Physical Information:
Nuit(originally Symenestra), Winter 1, 37 BV(549 Years Old), Male

Physical Description:
Being a nuit, it depends on the body he is residing with. But he has a few habits and kinks that he likes to put on everybody he owns. He usually paints symbols that seem to come from his right eye down onto his cheek. Generally they do nothing, though sometimes he tries to use glyphing to give them function. Currently he is residing within a 21-year-old hiker's body that passed away from an unfortunate disease. Jet black hair accompanied by hollow grayish eyes. Body more to the athletic side, it is usually masked by the rough cloak he adorns. Angular face with defined features.

Currently is wearing the "Assassin's Step" maledicted earing, which appears as an engraved snake's tooth with cat's hair woven around it.

He's also a tad bit sadistic.

Character Concept:
The very purpose of his existence, he believes, is to analyze as much knowledge as is possible. He has photographic memory, blinking is the equivalent to taking a photo and imprinting it in the archives in his mind. Knowledge, wisdom, enlightenment. That is all that matters. He would gladly sneak into forbidden archives, savor the experience of thieving a volume, and always fancies a fortune on stolen tomes.

He is rather reserved about what knowledge of items he possess. Only the closest friends find the opportunity to peek into his bag of goodies.

Character History:
Born in Kalinor,and raised by no one but the wild, he has traveled around the world while striving to survive. His one and only thought was to survive. Survive at any cost, any price, and way possible. Malefic was easily willing to stab a friend in the back to get out of a sticky situation. His one and only focus was to survive. Because of this, he disregarded everything around him that didn’t directly regard his life. The wars, the destruction, and the beauty. All of it was completely ignored as survival took the throne of his mind. He was the equivalent of a wild animal. He lived through the Valterrian because of this philosophy, and continued to merely survive throughout the ages. Until around 452 AV. That was the year that he learnt to live.
Malefic formed a new philosophy. This occurred when he was switching bodies. His last one was badly damaged, and he was switching into the corpse of a human he choked to death a few moments ago. After performing the ritual, he awoke in the usual weakened state, staring up at the moon. Never before had he done so, only under the cover of shadow out of sight or in a cave, or anywhere where he wasn’t exposed. He was half-forced to watch the clouds roll by, to feel the cool wind on his skin. He gazed up at the sparkling stars, and for the first time in a very long time, he felt safe. He took a deep breath, and sat up to look at his surroundings. He then realized that there was more a meaning to life than to jealously guard it. Rather, he discovered it was to enjoy. From that day forth, he walked to his destinations instead of ran. The beauty only now seemed ever so present to him. But his favorite time was night. He felt it was the most gorgeous time, the time where he was hidden from others the most, the time when he felt truly alone and secluded. Malefic had long forgotten his original name, and he never cared to find out the named of those he killed. However, many called him malefic. He’d use that as his name, so that he would not be confused as another, and could learn about the world around him. By then, he completely forgot how and why he was an nuit, and what he was before. Upon hearing about Sahova, journeyed there in order to learn about the world around him, and because he trusted his kind greatly. Now he has entered Sahova, to begin his plot.

When worn the user feels lighter somehow, quicker on their feet. They are more confident and aware of their body movements than normal, and can better control the amount of noise they make while walking. These effects do no occur all the time, only working about 50% of the time when activated. When removed the wearer finds themselves more clumsy, more easily tripping and stumbling than before and all in all they are quite noisy when they move.

Glyphing Trigger: The trigger and barrier has to be redrawn after every use (once it is turned on and off again). Otherwise when worn the item will have a 50% chance of working properly. When triggers are properly applied there is still only a 50% chance that the item will work when activated.


Spark Box - A cube-shaped object that spits sparks out one end when a leaver is cranked. Very poor quality.
