"There is no way you can do that with your stomach." Miria found herself smiling like a fool as they walked towards Frostfawn hold. The archer found herself happily complacent with having such a close gal pal. Her eyes shimmered her usual golden glow from earlier this morning as she merely took in Vaspira's company.

Once again finding herself at Frostfawn Hold the usual sights and smells accompanying the animal friendly area. First it was a man and his dog taking a lovely walk, then it was a small flock of chickens being led around by a woman with feed finally it was a whole herd of horses stampeding in near a man and woman. If this place wasn't Frostfawn hold then Miria was an archer but in fact a sailor who raided ships with her gladius. "Well I don't think this is the place we are looking for. We should just turn around and live our lives happily back at Coolwater hold."

Nodding her head slightly as Vaspira set her sights on a Frostfawn man Miria watched the pair closely just in case something went amiss. Though it would not seem the man did not treat Vaspira poorly as Vassy gave a thumbs up at the small exchange. Turning her attention to the nearby horses Miria watched lazily as they quietly grazed nearby. "A horse would be nice." Though they were quite a hefty investment from what she heard. A horse would have to be fed, groomed, cleaned after, she would have to learn how to ride it among other arduous tasks.

Strangely enough Vaspira had no horse to carry her stuff if she were to leave Avanthal. Her brow raised as the question started to form in her head. How the heck was she able to find her way to Avanthal without a horse? Miria's mind depicted a picture of her roommate making the long trek on foot. Her jaw gawking at the impossible picture given to her Miria shook her head in deep contemplation. "Oh Vassy you make me so worried sometimes."

Her brooding was interrupted as a ball of excitement staggered Miria back a few steps before falling back onto the snow. Miria's eyes shot out in a surprised crimson before settling back into a softer yellow realizing it was just Vaspira. "Don't scare me like that!" Chuckling slightly Miria ran her hand through Vaspira's hair before drying the tears coming from her companion's eyes. "That's wonderful news. I'm happy for you dear." Breaking her gaze from Vaspira's happy visage she glanced up at the Frostfawn from before trying to memorize the face. "What was that Frostfawn's name? More importantly what news of your father?"

Giving Vaspira a moment to share the good news Miria's eyes shimmered a light green shifting uncomfortably in the snow. "So what are your plans then?" Though Miria already knew the answer. If it was news about Laforte she would do the same. The archer would probably pack up her stuff and leave at first light after retiring early the day before. Perhaps two days if she wanted to give everyone a grand farewell. "That's great" Miria whispered low. Starting up Miria then turned before walking away quietly venting her thoughts before looking back at Vaspira. "Are you coming? If your staying for even one night I want to make sure it's one you never forget." Offering a chummy smile back at the traveler, Miria readjusted her posture into a more commanding stance before continuing. "I only have bad intentions for you tonight Vassy. Your going to pay. Making me love you so much in our short time together then just leaving without a prior warning. Gah! Don't expect to sleep a wink until I'm done with you."

oocYou don't have to do as Mir says. She'll be fine with just sharing a friendly scene with Vas. Though if you let her order you around she'll drag you to the bar, maybe do some naughty things.

Vaspira was a ball of happiness of finding out the information about her father, ready to set out on her adventure. ”His name? Oh, it was Tavan. He did not know much about my father, but I did get his name. Maurek.” Vaspira said in a wondering voice. Her mind was so full of the possibilities. ”My plans are the same. Going to Sylira soon, very soon.” Vaspira said with a sad tone. She was sad to leave her friend, but she knew that she had. She had to fed the curiosity inside herself, before it drove her mad.

The Archer’s next words struck Vaspira as odd. She was not sure if she meant that they were about to get drunk and be stupid, or if her words rang a sexual one. It was slightly confusing, as it was something she had heard a man say to a woman before. The Huntress banished the thought though, this was her friend, her best friend. She meant to give her a grand farewell. Though the band intentions part made her nervous, and slightly curious at the same time. Then she said she loved her, and Vaspira was taken aback, a little shocked to hear those three words being uttered to her again, after so long.

The Huntress lifted herself off of the ground, and stood up walking slowly to her friend. ”I love you too Di-Di.” Vaspira said in a honey warm and soft voice. She wrapped her arms tenderly around the woman, and placed a tender kiss on her. Then Vaspira withdrew just as quickly, giving her a broad smile, flashing her white canines. ”Now let us go enjoy this night together my friend!” Vaspira said in an enthusiastic voice. She laughed loudly, and shoved her friend playfully, then ran off.

The archer's attempts to otherwise play the dominate role in the relationship fell flat as Vaspira made her move. Once again Miria's eyes flashed a hot scarlet as her cheeks soon followed suit. Wordless Miria's eyes showed off her perpetual state of shock as her mouth gaped slightly open watching Vaspira bound away. Moving her hands to her lips the archer took a moment before her eyes flared a brilliant golden hue. Vassy said she loved her. That direct yet tender kiss was a bit forward for the Vantha but Miria could only find herself smiling watching Vaspira run off without heed. "Wait up for me love!" Miria hearing the word paused before grinning from ear to ear. Finally Miria found a new love.

Too excited to know what to do with Miria opted to instead spend her new found energy chasing Vaspira. Though her archery muscles were well defined Miria was also slightly proud of the minor musculature in her legs as she used them to shorten Vaspira's lead. Feeling the wind as her legs pushed and otherwise shoveled snow from under her Miria sprinted for almost a full two minutes before collapsing from exhaustion. A thin veil of sweat formed on her face as she recovered panting out the hot air in her system. "Let's just walk together yes?"

That small sprinting session did the trick for Miria's giddiness though she still had enough to nuzzle Vaspira energetically. A cautionary thought was discarded as before taking Vaspira's hand with her own. Remember that bit of life being too short not to love? Miria reminded herself. "Your a bit forward you know Vassy? If I wasn't me I might have taken that differently." Miria teased as a last word before their evening started. "You know how I said I won't let you sleep a wink until I'm done with you right?"

Settling down in the shaded corner of the Red Diamond tavern Miria simply explained to Vaspira that she wanted to learn all there was to know about her. The archer went on to explain that when she meant everything she meant everything. What her favorite color was, what she liked to do growing up, her adventures outside of Avanthal, her first relationship, how close she was with her parents, everything. "If you'd like I'll share with you my version of that as well. "Looking up Miria smiled seeing the first round of drinks arriving at their table. "But first. Let's drink to our... new found connection and feelings for each other. Then to your successful departure. Then drink some more while we chat it out. I'll show you how much more an older woman can hold her liquor and please. If only for tonight. You can call me Miria if you want.

The romp through the snow was an exhilarating work out. The snow made it difficult to really pick up too much speed, but from her training and hunting she had built up some muscle tone, enough to get a little ahead before her friend caught up with her. She panted and had a sheen of sweat on her, saying that they should just walk together. Vaspira chuckled happily and nodded her head in agreement.

The held hands as they walked along side one another, Vaspira was glancing around at the sights of Avanthal, soon she would bid farewell to the frozen city and be off to where supposedly knights roamed. It seemed so unreal that she had done such traveling in such a short span, but she was happy to carry on. There wasn’t much left in life if you did not have a family, and Vaspira knew deep down that her father was more than likely dead, but she had to know for sure.

The Archer’s voice brought her out of her thinking, and placed her attention back on the woman. ”Me? Forward?” Vaspira said in an soft innocent voice, ”Maybe.. But how else is a girl supposed to get what she wants if she was not forward about it.” The huntress gave her friend a wink, as they made their way into the Tavern.

They sat down in a shaded corner of the Red Diamond, and Miria described what exactly she meant by keeping her up all night. The woman wanted to know everything about her, every little detail that Vaspira could possibly share with her. The first round of drinks arrived, and Vaspira laughed a little. It seemed the woman planned on getting drunk, as well as getting the light weight Kelvic drunk as well. Vaspira laughed happily, ”Alright then. To friends, love, and adventure!” Vaspira said excitedly, raising her glass up into the air, and then swallowing the liquid fire in one swallow. She coughed a little, and made a growling noise to clear her throat. ”My favorite color is blue. The blue of the waters of the Suvan Sea, and the blue of the cloudless sky during summer.” Vaspira spoke in a voice that she had to keep clearing, it seemed swallowing the liquid fire in one gulp was not the best of ideas.

Vaspira was like no one the Coolwater has met before. Hers was a truly a radical way for someone to approach situations. Miria could not help but feel slightly impressed to what lengths Vaspira was able to stick to her convictions. The Vantha doubted that she could stick to her guns quite like her roommate. That fact worried her to no end even though it brought the archer so much joy right now. "To the best of friends." Miria replied back. To her surprise Vaspira's voice came out little more then a squeak in between her pauses. The archer could not help but laugh at Vaspira's expense. "This could not be the first time you've had a grand farewell like this right? They do a good amount of drinking in your blue Suvan Sea yes?" Following up with more laughter Miria could not stop laughing at Vaspiras expense. Sometimes she was just too damned cute.

"I suppose it's my turn yes?"
Putting a hand on her lips she tried to recall what exactly she asked Vaspira. "Ah that's right! Well my favorite color is the color of the sun. The color of the happiness in my eyes." Her eyes flared with her usual happy gold before trying to change it into the blue that Vaspira coveted. It was pretty easy considering Vassy was the one who taught her to try to be seductive to others. "Tell me more about the Suvan. Being in such a warm place, your sailors seem quite like the ones back at Coolwater. Was a sailor your first love?" Speaking her piece Miria took another healthy gulp from her mug before quickly ordering another round for the two of them. “How old are you exactly? Don't tell me your a day under twenty I won't believe it. You should be able to keep your wits after just one mug.”

Vaspira chuckled lightly at Miria’s words. She had never really drank with no one before, she lived a life of solitude, never interacting with the people of the Suvan, not making friends, lovers, nothing. She stayed in the jungles, being a black leopard, that was her life, her life revolved around her mother and that was it. But she just laughed it off, and nodded her head when the Archer asked if it was her turn.

Vaspira smiled, she loved the color of her friends eyes, or the colors. She had always been jealous of the changing eye colors of the Vantha. It was a wonderous ability, yet a weakness if one figured out the puzzle. Vaspira had yet to determine what every eye color meant, but she had a vague idea. When it was her turn to talk, Vaspira sipped a little more of that liquid fire and cleared her throat.

”On the Suvan Sea I lived a life of solitude. Never really social with anyone. My life revolved around the jungle and my mother. I have never had a lover, or a love interest. Never had a friend either.” Vaspira looked down at the alcohol and then brought it to her lips draining the glass. ”The Suvan is a beautiful place none-the-less. Warm, salt laden air, powder white sands. It is a beautiful place to be sure, not white and frozen like Avanthal.” Vaspira chuckeld lightly. ”In human years I am 20 years old. But the life of a Kelvic is short lived. We age quickly. One day we are a crying babe at the bosom of our mothers, in a month we are a toddler” Vaspira coughed a little, the burning of her throat was starting to feel funny. She was not sure if she felt her lips or not either, they were starting to feel slightly numb, so she kept rolling her lower lip between her teeth.

”So, have you ever left Avanthal? And how old are you?” Vaspira asked on a hiccup as she started to roll her lower lip between her teeth. Are my lips there!? Yes… Yes they are still there. Why do they feel so strange! Vaspira’s face made a little frown as she pondered her lips inside her head.

In the jungle? Perhaps near the Suvan was a grand jungle that stretched close to the sea. Leaning in obviously interested at the strange new land Miria almost felt like interrupting her halfway through. Perhaps when before we turn it in for the night one last question. Blinking in surprise Miria could not believe the last few words coming out of Vaspira's mouth. Alternating between a worried green and a sorry hazel before swiftly changing again to a shocked sanguine. She was all those things and she never bothered to tell her? Come on Vassy!

Her mouth gaped slightly as Vaspira turned the questions back at her. Smiling unbelieving Miria just shook her head reminding herself that that was how kelvics operated. Perhaps as she grows older Vassy will learn to divulge such information to those that tried to get close to the huntress. "Of course I have! Many a time I went out to the wastes searching for something to do! However my most interesting journey was when I got married. We took a boat to Denval and later Wind Reach. I was barely twenty when I sailed out of Avanthal I was much like how you are now in fact! Though I admit I was a bit knave in thinking that everything in the world was all and well. It has been almost eight long years since then yet I don't think I've really grew up much from then. But that's enough of that right? You don't wanna hear an older woman's woes right?"

"Besides..." Bouncing slightly in her seat Miria could barely contain her excitement at the news. "You coulda told me your a kelvic. That explains so much Vass!" Wrinkling her eyes as Vaspira nonchalantly messed with her lips Miria offered her mug close to the kelvic's lips. "Keep drinking it's better to get used to it earlier anyway. So people won't take advantage of you next time." Resting her head on Vassy's shoulders Miria sighed depressed once again realizing how she had yet figured out the suddenly kelvic's quirks. Perhaps they were all like that? Spending a time just resting while yet another round came for them Miria gestured for the waitress to stop giving them more drinks. Two or three was good for the moment.

"Vassy I've been thinking." Pausing slightly Miria started circles on the kelvic's shoulders acting rather familiar with her friend. "You know how you said you've never had a friend before? Are we not friends?" Pouting slightly her head didn't move from the other's shoulder as her eyes searched up for an answer. "You know what friend's like to do together? They like to go on crazy adventures or romps they can laugh about after it's all over." Though the archer might have alluded to something unwillingly she continued on so that there wasn't any further confusion. "Vassy I wanna ride you. Your a kelvic right? If your big enough can I ride you?" Pleading eyes aimed at Vaspira revealed that Miria was quite serious in this request. "I want to be your first. Bondmate I mean. If only a little while." Miria had heard the word once when dealing with the Icewatch one time, though admittedly she did not know what it entailed.

The Archer’s eyes began to change during her answer. It was difficult to pick up on her mood, she could see the green worry then the sorry hazel, the other she was not sure but by the expression it had to be shock. Vaspira did not mind sharing her stories with her friend, they had been room mates yet still knew so little about one another.

Then Vaspira asked her question, and was shocked to hear the woman was married. ”W..Wait.. YOUR MARRIED!? Vaspira exclaimed her mug of alcohol she held in her hand tipping over slightly at her enthusiasm and spilling a little on the table. She was shocked to learn that the woman was married, where was her husband? Was he out on an adventure or were they not together anymore?

Vaspira listened to the bouncing Miria as she told her that she did not know she was Kelvic. Vaspira thought it was obvious to the woman, with the slits in her eyes and the fang like teeth, and the urge to eat her rabbit, and the rabbit being nervous around her. She only assumed she knew. She took a sip of the offered mug, the burning sensation all but gone away now, as the light headed feeling began to enter her body. The Archer rested her head on her shoulder, a little pouty once again. Vaspira was used to the mood changes though, she did that sober at times, especially since she learned of her leaving.

The circles that Miria made on her shoulders made chills, it tickled slightly. She was not used to the soft touches of another. The memory of the slavers who attempted to violate her body made her wince, and she banished the memory just as quickly when her friend’s question shocked her. ”Of course we are friends. You are my only true friend that I have Miria.” Vaspira said softly, throwing her arm over the woman’s shoulder. Then she went on to ask about riding her, which made Vaspira chuckle lightly, ”I am not a horse. I am a black leopard. Silly.” Vaspira said, pointing with her free hand at her eyes and fangs inside her mouth, ”A predator that munches on sweet little rabbits.” The Huntress laughed again, the alcohol making her head feel a little cloudy.

The conversation took a turn that the Kelvic was not expecting, in which Miria was asking to be her bondmate. It did not really work like that, as far as Vaspira knew. It was a connection between two people that was instantly felt. Miria and her had a connection that was true, but Vaspira did not feel bonded to the woman. She stroked Miria’s hair softly, ”It doesn’t really work like that sweetie. It is not a ask and thy shall receive type of thing.” Vaspira felt bad for rejecting her friend, but it was better this way, ”Besides. If we were bonded we would have known awhile back. Plus being separated would nearly kill me anyways, so it is for the best.” Vaspira sighed, ”I am going to miss you Miria.”

Her words were true, she was going to miss the Vantha woman. She was her only friend, the only person besides her mother that she loved and cared about. She would rip out a person’s throat that ever harmed her friend, but soon she would be leaving, and that meant that she would not be there to protect her friend no longer, and that fact made Vaspira sad.

Miria grumbled slightly at the rejection though in hindsight she should have asked if she was big enough to carry the woman. "Don't threaten Honey, hon. I'll fight you for him." Flailing wildly under her arms the archer quickly tired as she slumped over obviously highly inebriated. "Aww...that's okay. I don't want Vassy to die right?" Miria was past the point of offering too much resistance at this point, the archer was more then satisfied from this farewell. "It's alright Vassy. I understand why you have to go. I'm just being selfish and trying to keep you for myself."

Easing herself off Miria faltered slightly on her two feet waving off any attempts to help her. "I'm okay. I swear." There was only one thing left in young Miria's mind. Extending her hand out to Vaspira she waited till the huntress was ready to go before heading back to their home. The archer distanced herself from the newly revealed kelvic trying to soak in what Vaspira recently revealed. The drinking did not help Miria remember but could she have known Vassy held that much from her? "Of course I was married Vassy." Miria hiccuped as she started causing a overly excited giggle from the archer. "Most vantha marry young. It's too harsh to live out your early years without someone to call your own."

Speaking in a matter-of-factly tone helped Miria put on an air of confidence between the two. "You know it explains so much." Moving only her eyes Miria's face was set forward as she referred to Vaspira regarding the subject. "You being a kelvic I mean. I just thought you liked showing off your teeth and your preferences towards Honey were just because you weren't raised in Avanthal. Vantha spend more time with kelvics then most people yet I myself can't really tell us apart." Leaning over and taking the Vassy's hand Miria urged herself to be more assertive with her feelings and relations. This time she wanted their farewell to be on good terms. "You better write. Even if you don't know how." Grimacing slightly she recalled the time she left her to tend to Honey. "Did you read my letter that day I went out with the girls from Snowsong? I asked you to take care of Honey for the day. You didn't terrorize my Honey Bunny did you?"

Listening to the kelvic Miria simply laughed it off as her eyes started settling in her amicable yellow tone. "So many questions, so little time." Miria looked up to see Coolwater in sight to which she merely sighed realizing the day was coming to a close. Tomorrow Miria would have to help Vaspira prepare and send her on off to do what she felt destined to do. 'What was a jungle? When will I see you again? Were you going to be okay on your own?' Miria silenced the thoughts as one suggestion was on her mind. "Vassy you know our bed right? It's not like the usual hammocks of Coolwater for a reason. Before I got married I was part of Skyglow hold a place for artists of all types. I pleaded with my husband to move the bed frame here as I moved to Coolwater." Opening the door into their room Miria happily noticed Honey already asleep and content in his area as Miria collapsed on the bed.

Closing of her eyes and trying to sober up Miria's eyes flashed open trying to remember what she was going on about. "Oh right! Vassy I want to show you something." Giving the kelvic some time to prepare Miria started to disrobe in front of Vaspira covering herself shyly at first before slowly revealing herself. Turning around along the slight of her back Miria showed the only real interest she had in Skyglow hold. Tattoos of random design and strewed lines were revealed hiding behind the cascade of ebony hair that Miria had. Breathing easy she let Vaspira have her fill before putting on the barest of clothes for common decency. "If I can't mount you nor convince you to stay let me draw you Vassy."

Though her skills as an artist were nonexistent the bed frame still held very sincere memories of happier times. Miria recalled the first art project she had with Laforte where she drew a very basic picture of a girl and a boy holding a prize of theirs together. What was it? Miria's face smiled at recalling it was just a length of rope that they would tie themselves up with. Even the pictures she made with Morello was of a happier time. They drew their adventures out at sea in Denval and Wind Reach. "I want something to remember my dear Vaspira by." Miria finally said recalling where she put her bed frame's supplies. There Miria sat awaiting Vaspira's decision, slightly scared of her sudden demands. "Then I can rest easy. Knowing I have one more night to share with a love of mine with a picture of her face for me to remember her by."

oocWanna end it here after you post? Unless you had other plans for the two which I'm down for. I really don't want to talk about Miria doing something I have no idea what to do so I would just infer she did it.

Vaspira listened to the drunken woman, staying silent and looking at her with her predator eyes and a small smirk on her face. She felt light headed herself, but she had not indulged so much to be drunken as Miria had found herself to be. Vaspira watched her friend get up slowly, telling her she was okay. She only shook her head, her dark hair bouncing around her face as she stood up and grabbed her friend, ”I will not have my friend harm her beautiful face by falling on it, lean on me.” The Kelvic said with a small chuckle as they left the tavern, heading in the direction of their home.

The woman spoke briefly about her marriage, saying that Vantha married young, because the city was too harsh to live out alone. Vaspira did not really understand this, maybe it was because she aged quicker than normal humans, or that she was used to being alone already, so she just nodded her head, muttering ‘of course’ as she helped her friend walk through the snow to the Coolwater hold.

Before they reached the hold, Miria spoke once again, saying her being a Kelvic explained a lot of her personality. Telling her to write even if she did not know how. Vaspira could write, not as well as a schooled human, but she could write enough that anyone with a brain could decipher it, and she had a common knowledge of reading, she just preferred not to read, everything was easier hands on for her. ”I promise I will write you my dear. I did not hurt your Bunny, I would never do anything that would hurt you in any way, I care too much about you. I may of played with her a little… you know… hide and seek…. Predator versus prey style.. But I never hurt your Honey Bunny.” Vaspira said with a stern reassurance in her voice. It was true, she would never do anything that would hurt her friend in anyway, physically, emotionally, or mentally. She had too much respect for the woman, and she cared too much to ever do anything to harm her.

The hold was in sight, the woman beside her muttering so many questions, so little time, as their day was coming to a close. Vaspira wished time could stop for them, that they could spend more time together before she had to go. She would miss her so much, it was hurting her heart just thinking about it. Vaspira sighed at the drunken womans next question, and nodded her head. Miria’s words perked her interest when she said artists of all kinds, made her wonder what kind of artist she was.

As they made their way inside Vaspria yawned and stretched her arms out above her head, waving at Honey the Bunny with a fanged smile. They actually did get along pretty well, even though the bunny was actually prey. She supposed it was out of respect for Miria that they did get along though. Vaspira banished her thoughts and brought her attention to a scantly clad Miria, her mouth gaping slightly at the beautiful artwork on her back. There were random designs swirling under the cascade of her hair. It was gorgeous, beautiful, and matched her personality so well. ”That is lovely dear, very lovely. It suits you so well.” Vaspira smiled, as she clothed herself once again.

”I would love for you to draw me my dear friend, one day we will be together again, do not worry yourself so much. I am a big predator after all, anything that bother’s me I will just rip it’s throat out.” Vaspira gave a playful wink to her friend, and sat on the bed still with the facial expression the woman instructed her to hold as she drew her. She would miss this, this interaction between friends. Vas knew she would never allow herself to become this close to another person again, it hurt too much to up and leave them, after such friendship was made between two individuals.

OOCOkay that sounds fine to me. This was a great thread if I say so myself. Poor Vas and Mir :(. Broken apart after such a short time.. Sad stuff.
