite for the challenger to throw the first swing so please when your ready typhos. "

"Likewise you can just call me Ty." He stared back unflinching. While his eyes were serious with a set eyes on Xi's neck, his slight smirk betrayed his serious stare. Inside the isur felt as if he was going to enjoy the sparing bout win or lose. When the offer to make the first move was given he decided to keep his immediate approach simple. He waited, open hands loosely held up in a fighting potion.

He moved carefully, looking for the catch as his feet edged an inch closer to Ximal. Finally, he pressed off of the ground with his back right foot aiming to try and tackle himself into Xi's chest. The attack itself was no takedown, but rather he aimed to preform a bodylock clinch hold. Trying to forcefully smash his stocky chest to Ximal's body and wrap his arms around his opponent to lock his hands around Ximal's back. His desired end result was to squeeze Ximal's midsection tightly to complete the bodylock.

Xi held his posture facing on wards and then watched ty make a charge at him. Xi felt himself bracing watching ty's pacing, the heavy plodding run towards him, Xi watched the sprint. feeling out the rhythm and seeing what ty intended to do. It was possible that ty was going for a heavy full force tackle to try and bury Xi into the ground. But something about that seemed off so instead Xi would completely deny the attack and use ty's own momentum against him. Bringing his left arm out he snapped his and into a grip around the isur's left arm, noting in his head that it felt like he'd just latched hold of some of the thickest and heaviest steel he'd ever gripped. The damn thing was like a tree trunk. Still ai then brought his right arm across the back of ty's head at the base of the skull before bringing down all his body weight onto that point. A powerful and simple move but utterly painful feeling like the'd just landed head first in the ground from a simple move. Dropping right down to his knee and bringing all of his torso weight down with him as well he intended to bury ty's head into the ground of the training grounds if he didn't stop running.

Xi then brought his strength to bear in tilting the isur's arm back and up in to the air like a green beacon pulling lightly Xi now had him in both a painful situation and a submission position. Xi may have been on his knees but ty would have little control over his body or even be able to move his right arm. Xi them smirked lightly before speaking to typhos.
"Sorry about that. Just felt as if a bull was running at me"

A magnificent pain began to swell from the base of his neck as Ximal's right bicep squeezed against the back of Typhos's neck. It was a pain that proved how strong the humans arms really were, even after he had watched the man walk upside down around the canopy on his hands. As soon as he felt the arm slip behind his neck, Typhos stopped all forward movement because he didn't want to fall forward and slam his head into the ground. His body followed Ximal's as the man crouched to his knees, causing Ty to crouch down onto his own left knee. Despite the fact his left arm was being hyperextended and backwards, he knew by the grace of Izurdin that his green arm was strong enough to endure the painful strain. His first priority was to protect his airway. Reaching up with his free right hand he began to grip and pull down on Xi's forearm under his neck. As he pulled down Typhos turned his head in toward Ximal's ribs, the act removed one of his carotid arteries from being pinched just long enough for him to get a nice deep inhale of air for him to last longer. "Shyke, I…feel like a boulder… just fell on my neck." Each word was huffed out as quickly a possible.

Typhos then reached his right hand down between Ximal's thighs to grip his inner right thigh snugly. Summoning all the muscles in his legs, Typhos pushed his head upward against Xi's right arm as he began to rise from the crouched position.

His entire goal of the act was to hoist Ximal onto his his shoulders. Lifting his sparing partner by the grip on Xi's thigh as he stood up. Keeping his back straight while using the closeness and the motion of lifting to lessen the leverage being exerted onto his left arm. It was simple mechanic as the further up Ximal would possibly go, the lower his left arm would go giving him minor amounts of control enough to complete the movement. If the action had gotten far enough, Typhos would have completed a full wrestling firemans carry to escape the situation he was in. Tossing Ximal from his shoulders into a roll along the ground.

oocIf a visual is needed he in essence is trying to do a variation of this except only with the hand on his thigh to try and escape. : Image

Xi's griping drop technique had come off without a hitch however it was not perfect, his grip had been loosened at the last moment and the isur could still breath and fight back. He'd hoped to knock him out through lack of air in this one motion but instead he was met with a mix of both a compliment and an insult in the same phrase. Still Xi went to tighten his grip again before...He felt himself lifting. Was this small stature of man actually LIFTING him up and off of the ground? Good gods above this guy was strong. Xi felt himself almost floating now as his grip on the bright green arm was begin reduced to redundancy, as the isur regained control over his own appendage. Now Xi was resting atop the small man's shoulder even if his feet were still almost touching the ground he was horizontal across the isur's shoulder's before. He felt himself flipping, flying through the air but not head first no, he could fee the blood rushing to his head as he saw his lefgs in the air and then felt his entire body weight come crashing down onto the cold hard frozen ground. Though as his back collided with the ground eh could hear his back cracking in agreement and confirmation of what had just happened. Nothing was broken thankfully but flying jamoura shyke did that hurt.

Xi just lay on the floor for a few second collecting his breath and his thoughts, before saying with a slightly exasperated breath.
"Ok...note to self...flying fine...Landing hurts...ow." Xi took a deep sow breath before rising from the ground again, shaking his head. That had knocked some sense into him. As well as really knocked that crick out of his back. "Alright...Round two." Xi brought his hands up slowly from his sides and fell into stance bringing his left arm infront of him like a guard and pulling his right down to his side in his neural stance leaving what looked like a massive inviting opening for a left handed strike. Then Xi took a lunging step forwards and brought his hand over itself in a one hundred and eighty degree turn before attempting to sink his knuckles deep into ty's abdomen. If that hit didn't connect and if it did , then Xi would follow up with a stinging left to the isur's liver. Before taking a sharp jumping step back out of the isur's reach.
