Built into the cliffs overlooking the Suvan Sea, Riverfall resides on the edge of grasslands of Cyphrus where the Bluevein River plunges off the plain and cascades down to the inland sea below. Home of the Akalak, Riverfall is a self-supporting city populated by devoted warriors. [Riverfall Codex]

To the north of Riverfall the Kabrin Road begins its proud journey heading toward the east, far through the Cyphrus region and into Sylira. Upon this road, outside of Riverfall proper sits the Glynstein Master Station, a three story outpost built of sturdy brick and stone. An old, dusty hue covers the exterior of the station, very similar to the rocky crags that sit around it appearing as if it was simply raised up from the ground below. Stony outer curtain walls line the perimeter of the structure with vines and vegetation creeping along their exterior. These walls follow a beaten pathway that leads down to the Kabrin Road itself. Two main cylindrical towers stand as the defensive positions for archers with holes and slits to fire both bows and crossbows, while a small gatehouse is supported by the towers, enabling a wrought iron portcullis to be raised and lowered as needed.

Past the gate lies the courtyard, an open circle of stone, though weeds and grass has long since penetrated between the cracks and spaces. A well sits in the middle in order to provide fresh water for those within the walls. A set of stables able to shelter up to forty horses rests on the eastern most portion of the main yard. The keep sits to the rear of the courtyard, and is the main building where Knights, Squires, and those of the Order rest and re-supply.

The keep itself houses sixty men, with five large simple, practical rooms dedicated to cots for sleeping arrangements, each room containing ten cots each on the first floor. Ten smaller, more private rooms upon the second floor house the ten Sergeant Knights that command the Knights below, and one final room on the third floor houses the Stewart Knight, responsible for the entirety of the Station. There also exists a rudimentary cold forge for making repairs to weapons and armor, complete with an anvil, shaping stakes, forming blocks, and a set of basic smithy tools. A storage room carries additional sets of uniforms, weapons, armor, and wilderness survival gear.

The number of men within fluctuates throughout the year, with five wings of Knights stationed for long periods of time, and up to forty additional members coming and going in order to traffic supplies, messages, reports, and other necessities.

Pel Rickenbacher had great plans on becoming a famous musician and wandering the world, performing his upbeat, whimsical pieces for the populous. Unfortunately by his twenty fifth birthday he found that dream wasn’t even able to pay for the food his stomach needed to sustain his body. Thus, at the behest of his disappointed parents, he joined the Syliran Knights. A far better Knight than the musician he wished to be, the dark, curly haired Syliran has done well for himself and has been in charge of the Glynstein Master Station for almost five years. Passionate and jovial, Pel is always up for gifting a man or woman a song from his trusty lute.
