Gilaman the Jaw Crusher has arrived in Riverfall and claims he can't be beat in 1 on 1 combat. Hey, you never know! I detail it all in the OOC notes, but winning the tournament isn't based on simple skill points, but on quality of writing. This way, it's a real competition instead of something predetermined based on previously earned points

Yes. I looked twice too. Totally game friendly though. Hello Rivarians! I have some announcements for you. First off, you might have noticed that we're gearing up for some mid-season excitement. There's going to be sweaty men wrestling, some recipe contest threads, and the big main Cyphrus quest will get underway soon. Details to follow... There's new locations in the city as well. The Bluevein Apartments are in. Raven's Perch is in, The White Crane is in, and Laviku's Tower is now fully fleshed out in a location. You can check out the Riverfall Codex for links and descriptions... or you can just snoop through the forum threads yourself. All appropriate NPCs from these locations have been added to the Masterlist behind the Waterfall as well. We will talk more about the NPC Masterlist when its completely done. But its getting close, thanks to Magpie's very diligent help. In addition, due to our slacking off (count wise) of threads in Riverfall recently, I've decided to change the city rules a bit and start allowing Zith and Symenestra in the city. Anyone who molests these characters will be hassled by the Kuvay'Nas who are sworn to protect them. In fact, new Zith and Symenestra PCs will be given free housing and living expenses for their first four seasons. The rest of you will be charged at +10% tax on all your living expenses to make up for this difference in the city coffers. Nivar has also proclaimed that these two ethnic groups will get preferential hiring on all jobs in the city. So if you have one of these sorts of PCs and want to jump into RF and RP... feel free! You won't have issues getting a job, even if an Akalak, Konti, or normal human already holds that position. Finally all perk points have been added to the master list and there are some decided winners in terms of development. I have to tip my hat to Rosela who has a running total of 350 points thus far. I don't know who is worse Jen or Uopa lol I will say this..unless there are some Konti additions to this, Riaris is going Akalak hunting..TRY ME. Secondly..we're allowing Zith and Symenestra into the city and the Kuvay'Nas are supposed to protect them? The same ones that they were just hunting last season? This is going to REALLY confuse my PC...I mean REALLY.
