Hey Suvan Peoples! Just have a couple of things to say .

First there is a thread up for the Sailing Race Contest, so anyone who is interested in gaining some sailing skills and such, please feel free to post! Cascade told me it would be alright to go ahead and post a thread about it.

Secondly, I will be entering the quest on the second of Spring, at the Flotilla, so if anyone would like to train together, please shoot me a PM and we can get started on that!

Other than that, if you think your PC would be interested in a little fortune telling, send me a PM and let us see what the cards shall say about your PC !

Hello everyone! This is just a friendly reminder that, as much as possible, please post grade requests in my office and not in Anchor's. As a junior storyteller, Anchor is more focused on development than anything else. Important Update Sorry for the scary frames all, but I felt like these words should be highlighted somehow. First of all, I'm sorry for my delay in activity to all those who are waiting on me. My parents have brought me on vacation and kept me busy (not complaining though) and school will start up again in a couple days. The quest post will actually have to be shuffled back a bit since I still need to type that up for you all. Next for some big news that most of you have probably figured out already. I'm sure most of you are aware by now that Cascade's name is grayed out. Indeed, she has resigned from the Storyteller team and is unlikely to be returning to us anytime soon. She will be sticking around with her characters, though I will leave it up to her discretion whether she will share who those are, and I'm happy to see we can still play with her. Her absence does present us with an issue however. I am only a Junior Storyteller, and though I hope to apply for Assistant sometime soon I just don't have the time right now to handle it. This means that big domain updates and edits and godly moderations will all be put on hold. I've not even scratched the surface of serious storytelling yet, so I don't know what will be done or what has to be done. All I do know is that there are several things that Cascade needed to do that I am not able to, and now there is no one to fill the role for the moment. Still, I will pick up what slack I can. Anyone who was in a moderated thread with Cascade, please post a link to your thread in my office so that I may resume when I can with what points I can take from her existing posts. Grading should be directed to my office now and I will get to it when I can. I have not heard a thing from anyone about anything yet, so until a higher up lays down the law please direct most domain issues to me. As you might guess, this will make me incredibly busy in the coming days as I try to catch up on things both on my to-do list and Cascade's. Not to mention that I will need a brief readjustment time with school at the beginning of April. Everything will just take longer and be shuffled back a bit - quests, lore additions, moderations, grades. Please bear with me as I do my best to get back up to speed, and for things like grading I will look around for some help if things get drawn out too long. If anyone has any concerns or questions, please either PM me or post them here in this thread. What I will not answer though are questions about Cascade's resignation - that is her business and I'm not entirely aware of the details myself. Otherwise, I'll do my best to reply to all of you. The Suvan Sea is not going to be completely without Domain Leadership. The Staff of Cyphrus and Falyndar can handle grading and moderation requests. If you folks are active and want your things graded faster than perhaps Anchor can handle them until he gets his school legs on, please post requests in RF and we will handle them in the order they come in. We try to turn around grades fairly rapidly these days in the domain's that sandwich the Seas. So don't hesitate to toss them either Cyphrus or Falyndar's way. There's grade request and moderation requests in the Jungle Wild and Riverfall for that purpose.

Hi all, just a quick word about pirates in the domain. This isn't as well publicized as it should be, and I intend to fix that sometime soon, but piracy on the Suvan is common only by the Svefra who have their special ships and customs. That means if they don't have blue eyes and have their casinors and palivars then they won't last very long. There are three exceptions to this rule, the pirate captains on the list, but they don't have it easy either. That's why one of them is being hunted down as the quest.

A more formal and lasting note will be made somewhere eventually, probably the lore page, but for now if you want non-Svefra pirates in a thread - either the ones listed or some schlubs trying to start up - please ask my permission and outline how they will be implemented. If the pirates you mention are Svefra, please make sure that the characteristics of e people and their ships are present (means you all need to spend a good long time reading their lore page ).

It saddens me to see no one else using this thread.

Just a small update guys, I'm still super busy with the quest but I've not turned a blind eye to you all. The Down in the Deep development subforum is a little useless without anyone to edit the master list, but the request thread is still there for you all to post any ideas in. Activities, quests, or just small festivals for some pods or the Flotilla are all welcome. Please, I get a better idea of what I should be doing when you all contribute!
