Timestamp: 5 Day of Summer
Location: Opal Library
Reason: Flirting, Taith Learning basic Kontienese, Kail learning basic Tukant
Status: Only Kail D'Rea

Taithrosa Eldytia arrived at the Library towards the end of the day. He was glade that he could finally get the chance to learn the local language. These last days had been strangely wonderful. Kail was a very quiet person and smart. Taith thought felt very relaxed as was around her.

His lips were turned up in a smile his white teeth flashing against his dark skin. His muscles were moving with a tight control that spoke of his excitment. His clothing while simple was clean, and his height encouraged people to not block his way. Not that he bullied is way through or anything, it is just one of those natural responces.

He and Kail had talked many times while in the library or at the beach. Today they had agreed to meet in the library were they would begin to teach each other the languages of the Akalaks and the Konties. He was glade about that as his ears would once again be able to hear her soothing voice.

He paused as he walked into the library. He looked around wondering where the most bueatiful woman in the world was currently working."

Do you think that you could ever, Through all eternity,
Find out the generation Where Gods began to be?
Or see the grand beginning, Where space did not extend?
Or view the last creation, Where Gods and matter end?
Me thinks the Spirit whispers, “No man has found ‘pure space,’
Nor seen the outside curtains, Where nothing has a place.”

To Speak, To Dream, To Commune (Kail Language Training)

Postby Kail D'Rea on June 6th, 2010, 11:44 pm

Kail was in the backroom, completely focused on her work, as usual, when something in her mind clicked out of the world of words and pictures and into real-life mode. She was meeting Taith in the library today after work and needed to remember to finish on time to meet him. She carefully and painstakingly finished the current line of text, then looked at the time, expecting to have enough time to finish the page. Instead she couldn’t believe what she saw. She was late! Again! Kail knew that she belonged with Taith and loved talking with him and walking with him, but was so used to focusing on her work that she really didn’t think of anything else, a state of mind that got her into trouble sometimes. Today was another one of those times. She hurriedly cleaned up her work station and put her sheet in a safe place to dry, then flew out into the main library. She frantically rushed around the beautifully lit library and into the stacks, looking for Taith and hoping that the large blue man had waited for her. She wouldn’t blame him if he didn’t, but hoped anyway.

She had come to work early to have time to find and assemble everything they would need to work on languages, including books, paper, and pens and had been very excited to start. Thinking about it during her food breaks and at any distraction, she should have remembered the appointment. She didn’t know why she always behaved in a way that suggested she was less interested then she was, but she did. She was excited to learn another language, especially one that would bring her closer to Taith and hoped that he wouldn’t misinterpret her neglect as anything personal. It was just her mind. She had to explain, again, but couldn’t see him in the building. Kail finally turned to the desk and asked if the librarian had seen Taith. He’d become known in the last few weeks in the library, so the librarian was able to answer that he had indeed come and she hadn’t seen him leave, but didn’t know where he had gone. She couldn’t even guarantee she hadn’t missed him leaving. She thanked the woman and decided to look around one more time before trying to find him elsewhere.

Taithrosa was actually in the herbalism section of the library looking at the herbs native to the Cyphrus Region. While he wasn't offended that she had spaced the time of their appointment. She was a woman who was passionate about her work. He was very contiuentious of time. He had discovered something strange about this new form. He felt the flow of time. He was contientous of it every moment of ever day. He wasn't sure why or how, but he could tell you weather it was night or day with out looking outside and even the time of the day. Even when he was enjoying his work, he knew exactly how much time had passed.

He stood there reading through a list of herbs as he waited figuring that it was better then just standing there looking strange among all of these woman. That was something that he was begining to feel odd about. So many woman. In his Ethaefal form he didn't mind and it didn't phase him, but in his Akalak form it did affect him. He felt like he could hear someone pointing out the woman. He had realized that it was the memories and habbits he had formed when he had to share a body with Syadai. He was glade that the evil soul was gone, but still there was linger habits formed from hanging out with the creature for five hundred years.

He looked up as he saw Kail pass by, his darker skin helping him blend in with some of the shadows. He stepped and smiled at her as he returned the book to its shelf. "Greetings Kail. How was work?"

To Speak, To Dream, To Commune (Kail Language Training)

Postby Kail D'Rea on June 8th, 2010, 6:24 am

Kail jumped slightly and stopped short, then she smiled tentatively at the dark shape emerging from the stacks. "Taith. I'm so glad you are here. I'm sorry to be late. I really meant to be on time today." She looked into his face and didn't see any irritation or anger, so her smile brightened and she felt genuinely happy to be with Taith again.

She was so relieved and happy that she got up on her tip toes to be just high enough to kiss him lightly on the tip of his chin. "I am glad to see you today." She smiled, blushed and looked down, then pushed a tendril of her long blond hair back off her face before looking back up at the smiling blue face above her.

"I came in early and got everything ready for us. I also reserved a study room so we can work without disturbing anyone else and stay until close if you like. Ready to go for it?"

Taithrosa smiled as she leaned up to kiss his chin. He tilted his head and instead touched her lips with his. It wasn't a long kiss, but a short kiss like the touch of a gentle breeze. He wrapped his arms around her and just held her. It was loss enought that if she wanted to break out she easily could.

His eyes glowed and shinned with happieness and said. "Your pupil is willing and waiting." He said laughing in good humor.

To Speak, To Dream, To Commune (Kail Language Training)

Postby Kail D'Rea on June 9th, 2010, 6:49 pm

Kail was, as usual, surprised by Taith’s actions. She couldn’t seem to get used to his way of thinking, to his active approach to things or his continuous spontaneity. While he always responded quickly, she wasn’t always so fast. This moment of hesitation allowed him to wrap her up in his arms after surprising her with more of a kiss then she’d meant to allow today.

Not that it was too much. After two weeks of spending as much time as possible together, she felt that these little gestures were appropriate and his brief and gentle kiss was very welcome. It was just that it made it so hard to focus on work. Instead of the spoken language of their peoples, she wanted to focus to the unspoken communication going on between them now as she nestled into his gentle embrace and rested her head on his chest. The work of the day and the stress of being late were gone as she focused on the feeling of his skin tightening and his well-muscled chest rising, then falling with his breath that lightly ruffled a loose piece of her hair as it left his body. It felt so good to be here, wrapped in the strong arms of this unexpected man in her life while surrounded by the much-loved smell of library and the friendliness of the books. It was like paradise.

She enjoyed it for a moment, then decided to compromise. “Taithrosa, dear one, you are making this lesson difficult. How will we learn to speak together if you take my attention elsewhere?” she said in Kontinese.

Taithrosa just held her as she relaxed against his chest just enjoying being with her and having that gentle but firm physical contact. He just held her while the stood there enjoying the quiet and the moment. His silver eyes looked down at the womans white hair that casacaded across his chest and framed Kails beautiful face.

He looked into her violet eyes and smiled his white teeth contrasting against his dark blue skin. His eyes were happy and were full of happiness. To her it seemed like only two weeks, but to Taith it seemed longer. His feelings for here stretched back into the time when they had meet in a previous life. He had savored every moment of those two weeks. It was probale the only good thing about being so sensative to time. This wonderful time didn't just fly by in the blink of an eye. He was able to taste and savor each sweet moment.

He smiled as she said something to him in Kontinese, he smiled down at her and blinked. He then answered in an archaic akalak. "You do like to tempt me."

He then said in his accented common. "I suspect we might want to start the lessons before we get really distracted." He said with a soft laugh but contiuned to hold her. He lowered his face face and rubbed nose to nose, before straightening up again. His arms still protectively around her.

To Speak, To Dream, To Commune (Kail Language Training)

Postby Kail D'Rea on June 10th, 2010, 1:36 am

Kail smiled and gently pulled away. She slid one delicate hand into Taith’s much larger one and started leading him through the library to the room she reserved. She was still smiling and had that slightly glowing look of a girl in an exciting new relationship. She could feel it and knew that she didn’t want questions later, so she lead him through the stacks in a path that deliberately went around the area near the staffed desk.

As she walked, leading the way, Kail considered again how different this was from what she’d have expected to be doing after work only a short while ago. She’d been thinking a lot lately about what she wanted from life and from Taith and basically returned to this topic whenever she had a minute of uncluttered brain time. After sharing a moment like that and making longer term plans like teaching each other a language, Kail knew it would be more on her mind than ever. She would really have to fight to keep her mind focused on the task at hand. She did want to be a good teacher for Taith and make this as easy as possible, for both of them. Kail wanted to learn quickly as well, both from an interest in learning a new language and because she didn’t want to appear slow. “Focus” she told herself. “You can learn this, then think later.”

As they entered the room, she lightly squeezed Taith’s hand, then let go to allow her to get the materials she’d set aside there earlier.

Taithrosa smiled as she lead him through the back part of the library. He found her shyness slightly amusing as it was clear she didn't want her fellow co workers to know about there little get together, well there romantic one anyways.

He followed along also eager to learn. He was growing a little tired of not understanding what was being said around him but he couldn't complain about it because it was there home and their language.

So he looked around the room waiting for instructions. He desided to take one of the seats though since he guessed Kontinnes wasn't learned standing up.

To Speak, To Dream, To Commune (Kail Language Training)

Postby Kail D'Rea on June 10th, 2010, 6:37 pm

Kail was glad to see Tatith sit down and get ready for the lesson. She had found books in Kontinese she knew would help and had pulled some in Akalak too that she was less sure about. She put the books on the table, but started with a blank sheet of paper, laying it on the table in front of Taith along with a pen and ink. Kail sat next to him and smiled. "Start at the beginning?" she asked. Then started to write the Konti alphabet on the sheet, stating the name and the sound with each letter she wrote.
