8th of Spring 513 AV. Gideon moved swiftly threw crowds of people as he made his way to the center of the market, he looked for a clothing stall. He wanted to buy a cloak to replace his old one, for his old cloak was becoming torn and worn. Its old black colour had worn out and become somewhat of a light gray. The wind blew threw his blonde hair his eyes weighted with drowsiness. He wanted to get out of here and return to his cottage so he could turn in early for the day. He finally found the stall he was looking for when a stranger abruptly shoved him to the side and ran past him. Gideon gathered himself and muttered curses under his breath and continued up to the stall where he intended to buy himself a new cloak."Oi mate What can i do for ya." The owner of the stall yelled to him. He replied quickly"A small black cloak please."The owner replied back"Alright then,10 silver mizas mate."Gideon handed the owner 10 silver mizas. As the man turned to go retrieve his cloak, he turned around and surveyed the area. It was a busy Afternoon. The stall owner returned with his cloak and handed it to him. He quickly thanked him. He decided he might want to walk through the market to see if there was anything else he needed. He walked passed rows of stalls. People murmuring and making their purchases and hurrying off home. It was the perfect time for a thief to strike lots of people to get in the way of a pursuer. Gideon noticed someone at the end of the row. He saw a strange woman he hasn't seen before. He turned to the stall owner next to him."Who is she?" He said while pointing to the stranger."I don't know some foreigner just passing through buying some gear maybe." The stall owner replied back.Gideon thanked the man for this information and studied her more closely. He couldn't see anything wrong with her. Maybe she is just passing threw he thought to himself. Gideon still continued to watch her a wrenching feeling in his gut told him that she was up to no good. He hid behind a stall and watched her from a distance. Hoping she didn't see him waiting for her to make a move. |
