A city floating in the center of a lake, Ravok is a place of dark beauty, romance and culture. Behind it all though is the presence of Rhysol, God of Evil and Betrayal. The city is controlled by The Black Sun, a religious organization devoted to Rhysol. [Lore]

It was nothing more then a regular day in Ravok. Unaware people had their pockets picked, newcomers were tested if they were fit for Ravok. Slaves went about on their master's business. In general, people were just living their regular life. Well, not all of them. There is a single girl that was actually not doing what she usually did, having fun, but she was working. If sitting against the wall next to a door could be considered a job, but who cared.

Tanjun was bored, where bored was a large understatement. The problem was that she needed work if she wanted to eat and as such she had to work as a mercenary. According to the employement office, this was the only job she was qualified for, for now. Her colleague, some beefy guy, just kept glancing at her. He probably thought that she would be totally useless, despite having such a big weapon in her hand. Well, she couldn't really blame him. She was short, looked malnutricioned and was a girl above all. This usually tended to lead to people underestimating her.

”Ugh, I am really really bored. Why isn't there anything happening? I wanna hear some screams, or draw some blood. I wanna carve, cleave, mangle, mutilate something.”, she thought. Gripping her glaive a little tighter, which was leaning against the wall she was crouching against, she sighed. ”BOOOOOOOOOOOORED.”, she whined out loud.

As if on cue, the replacement in guards came just then. One of them immediately snickered and asked the girl: ”Ey girl, you sure you can wield that thing, wouldn't it be better if you'd go play with dolls or something?”
Even though Tanjun never minded her short posture, she did mind it when people made fun of it. In reaction to him, the girl used the tip of her glaive to trip the guy over, which smacked rather hard against the walkway.
”Watch where you're walkin, ye big meanie. My Zanbatou could've gotten damaged., she cursed at him.
The guy grumbled as he got up, the other two continued on their way, and then saw the girl sticking out her tongue at which he almost flew into a rage. ”Next time I see you, you're dead, girl.”, he threatened her.

The girl didn't mind whatever he said. She was most likely not going to see him anymore anyway and if he did, he would make a perfect victim. It was time for her to collect her pay and grab a bite. She was now hungry, bored and annoyed. Her face clearly showed all of this as she walked along the walkway.
I'm smiling, so you might want to start running.

Lunae was cautious about being around the city of Ravok during the day, she not only didn't care for the crowds she didn't feel comfortable enough to being in her 'mortal' appearing form. It was like her own personal hell that Leth was using to punish her.

Stepping around people as they went on their way the Ethaefal held her rather tattered clock closer to her body. The cloak had obviously seen better days, it's hemmed bottom was frayed and singed in places, as if it caught fire at one point. Sadly, it did. The Eth's frail body could be seen beneath the cloak, there wasn't much covering it. A wide belt that did it's best to keep on her hip, only being held there by her pelvic bones, a dagger could be seen hanging on on side. Each and every bone was visible as she moved about, it was as if she struggled to survive... And she did, barely making it day by day and it could be seen.

Watching the guard sneer at the young child and then getting tripped by said child made Lunae smile, it was going to be the only thing she will remember from this day, it was a nice little bit of humor in her dark days of existence. As the child walked past her Lunae couldn't help but stop her with a soft hand to her shoulder, “I don't mean to be rude, but I find that your actions against the guard was rather... Amusing.” Her eyes twinkled and then she removed her hand from the girl's shoulder and coughed repeatedly into it. It was a wracking and heaving cough that left the Ethaefal gasping for air.

Still haven't got rid of this. Gah. She cringed as the pain of coughing rolled through her joints and bones, once that subsided Lunae stood as tall as her height would allow her, “Sorry, I appeared to have caught something a couple of seasons ago and I haven't rid of it yet, I doubt it is of anything serious, so you needn't worry.”

Sadly, Lunae wasn't much taller than Tan, maybe a half a foot, if that. So when Lunae stood as tall as she was, the Ethaefal quickly had to hunch a little, she felt more comfortable that way anyway.

The girl kept grumbling in herself. She needed a victim, one that would play a long time with her. Feeling the hand on her shoulder, Tanjun turned around immediately, hoping that she now had a playmate. But seeing how thin and sickly this woman was, her hope was quickly crushed. Was Rhysol gonna keep teasing her today?

She wasn't particularly happy about what the woman said. She could care less if it was enjoyable for others. She had to have fun, she was supposed to play with people. The little girl was selfish, extremely selfish. "Why should I care if you enjoyed it. And another thing, petch off. I don't wanna catch what you have. Go see a doctor and sleep it out.", she bit at the woman.

The little girl with the large glaive just strode along fast. She didn't wanna deal with a sick person who looked like she could die any moment. Why did the gods have to torture her so... What had she done wrong? All she did was have fun right? She wasn't hurting anyone with it... well, maybe her playmate, but that was only a minor detail. But then again, she wasn't targeting native Ravokians... usually.
I'm smiling, so you might want to start running.

Lunae cringed and then stared at the girl, “Excuse me. You really ought to be nicer to people. You really have no manners and you don't honestly know the people you are messing around with do you?”

Her eyes narrowed, “I could just light you on fire and watch you burn. I think that would be a bit overkill though for your manners. But you have no manners it would seem, even the guards notice your attitude.” Holding up the flint and steel in her hands, holding back a coughing fit, the Eth stared at Tanjun. “Or do you not care about your own well being?”

Lunae fell silent as she just waited for a response, there wasn't much more to say at that point and that is when the coughing fit kicked into high gear, causing the sickly Ethaefal to buckle to her knees.
