To this Amelia had no valid answer. She knew most were scared of what they didn’t understand, Amelia was different. The ones she understood frightened her, the ones she didn’t know, made her curious. That was probably one of the few oddities in her. Despite the constant trouble it gave her, she lightened up when it stroke her, and this was the case as well. The ghost offered a chance to explore, Amelia wouldn’t let it go despite the shadows of fright that lingered around her. ”If you let me, I’ll find out” Amelia offered, as she pulled out her deck of tarot ”I’m a fortune teller, I could try to see who you are if you let me…or tell you what awaits you if you wish” her offer was clearly selfish, to find out more, but then again, if a soul was lost, maybe she could help it even a little bit.
”Our kind…but you were our kind, weren’t you a human?” Amelia wished to ask, but she lacked the courage and so she kept shut. Just awaiting the simple answer to her offer. Still praying to her hearth that she would start feeling her legs again and maybe, just maybe, if the situation gets messy, she would get the chance to run away. But somehow, the voice, it sounded more sad than angered…like a lost child not a murderer…some sympathy began building up in the caprice hearth ”..but if you wish to be left alone?” was the only offer she could give. Amelia still lacked the power to move, she wouldn’t be able to walk away, but she would at least try to be polite. Not enough to change the spirits thoughts in their kind, but...maybe attempt to?
