Afternoon

It was a lovely Spring day, or it started out that way anyways. In the morning hours the Syna held herself high above the world, shining brightly down upon the people of Wind Reach, her warm rays kissing their cooled skin. Now the sky was beginning to darken, ominous dark clouds had started to gather, blocking out the warm light of Syna. Aradia still felt as if it was a beautiful day, she did not let the clouds dampen her spirits, for life was a generous thing to be had, and each day was to be treated as if it may be the last time you shall breath.

As Aradia made her way to the Courtyard of the Sky, small silver droplets of rain began to pitter-patter against the stoned floor, splashing upwards as they hit. The Singer stopped in her tracks, peering up at the sky, as the rain began to gather up speed, falling faster and faster, plummeting downwards upon the ground. It was music to the Singer’s ears. Every little pitter and patter against the stone, made a melody. The wind whistling around her, the rain drops spattering all about, the silently rumble of the thunder above, was a melody that only nature could construct. And as the rain began to fall even harder, Aradia absorbed the music around her, her clothing making her feel contained to the beauty all around her.

So, with the feeling of constraint, and living each day to her fullest, she stripped herself of her clothes, piling them up on the ground. The Singer stretched her arms up to the sky, letting her head fall back, closing her eyes and feeling the rain hit her nude body. She felt like the thirsty spring flowers, stretching upwards to the rain, finding their sustenance from the liquid silver drops. She listened with her arms up high, listened to the music all around her, letting it feed her body, her soul. The music of nature carried her feet, and she began to dance to the melody of the Spring rain.

All innocence forgotten, as she twirled her body around in the rain, enjoying the way it splashed on her exposed legs as her feet hit the stoned ground. She was not a talented dancer, but she did not care, she just danced, she just let herself go, enjoying the moment. The Singer twirled her arms as she danced around in a small circle, smiling and laughing joyously as she did so, not caring about the eyes all around her, staring at her display of enjoying life.

Dancing to the Music of the Spring Rain

Postby Iosha on March 28th, 2013, 3:45 am

Iosha was working most of the morning in the Infirmary, and she escaped without Aidara giving her overtime. Ever since the Sanikas Gate have opened, the Inarta hunters had been getting more opportunities to hurt themselves out in the field, so the healers had been working doubly as hard to keep up with the high influx of patients. Iosha was tired, sore, and stressed, so all the healer wanted was a to take a hot bath, go home, and read the day away. Since the spring started in Wind Reach, Iosha had taken a different route home to take advantage of the warm days and the beautiful scenery of her new home. The exposed warren gave her a perfect picture of the Thunder Bay from the volcano. It was breathtaking sight seeing the surrounding country side from the high altitudes made Iosha yearn for summer to arrive, so she can take full advantage of ocean surrounding Skyinarta. When Iosha made it to the warren overlooking the bay, Iosha stopped and saw the sky was starting to darken above the volcano. The konti watched as the rainclouds start to gather over her head just a few hundred feet above her. It was amazing watching the weather from the far up into the sky. It was almost like you could see Zulrav paint his masterpiece over the konti head.

Iosha continued down the warren, and she could hear the rain start to fall outside. It was a steady downpour nothing to drenching, but it was enough for Iosha to stay to inner wall of hallway. She looked over at the bay, the blond woman couldn't even see the bay anymore through the clouds and rain falling down upon the land of the Inarta. The Konti picked up her pace to the Courtyard of the Sky hoping the rain stopped before she made to the large open area. When Iosha made it to courtyard, the blond woman stopped in her tracks as she watch a lone woman dancing NAKED in the rain. The konti made it no secret that she was attracted to both genders, so she sat their for a chime or two watching the beautiful Inarta woman celebrate the coming rainstorm in her birthday suit. Iosha leaned up against the pillar, and she smiled at the freedom the woman must be feeling when the cool rain touched the pale skin of the woman's body. Iosha looked up at the sky for a moment, and she saw the rain wasn't letting up, so she thought to herself with a blush, “Should I join her? She must of notice my staring at her by now.” Iosha ran a hand through her blond hair contemplating if she should head out and join the woman in her naked revelry. The Konti reached back and said out loud to herself, “Why should I be ashamed to show my naked body to city...”

Iosha started to stripped herself of her clothing, and she could feel the flush starting to creep up her face with every article clothing she removes from her body. Eventually, she had a pile of white clothing sitting by the driest possible spot. She could find in the pillar. The blond woman subconsciously tried to cover her breasts by crossing her arms, but she realized other parts of her were still exposed, so she threw up her hands and walked into the courtyard. Iosha instantly started to shiver in the cool spring rain, and she look down to watch the rain glide down her scales on her side. Iosha feeling cold crossed her arm over her breast again, and she walked up to the woman noticing she was the woman from the archery range the night before. Iosha smiled warmly at the woman remembering her name as Aradia. The rain started to come down harder, and she felt like a drowned rat standing in the Courtyard of the Sky. When she made it to the dancing woman, Iosha put a piece of wet hair behind her ears and said meekly with a playful smile on her face, “Aradia...? I have problem. I am naked, cold, and I don't know how to dance, so what do I do to solve my problem?”

Dancing to the Music of the Spring Rain

Postby Arandolya on March 29th, 2013, 7:30 am

Upturning her face, Arandolya smiled as the light of Priskil basked her face with its gentle and loving warmth, filling her heart with its radiance. The woman took a moment to relish the delightful sensation as she moved towards Skyinarta, footsteps light and a hum slipping past her lips as she walked. It was a pleasant day, and one she had a late start to for hunting. The woman trudged along today, not wishing the lovely mood she draped herself in dampened by the presence of some cynical Endal or chattering Avora. Arandolya didn't even have her bow on her as she wandered, half-expecting an Endal to just recruit her for a hunt, or be chastised for being so lazy.

The young hunter couldn't help it today, waking up in a bright and pleasant mood. She had a bounce in her step as she walked, justifying to herself she would work through her two upcoming days off if she was allowed to simply meander through the mountain today and relax under the gentle reach of Priskil.

The weather had different ideas though as clouds began to gather on the horizon, rumbling and ominous in their approach. Arandolya squinted towards them, though she saw no flashes of lightening and just continued on her way up into the mountain. Perhaps she would travel to the Courtyard of the Sky and listen to the noise of the rain from an alcove. Even the thought of rain would not worsen her spirits, as Arandolya smiled at the idea, moving at a faster pace towards the Courtyard, content to tell herself hunting would be wrapped up for the day if it rained in earnest - no point in going out now!

When Arandolya reached the Courtyard, a startling view greeted her bright golden gaze, as she jerked to a halt before leaving the safety of the exit, the sheet of rain blurring her vision. The stark red of Inartan hair and the pale shine of bare skin was unmistakable though, a pile of clothes tucked carefully into one corner, while another was set by Arandolya, seemingly discarded before the owner entered. The one was dancing - literally, twirling, leaping, and running - in the rain, with the other approaching to give her pause. As they stood close, their faces were too warped by the rain for Arandolya to recognize them. One was much more delicate, a modest air to the way she protected her breasts from sight, her soaked blond hair a fascinating sight. Red was the color of the mountains and its people, thus Arandolya found other hues alluring exotic. The other had bright red hair, longer and the grace of a dancer who didn't care who watched. The confidence of her body was simple beautiful.

Arandolya didn't know she was removing her clothing too. She barely registered that her Vinati had slipped off to join the pile of the other woman's, Bryda soon joining with her light undergarments, sandals long discarded. The one's huddled frame, and the other's straight back spoke of a simple joy and radiance that Arandolya knew she could not sit where she was. Her body wanted to join under the sheet of rain, and the carefree attitude of the Inarta when it came to the body wanted it too. Her hands reached out to let the rain pound their beat into her lightly tanned skin, cool and refreshing after the heat of Priskil's sun only chimes before.

Stepping out, Arandolya stopped for a chime to close her eyes and upturn her face as she did to the sun. This time though she let the rain spread its tendrils over her eyes, move down the curve of her cheek, cling to her red curls that tumbled free down her back and play teasingly a clear taste on her tongue. Blinking back the water for a moment, she ventured farther. A small laugh trickled out as the rain shimmied down her spine, sending a chill through her small body. Golden eyes greeted the two happily, though she said no words as she grabbed their hands. Arandolya quirked a grin, and pulled them with her as she began to move her feet to some sort of tune the rain pelted out. Letting go of the blond's hands - were those scales she saw? - Arandolya twirled herself underneath the fellow Inarta's hand, then let it go as well as she skipped away. Her feet leaped and her body spun with careless joy as her hands motioned for the others to accompany her to compliment the wild song of Spring.

Dancing to the Music of the Spring Rain

Postby Darren on March 30th, 2013, 7:16 pm

"Keep it down out there! I was just about to go back to sleep!" Burying his head in his bed Darren could not find a relaxing position to rest in. "Shut up!" Using a language he did not know Darren only heard heard laughter at his comment. "What an accent." "Doesn't he realize it's past the 2nd bell in the afternoon?" Barring himself from the noise Darren tried to drown out the raspy, birdlike language the Inarta used to talk. Why was he so damned tired anyway? Being a normally more then healthy Vantha the only times he ever felt this tired was after he overgived with flux.

Maybe that's what is happening now. I've gone so long without letting loose a bit that I'm suffering in a new way. The idea played around in the vantha's head, constantly bombarding him with whispers of this being a symptom. "Enough!" Sweat streaking down his shirt Darren breathed heavily though he had spent the day bed ridden. Perhaps this calls for a change of pace? Shoving off the covers that were smothering him Darren went outside his room with a start.

A small hush from the din and the Vantha's mind felt clearer then it had been inside the cramped bedroom. Turning his head to the curious sound that he didn't recognize Darren started in the direction of where he can see the rain fall. Such a curious sight growing up in Avanthal having the snow pour down on you aggressively and furiously. Upon feasting his eyes upon the curious sight for the first time Darren recalled the words that he said that day. "What the petch am I looking at?"

Apparently there was a wild sexy party going on in the courtyard. Another crazy Inarta tradition? Perhaps it took him about five market days to realize what and when they occurred. This celebration of the spring rain was something the Vantha completely understood. At least this time he wanted to understand. Looking around him Darren noticed that some looks from the Inarta were aimed at him as well. Why were they looking at me like I'm not wearing pants? His eyebfrows furrowing in need thought Darren gave out a withheld sigh as he looked down and checked. "Oh. It's because I forgot to wear pants."

At least in the cover in the rain the three lovely ladies had their lithe bodies somewhat obscured. Sheepishly edging towards the rain Darren started to undress the rest of his attire as he started forward and to join the trio. This aspect of the Inarta I can get used to. Freezing for a moment Darren's eyes shone a slight sliver of red seeing the blonde hair and the scales on the last woman's skin. Longer hair then mine. Standing uneasily before them for a moment Darren didn't hesistate further as he went to join them. "Hello lovlies!"

Dancing to the Music of the Spring Rain

Aradia did not notice the scaled woman coming up to her, she was too busy leaping and laughing in the rain, but the woman’s voice made her stop and look at her. Iosha confided that she had a problem, that she was naked, cold, and did not know how to dance. Aradia chuckled at the woman, shaking her head from side to side, ”You just dance, you do not have to know how! Once you start dancing you will not be cold anymore!” Nai’a said excitedly, tilting her head back into the rain, laughing. ”If we knew how to do everything, it wouldn’t be no fun, now would it.” Aradia tilted her head back down, shaking it side to side, her wet hair flying around her sending water flying. Aradia sent her Konti friend a wink, grabbing her scaled hand. She noticed the scales, but found them quite alluring on the woman, not strange at all.

The Singer was about to start dancing with her friend, but then another woman came up, another familiar face. Grabbing their hands they began to move through the rain, dancing to the music of Spring, swaying their bodies together, Aradia laughed joyously. Then Arandolya let Iosha’s hand go, twirled around under her hand, and skipped away dancing in the rain. Aradia gave her scaled friend a warm smile, grabbing her hand in her own, nodding her head after Arandoyla, signaling for them to follow. With that, Aradia began to dance with her friend, following the woman in the rain, dancing merrily in their naked flesh.

Aradia did not think anything about the nudeness of the group, though she was a very modest person by nature, it felt… relieving, to not be confined to clothes. She felt a sense of freedom to be naked, dancing in the rain, not having a care in the world. All worries dropped, as she swayed with the wind, danced to the music of the rain. Her merriment was broke though, with a familiar male voice. Aradia stopped in her tracks, eyes as wide as a frightened doe, looking at Darren. The Vantha male that was a sex addict.

Aradia gasped a little, her hands moving to cover up her flesh. What is the point… He has already seen it. Aradia thought, her cheeks burning red at seeing the male. I have never seen a male naked before… the Singer said to herself, as she stared at the male’s naked flesh, So that’s what it looks like… the little innocent half-blood said aloud, and tilted her head to the side examining the strange part on the male, her cheeks flaming further. She had a intense urge to touch the male, just out of curiosity, but quickly thought better of it. She was slightly entranced by the naked male, but then she shook her head, shaking away the thoughts that had started to consume her mind. Why was I thinking about touching... him? Ughh.. Aradia thought, her violet eyes going back up to the Vantha before them.

”Darren… So good to see you again, care to join us? Aradia said with a warm smile, speaking Vani, not waiting for him to answer. Instead she returned to dancing in the rain, splashing water around her as her feet pounded on the stoned ground.

Dancing to the Music of the Spring Rain

Postby Iosha on April 1st, 2013, 3:57 pm

Iosha felt more confident about herself when Aradia told her to simply dance, so the konti started to prance around under the cloudy sky. Iosha needed to let her mind be free since the start of spring was hectic and emotional stressful for the fragile minded konti. The blond woman started to jump around and twirl to a nonexistence tune in her head. The woman closed her eyes letting the rain drops be her music. It was a calming feeling, and it reminded her of the time Cephei and her swam in the rain. It was a wonderful memory for her since it resulted in Iosha's first kiss. Again the konti twirled letting the water fly from her soak hair in every direction. Iosha opened her violet eyes to see the smiling face of a Inarta with eye of golden miza. She gave the Inarta woman a extravagant bow one she learned at the parties in Rovak, and Iosha closed her eyes once again and started to prance throughout the courtyard, twirling, jumping, and laughing the whole time. When she made it back to the group, she took Araida by both hands and started to dance around in circles with the violet eyed beauty. Iosha smiled warmly at the woman in a way of gesturing thanks to her. Iosha looked over and saw the other Inarta woman dancing by them, and she let go of Aradia hand, reached out, snatched the hand of the unsuspecting Inarta, and pulled her two them. Hoping Aradia would grab the woman's hand, so they could all dance in a circle together.

Suddenly, Iosha eyes went wide in panic when she heard a man voice enter the three woman party. The konti immediately hide behind Arandolya as her nearly white skin started to turn pink in her face. Iosha was still not comfortable being naked around men even though she was with quite a few as a slave in Ravok. To make matter worse, it was the Vantha male from Thunder Bay who asked her if she had a mate yet. It wasn't something to ask to a complete stranger especially just a random konti. Iosha wasn't scared at him, but she hasn't been with a man in long time. She started to become bashful around them. Iosha had to admit he wasn't a unattractive man with his well defined muscles and his dark hair. Iosha shot a amused glance at the pretty singer when she admitted it was the first time, she saw the genitalia of the opposite sex. When the woman tilted her head to examine him further, Iosha put a webbed hand on her shoulder and whispered in her ear with a giggle, “Yes, the penis ranging in all different sizes and girth depending on the male...” She let the Vantha woman pondered the thought for a moment. Knowing the half Inarta might actually hit her afterwords. Iosha looked at both Aradia and the Vantha male when they seemed to know each other. Iosha blushed further when Iosha wondered if Aradia just invited him to join them in their naked dance. Iosha said quietly to Arandolya from behind her, “Sorry for hiding behind you like a terrified hermit crab. By the way, my name is Iosha Moonchaser. What is your name?”

The three ladies danced in the rain, one moment grasping onto each others' hands as they twirled in circles, another each migrating away to spin their own melody to the rhythm the rain laid down. Arandolya let her sodden red curls swing around her, feeling it cling to her breasts and face as her feet left the ground in great leaps of faith, arms spreading around her as she landed on one foot a moment after. Her foot followed to turn the landing into a long stride, whipping herself around with a careless laugh, arms trailing after her swirling movements.

Then, a strange voice rang in her ears, pitched over the musical lyre of the rain fall. "Hello lovlies!" it said. Arandolya paused, and her eyes, golden and bright, searched for the source. It was male, very male and very non-Inarta in his Common wrapped with a soft lilt. The two girls around her seemed surprised and embarrassed, the lovely Konti hiding behind her. Arandolya glanced at the woman with an amused smile, though she made no move to cover herself as Aradia commented on the man. Her own gaze searched him blatantly, and smiled as Aradia offered this Darren an invitation to their naked dance.

Did his eyes change color, or was that just a piece of the dim light? Arandolya studied Darren curiously, her own amber eyes glued to his. There! It did it again! Arandolya ventured a step closer, her head tilting slightly as her eyes asked the question. Why? She scanned his darker-hued body once more, this time drawn to the intricate design on his arm. It was beautiful, but it had something ... different to it that made her wonder who the tattoo-artist was. The mysterious Darren was definitely someone Arandolya would have to get to know more, as her eyes flicked back to his with a demure grin.

"Sorry for hiding behind you like a terrified hermit crab. By the way, my name is Iosha Moonchaser. What is your name?" came a quiet voice behind her. Arandolya turned to look at the petite blond that hide so modestly, running over the name curiously. Iosha? ... no ...
"Iosha Moon...chaser. Moonchaser? Iosha Moonchaser," Arandolya echoed, seemingly puzzled for a moment. Appearing on the verge to say something, the woman dismissed it with a shake of her head. No need to ask questions now. She frowned for a moment, running over her limited knowledge of Common as it seemed everyone but herself liked to speak the language. "I .. am called ... Arandolya," she said, drawing out her name significantly so Iosha would be able to catch the Nari pronunciation. It was hard enough for a Nari-native speaker to say it, as Arandolya was constantly shortened to 'Aran' much to her displeasure, and she hoped by saying it slowly Iosha wouldn't drop more than half of her name.

"A woman as ... pretty as you .. should not be so shy to show it," Arandolya added with a tilted grin, and quickly grabbed Iosha's hand with a laugh. "Let us ... stand around not!" she chimed as she twirled herself underneath the Konti's hand before leaping off with a giggle.

The red-head spun as she approached Darren, smiling as she came up beside the man. "You look like there is ... much a story to tell," she said in a halted Common, hand tracing down his left arm to run over the mark inlaid in his skin. Grinning, Arandolya grasped his hand and began to pull him closer to their group. "Come, the rain is ... sung a song, and we must ... dance to it!"

Dancing to the Music of the Spring Rain

Postby Darren on April 3rd, 2013, 6:44 am

Stopping short Darren kept to his brazen demeanor even after both Adaria and Iosha suddenly went skittish at his presence. Why were they so coy now? It's not like the other half of the courtyard could not see them. "Women and their insecurities." Not caring if they understood the Vantha arched an eyebrow in an appraising manner before taking a look of them each in turn. "So good to see you." Giving a sidelong glance Darren seemed wholly distracted taking in the Adaria's playful demeanor before bringing his attention to the more modest Konti. Her hair is longer then the one I remember. ...What was she going on about?

In truth it did not matter to Darren Whitevine. Bringing both of his arms up Darren rested his hands on his thread aiming a quick pelvic thrust for the Konti to see. "Still got it." Looking as if to limber himself up Darren shamelessly posed in a victory stance to show off his manliness. Pointing with both hands outstretched in one direction his body followed suit until switching to the opposite side. "It is fine to be checking me out yes?" Continuing with his showboating Darren even brought it upon himself to parade around the courtyard in a victory lap, hooting and hollering when it suited him. "Yea!!!!!!"

Done giving the girls their time to think Darren played off the spectacle as if it were an everyday occurrence. Getting caught up in his own fervor Darren was placated hearing another that was not so well versed in the common tongue. Getting the gist of what Arandolya meant by the welcoming motion towards the group he gave a sidelong glance at the Inarta with his eyebrows. Alternating it to the other side and once more back into it's original position before finishing his appraisal by pointing at the Inarta's bare skin. Retracting his pointer finger the Vantha smirked before giving up a thumbs up sign. "Good. Good... plan"

Though a self-absorbed show boater Darren was in fact a very generous dancer when given the chance. Giving each girl a fair turn Darren played no favorites as they danced in the rain. The Whitevine this time at least understood this was all in good fun. Giving Adaria a turn, Iosha a twirl and Arandolya a dip Darren laughed along with the group. Of course Darren gave the occasional poke but on the whole was unintentional for the most part. "Best Inarta Tradition."

Aradia was dancing happily in the rain, until her attention was brought back to the Vantha male. She stopped so suddenly she slid a little, wobbling with her arms out at her sides, until finally gaining her composure. Once up right and standing straight and still, Aradia watched as the male started to thrust his male part at her friend Iosha. Then he went into a pose, showing off that male part and his muscles. Of course, not ever seeing a naked male before, Aradia drank in the sight to remember later. Maybe she would ask Iosha what all that stuff was and what it meant and what it did. Since she did mention they came in all different sizes. Aradia laughed a little and shook her head at the Darren’s over confidence. Watching him run around the courtyard, hollering. ”He likes his body a lot. Aradia whispered beside the other women, as she chuckled lightly.

Aradia thought the man a little insane, or just arrogant. Either way the display of his body was something else, she was a little bashful about it, but wanted to examine this male a little further. He seemed like such an arrogant ass at times, at others he was humorous and easy to be around. His constant changing moods was a little frustrating, but still intriguing.

Finally after the Vantha was done showing off his man stuff, he was ready to dance with the woman. He danced with all the women, and Aradia could not help but notice his male part would poke her. At one point she swatted it softly with her hand, when it poked an area that she did not want it poking. All the same, even with the poking, it was fun, just to be able to be free and dance around with one another, not letting anything hold them back, not even their exposed flesh for all to see.

OOCBahahaha.. I am not going to lie, I clicked on the ‘Show’ button. But yes, Darren made me ‘LOL’ in RL.

Dancing to the Music of the Spring Rain

Postby Iosha on April 6th, 2013, 8:18 am

Still trying to hide her bashfulness from the male, Iosha smiled to herself when the woman shielding her body told her name was Arandolya. At first, she thought it was long name for the Inarta, but she enjoyed the way the named rolled off her tongue. To Iosha, the name Arandolya sound like a type of flower in to or around Wind Reach. She made the mistake of looking at the male when he made his pelvic thrust at her. The konti hated to admit it, but the naked man was starting to turn her on with his pelvic thrust. Iosha stared at him wide eyed until she started to turn red and looked into a puddle on the ground. She scolded herself in her mind for acting like a idiot in front of everyone. He was the first one to resume the naked dance as he started prancing across the courtyard without a care in the world. Iosha let out a deep breath trying to regain her composure. After the comment about Darren, Iosha turned to Aradia and said with a amused grin as she watched his naked buttock jump into the air, “Yes he is a amusing man, but I have to congratulate him on a outstanding butt.”

When Arandolya turned around, Iosha turned her attention away from Aradia and smiled at the beautiful woman when she took her hands. The bashful konti blush again when she was complemented by the naked stranger about her body. Iosha laughed slightly when she lead her out into the courtyard and twirled under her arm. After the twirl, Arandolya released her hand with a giggle. Iosha ran both her hand through her wet hair and said to Arandolya with a smile, “Yes, if we stand around too much, the rain might get impatient and stop entirely!” As she outstretched her arm, the konti started to spin around in circles trying to make herself dizzy. It was stupid thing to do, but she had fond memories of doing it as a child. She stopped before she got too dizzy, and she put her hands above her head and started to sway slowly in the rain allowing the rain to slide down the curves of her body. Feeling a presence behind her, she turned around to see the smiling face of Darren behind her, and she gave him a softly with a smile, “You are a long way from Avanthal...My name is Iosha. What is your name?” Iosha decided to dance close to him allowing him to admire her body as they dance in the rain. She admired him with her eyes as she watched the rain slide down the sides of his face. When their dance was over, Iosha let out a giggle to herself as he twirled her on last time before moving to the next woman.
