The magic she showed Iosha was still one of wonder, which she was blessed with by Leth. Her words at her magic confused Cephei, making a frown crease her brows. Then she remembered the young woman did not know anything about the magic, so that was why she made her assumption. Cephei chuckled lightly, ”Those are wise words Io. But no worries, it only lasts for a day, so the flower will be back to normal tomorrow.” Cephei smiled brightly at Iosha. She was wiser then she looked and this pleased Cephei a great deal. She was happy she would be able to have an intellectual conversation with this Konti woman, one without judgements, but an understanding of one another.
Iosha took Cephei by her hand, leading her back to the shore, letting go of her hand she went to kneel down by the water. Cephei stood there, staring at the beautiful woman as she began talking fondly of her grandmother. Cephei was rather intrigued by this woman she called grandmother. This grandmother sounded like a very wise mage, and a wonderful teacher of the art of magic. Iosha knelt there quiet for a few chimes and Cephei stood there staring at the curve of the woman’s back as she knelt there. When she turned around to face Cephei, she had a sphere of water, smiling as her voice came out confidentally, speaking of this grandmother once again. Cephei could not help the warm and serene smile that formed on her face, this grandmother was intelligent indeed.
Cephei stayed silent though as she watched the ball of water begin to waiver, struggling to keep its shape. Cephei watched Iosha make the water ball float away from her hand, suspending it in the air by her head. Iosha frowned at the sphere, calling it lazy, which made Cephei chuckle at the young woman, as she began to turn it into different shapes, twirling it so Cephei could see it. Then she walked over to the flower Cephei grew, and watered the plant, Iosha telling her that her mother said morning and night were the best times to water plants.
Cephei went over to Iosha, and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, ”You do realize that you are amazing, right?” Cephei’s voice came out sooth and warm, looking into the woman’s eyes. She was so beautiful, the sight of her performing magic sparked something inside of Cephei, she wasn’t sure what it was though.
