Burnt orange fur, striped in a unique pattern, offset white fur at her chest, legs, and chin. As a tiger, Alva becomes a symbol of the fierceness she likes to believe she inherits from her Myrian peers. With a roar that can be heard throughout the city and natural camouflage that allows her to stalk the jungle unseen. She is eight feet long, head to rump, with an additional three feet added at her tail and she stands at three feet tall. She weighs fourhundred and eighty-eight pounds.
As a human, she is diminished in height and prowess. Made awkward without her paws, she appears merely as a freckled deyhan hardly worth the meat on her bones. She has long arms and fingers, white skin stretched over narrow bones. Her face is angled and fierce, her eyes home to large gold-green irises that seem a tad more predatory than any milk drinker outsider can ever possess. She has a young voice and a young body. Scars of trials litter her skin and a tattoo in orange and blacm ink displays her ties to her tiger nature on her left arm.
With hair like fire made orange in the right lighting and golden toned in the best, and eyes of gold toned green to match, it is apparent that Alva isn't human.
Even though she acts like one.

Alva is a creature of instinct and emotion, rarely logical and considerate. She isn't afraid to challenge people or to throw her weight around. In fact, she loves a good argument, even though she will likely lose it.
Because she is a tigress and a firm believer in equality, she does not differentiate between ranks. She is willing to stare a superior in the eye as she is to stare a peer in the eye. She is blunt and emotionally forthright, stating her emotions and her thoughts with clarity and simplicity. When she makes a decision she doesn't think twice about it nor does she become distraught over her choices. Needless death irks her and so do needless words.
Even unlearned, she demonstrates a surprising understanding of what goes on around her. She is quiet, sharp, and direct and doesn't keep a secret. Her promises, on the other hand, are made with dire seriousness.
Religiously, Alva follows the same gods as the Myrians. She has done her best to mirror their culture and beliefs and is as devout as one of them, especially when it comes to that particular deity's festival. She holds particular reverence for Dira, Myri, and Caiyha and is fond of Navre.
Alva can neither read nor write.

Alva was born to two Kelvics, as most Kelvic are. She reached self awareness at two seasons of age and learned her identity as a tiger, but she didn't have the inclination to shift for nearly another season when she felt she had lingered as a human for long enough.
Her parents's bondmate was thrilled by her true form and she took pride in the beauty of herself.
At three years of age, after living a life close to her mother and father, she finally set out on her own, having reached maturity and desiring a bondmate as they had found. Her old 'owner' tried to keep her to himself, but Alva wanted a true predator like her. She had seen some among Myrians with spirit she felt matched her own and found them to have a comforting presence. They weren't quite enough either.
Having set out to scour the Myrians for a bondmate, Alva did not expect not to find one right away. She was beyond those needy years when bonding wasn't so difficult and found herself seeing man and woman equally unappealing to be her bondmate. So, she enlisted.
For one so pale and slender, she was easily put down. They said she was noisy and her skin glowed when they were trying to scout sneakily, and she fought to uphold her pride and prove herself as worthy of them. She found a love for falconry, dance, and war, as much as any real Myrian had.
And she walks with them still, serving her time in the army and trying to find it in herself to believe in the Myrians and to not discriminate among their skills. There is no one she likes most, so she seeks a warrior with the spirit to match her own.
