Physical Description
Ma'ii stands 5'6" tall and weighs 240 lb. with his water bladder filled to capacity. He is wiry with the musculature of a runner. His skin is not as coppery as most Chaktawe and more like the color of the redstone cliffs where he was born. His glossy black hair is worn in hunter's queues tied off with white yarn and threaded with feathers.
He usually wears leather breeches instead of a simple undergarment underneath his people's traditional knee-length wrap made of feathers. When it is cold he dons an ankle-length mantle made of feathers. His feather wrap is made from light-colored feathers dyed red using Tatsuwaat dye while his feather mantle from the black feathers from crows and ravens.
Character Concept
Character History
When Ma'ii was 5, he wandered away from the tents of his people while they were encamped among the Redstone Cliffs for the half-season they called it home. He was later found by some hunters playing with Coyote pups in a cave. This earned him the nickname of Brother Coyote among the Chaktawe.
Ma'ii turned 15 in the Spring of 509 AV and, as is tradition, was banished for the Rite of Searching.
