OLD [Syliras' OOC Thread] The Calm within the Storm

Hello Syliras!

Just popping in a message for you all. For those that might of been about and willing to flashback, Akhtar was raised and lived most of his life in Syliras from Summer 485AV to the 20th of Spring 504AV. It can be on pretty much anything; but remember folks, the further back we go, the younger we are!
Anyway, for anybody interested, drop a PM and we'll plot.

Man for a busy city it's people don't like to go to their OOC thread.

Just wanted to pop in and offer some threads to those that would like to rp with an aspiring squire (clique I know)

I'd love to do some horsebacking or some fighting/magic theory. I want to avoid bars since they are used SOOOO much.

I'm up for threads Sylirans

Lena is aspiring to aspire to be a knight - i.e. she plans on applying to be a squire at some point. Right now she is simply a cook in the castle kitchens. So she could definitely be interacting with the squires (which, there seem to be quite a few of them but how many knights are there in the city, exactly? I haven't been able to figure that one out)

Feel free to suggest something here or by PM, or I may be hitting you up with a PM myself if it seems Lena might have some reason to bump into or know your character (and she has been a life long resident of the city and been all over running errands, worked in a fine home previously as a kitchen maid and cook, so there's any number of reasons that she might meet you

)

And if anyone can think of a good premise for a really inclusive open thread (impromptu street festival - are those allowed?) I'd be willing to help get that started

Festival's are handled but Accolade I think but I'm sure if someone asked he'd be willing to allow some sort of get together for the citizens.

Hail Syliras!!

First off a very warm welcome to the new comers! Second I just want to say how awesome I think you all are! You are doing such an amazing job helping me keep the city alive and flowing. Our ranks have shot up to number one in post and thread counts so give yourselves a hand, I couldn't have done it without you!!

Now Lena, we have 7000 Knights strong in the city, however we don't have a lot of PCs Knights at the moment, but that will change soon when some of these slacker squires man up and do their Knighting quest

Now, about this street festival idea. I love it and I say go for it. You can time stamp it for after the quest festival so that we can say it lasted possibly two to three days. 30% discount for anyone that spends any coin in the thread. Get out there and have fun!
