Reaver took pause at the young man's words, he was going on and on and on. Good gods he was like some sort of lonely housewife who has had no one to talk for decades. Blinking he was caught a little off guard by the sudden flow of words. Listening as the boy went on about his aunt and her eccentric habits and love of Akalak's. This was definitely not what he was expecting, not in the slightest but he was really enjoying this! When Atticus took a sip of his wine, Reaver was chuckling rather heartily. This was just too good not to listen and laugh at! His hand reached up as if to ask why this was happening though it quickly dropped to his side. He couldn't help but feel as though this was all a joke, namely because Atticus was acting so. Well odd would be a fine choice though it didn't quite cover his opinion on the matter. It was like the lad was raised to be a housewife to a rich man or something of equivalence! He wouldn't be surprised if this boy was going to grow up and study to be an actor. A difficult job often hard to secure in Mizahar, it was also one he knew next to nothing about. Still to him this was a marvelous show and he was more than a little entertained at watching the boy act like a young lady. As Atticus' little act came to a close he found it a little difficult to recompose himself. Giving small chuckles here and there he watched as he filled his glass with the dark red liquor.
Nodding to the lad and sitting down Reaver tipped the glass to his lips and drank. Only a few mouthfuls went down as he sighed at the taste. This was far better than kelp beer, the taste was delightful and caused him to miss his home. Though his thoughts didn't dwindle for long as he turned his attention back to Atticus. His sharp blue eyes examining the boy before him once more, the boy had spoken a lot. Though it seemed he had said nothing really of himself, and what was recently spoken he suspected was just for fun. The boy had spoken of brothers and a father, as well that he's had no real romantic relations. This was just making him all the more curious, why was the boy just wandering the streets? And if his speech and actions suggested that he was born of a more wealthy family. Why was he touring someone like himself for money? Surely a lad like him would have enough money on him that'd he'd have no need to sell his services as a guide. Or perhaps this was something of good gesture? No, the boy would have refused his offer to pay for meals otherwise. And surely this boy would have far better things to do, like studying or some such. That quickly brought his mind full circle, what where this boy's talents? What could he do, what was he studying to be able to do? Was he even studying at all? More of these questions raced though Reaver's mind though he couldn't find any real way to ask them. And as chimes when by in his head, not even half the time went by in the world around him.
Snapping his attention to the outside along with his hand he smiled again. Broad and large as he always did, with no hiding of his joy. "Tell me Atticus, when shall we visit the University? I'm curious to see it, I'm sure Zeltiva has numerous more locations that would peek my interest." 'Namely the drinking establishments' he thought to himself as he took a small pause in his speech. "But I must admit I'm hoping with great eagerness to see it! I've heard a lot of whispers around it. I'm hoping it lives up to its reputation." He smiled and sipped at his wine. By the gods this tasted amazing! He only hoped he'd be able to find the Dancing Donkey again. His sense of direction was about as good as Rhysol was nice. However he hopped to at least learn one location here.
