Solo [Job Thread] Cryktos Works on Boats

Winter, Day 3, 512 Cryktos woke to a bright, shiny day. It was windless as he made his way to the docks. He knew he would have a hard day of work ahead of him. It was noon when he reached the docks, and already he was going to tell he was going to be very tired by day's end. In front of him was a large Galleon, which needed guided out of port. The lack of wind made it more difficult, because now Cryktos needed to blow the air the right way. He reached the ship, and asked where the captain was. The crew told him Cryktos could find him at the Helm, barking orders. He found him, and the scarred captain gave him orders too! "Excuse me, but I am your guide through this cove. If you wish to have me do something, save it 'till I'm guiding the ship outward, otherwise my skills are not needed." The captain stared back at the defiant mage. He waited until they were on their way to bark order after order at the magician. Cryktos only followed the orders pertaining to the sail, and within no time at all, he had guided the ship out of the windless cove. His small raft, which he used Air to push, made it to shore, after which, he took a nap on the dock, thinking: That's enough for today. He woke up, oddly enough, at his house. It was dark, and he was tired, so he decided not to go back. He had done his job, and he is now going to bide his time, waiting for the second job to arrive.

Winter, Day 26, 512 The season was nearing its end, and Cryktos wanted to get another day's work in before he was paid. He walked to the docks, just as he had done hundreds of times before, to see how many ships he had to guide today. There was only one, and it was coming into port for the night. He pulled his small raft to the shore, and blew the air behind him. He shot toward the ship, reaching it in under a minute. A rope was thrown down, and he climbed up. The captain appeared from the Captain's Quarters. "Hello, Reimancer. We would like to make port, but we have no paddles, and we cannot steer the ship easily. Would you please help us?" Cryktos nodded his head, and then moved behind the sails, as to see which docking station was available. The narrow-dock was the only one, and there was no other choice but to move the ship to the tiny space. "Captain," the magician said, "It seems that the only open dock is the narrow-dock. Are you okay with this?" The captain nodded, and Cryktos blew only a small amount of air into the sail, causing the ship to creep upon the narrow-dock. After a few minutes of precision angling and calculations, the mage slowly moved the ship into port. He stayed a while longer and helped tie down the ship, but it was not too long of a task. It had darkened significantly since he last looked up. He lit a small fire using his magic and walked home, the finger-lamp illuminating the cloaked figure.
