Kyra nursed her cup of wine, thinking on her still hungry stomach. She'd have to find something later. A horse? A dog? A sheep? One hand fluttered down to rest on her stomach. She didn't like her voracious appetite that was known to her kind. Always wanting so much food. So expensive.

She looked back up at the boys as they talked, she had blatantly ignored Svan's comment on the poison. He didn't know that she knew the owner well enough. He also didn't know that she had some knowledge of poisons. Not a lot, but more than he.

She let her let her least favorite dinner companion, Svan, reply before she did. She just sat quietly, listening to the two. So Kassius was a performer? How...odd. He was too pretty to perform only. She had pegged him as something else. An actor? Maybe, a singer. But mere juggling and acrobatics? Surprising. She let her eyes show her surprise, widening them slightly.

Kyra sat up straighter when Svan changed his finger into a claw. A morpher! Magic! Her eyes showed intense interest. She resisted the urge to reach out and pick up his hand. She wanted to look at the finger, examine it. Did it feel like a finger or a talon? Could she bottle that? Was it possible to philter someone else's talents into a potion? Her mind worked furiously at these questions. It seemed that Svan had become much more interesting to her.

His words sank in slower than his trick did, why would she care what he had to say really? But they did register in her mind and when the morph relaxed her eyes flicked to his. A bandit? A mercenary? Death work. So he was a killer than. Not that she wasn't. Her hand shifted from her stomach to rub at her back unconsciously, she touched the scars from the hawk.

But to make a living of it? She wondered at this, trying to figure out what her opinion of it was. Did she respect or think less of him for his occupation? Should she respect him? A true Dhani would respect a killer, would praise them. She was no true Dhani though.

Traveler. There, that cleared some things up, she supposed. Made it easier on her anyways.

Kyra didn't reply to Svan's question first, she went in order. Kass' first.

"I am a herbalist, or a philterer depending on which I feel like being that day. '" she informed the pair picking up the rose again with a smile. She looked up at Svan as she answered the second question.

"I was searching for a place to stay after I left home. I found this city, it's amuses me so I stay. '" she informed him. She leaned back, twirling the rose.

Rattlers, Rattlers Everywhere! [Serensskyra, Kassius]

Svan couldn't help but notice that something had caught Kyra attention when it had been his turn to speak. Unfortunately he wasn't sure what. Svan began to watch her more carefully now. While the other seemed more friend that foe, he wasn't so sure about Kyra. There was an air about her that warmed him that she felt similarly. He wanted anything that he could use against her. A secret, a weakness, a fear, anything. So long as she remained a threat, he would need some way to keep her at bay. He knew just how dangerous an angry dhani could be, and just how clever. The last thing he wanted was to learn that she had poisoned his food when he turned his back. He did still have one advantage over her. He knew she was a dhani, and that meant he could notify everyone and their kin that their green haired nieghbor was actualy a killing machine. At the very least they would have a few questions about their strangly disapearing livestock for her.

The brown haired man took a swig of water before she spoke, and the moment she said she was an herbalist Svan nearly choked. As she continued Svan coughed loudly into his fist and beat his chest twice to help the water down. Realizng he had caused a slight disturbance Svan turned meekly around and appologized. His head then whipped back and spoke in an unbelieving tone, "You're a herbalist? Like, a healer?! You heal people? Real people?" Svan's cold eyes where scanning the woman as if trying to discern the validity of what she was saying. He was trying his best to hide his facination in fear that she might use it against him, but it was quite obvious that Svan was interested in her proffesion.

The only thing that was not clear was whether this interest was in favor of healers or against them.

The dhani moved his face closer to hers. Just moments ago Svan had counted this woman as nothing more than a simple threat, but now she was something more to him. She was a healer, and Svan only ever treated healers one way.

To hide his dhani nature from anyone, Svan has taken measures to hide his lisp. As such, he will not have any extra "ssss" on his words unless indicated otherwise.
